OlderZac Efron: Hello From The VMAs!
Zac Efron didn’t stop for many media outlets on the red carpet at the 2008 MTV VMA Awards but he stopped by to say hello to Just Jared! Wahoo!!!
As always, the 20-year-old High School Musical star was the sweetest guy ever. I don’t have time to transcribe the interview right now as I’m backstage trying to hunt down more people but he’s dressed in Louis Vuitton.
And here’s a little tidbit: Zac was forever grateful to me and ALL OF YOU for the fantastic support you’ve shown him on this little ol’ blog. So, thank you thank you thank you!!!
P.S. No sign of Vanessa Hudgens yet.
UPDATE: My audio recorder is malfunctioning and doesn’t have the interview saved!!!! No!!!!!! I’m so sorry!!!! I’m going to try to get another interview for you guys. My apologies!!!!!

Vanessa wasent their becuse she had a concert today at the third street prominade! i went up to her and asked for a pic with her and she was so mean!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have no idea how Zac dates her! Zac you are hot but seriously date soemone nicer!!!!!!!!
Aww! That was very sweet of Zac. And, despite some of the unfortunate stuff that some post on here, there are definitely a lot of supportive fans here too. Glad you got to chat with Zac, Jared…and looking forward to seeing that interview later. :-)
Zac is looking as dashing as ever tonight. It was so nice to see he, V, Ash, and Corbin introduce Christina. They all looked wonderful. And Z & V shared a really sweet look with each other when they were coming out onto the stage. Zac’s mood certainly seems to have improved now that his bbv is there. :-D
I just saw Zac, Vanessa, Corbin and Ashley present on Youtube( sorry, I don’t know how to post the link). Zac and Vanessa looked freakin’ amazing together.
Ashley (#76) - did you perhaps ask her as she was trying to rush off to make it to the VMAs tonight? I know it’s unfortunate timing, but I’m sure she wasn’t able to really accommodate fans much as she had to be there tonight. I recently got to meet Vanessa and she was a complete sweetheart…above and beyond…to me. :-)
Saw pictures of Vanessa at the VMAs and she looked STUNNING!! Ugh, so jealous of her. I read about a fan encounter over at VABN and I’m so jealous of the people who got to meet her as well. Apparently she’s ten times as kind in person and 100 times more beautiful. Talented, beautiful, stylish and sweet? Life’s funny that way…

Well, don’t know the circumstances…one other thing that has been noticed is that her pr people are kind of blech about the photos thing and not wanting them taken with fans much…not saying that’s what happened there…sorry if it wasn’t as good of an encounter as you anticipated, Ashley. But, can only say that my own was basically as Christine described and I was not let down in the slightest.
Loved V’s dress…and those two always look good standing next to each other too. Fashion-wise…of course, they have the good looks going for them! LOL!

Awww..I am so happy for everyone here who gets to watch the VMA’s and able to see our gorgeous couple reuniting, unfortunately I am at work can’t watch and it’s noon here in my country. Thank you guys for sharing and so is md for the pics.

I think there is something going on with Zac and Vanessa. In recent pictures I’ve noticed he was not wearing his ring. Even though she was back in town tonight, he still looked really sad. Their body language was different than usual also. Think they have split and are just keeping under wraps until after HSM3 comes out?
I think that make a cute couple, but it must be really tough to date in the public eye. I hope their relationship is real and not just for publicity.

Zac had vitually not worn his ring since he had his surgery in January—right after he and Vanessa went to the Palm Springs Film Festival. We did NOT see a ring on his finger—other than the class ring he wore to film HSM3—-until the Elle photoshoot and then we saw him with a ring at the Teen Choice Awards. So, I’m not saying you have seen many pictures of him and Vanessa since January but to say you’ve noticed in “recent” pictures that he is not wearing his ring is a little misleading. Vanessa almost always has her ring on. They went on a romantic vacation together in July. In mid August Zac spend several days with Vanessa on her concert tour—neither time was Zac wearing his ring—but I doubt they would have been all over each other on a Caribbean island or Zac going to West Virginia and Iowa if they had broken up.
