Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron - MTV VMAs 2008
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron, aka Zanessa, announce Christina Aguilera at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards at Paramount Pictures Studios in Los Angeles on Sunday.
Vanessa announced in Matthew Williamson and Jimmy Choo shoes. Zac announced in Louis Vuitton.
High School Musical co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu were also on-hand to present. Tizz announced in Roberto Cavalli.
English comedian Russell Brand will host the event while Britney Spears will be opening up the night with a surprise performance. Kaba Modern and Fanny Pak of America’s Best Dance Crew will battle it out to determine who will present the Best Dancing in a Video award.

i love them Zac totally looked bummed at first then when he got around Vanessa he was all smiles (faints) i love them together that dress vanessa had on was bad ( i mean bad in a good way) that dress was hott i would totally rock that she looked beautiful he looked sexy as ever awesome couple

Precisely! My husband and I may not let on that we are upset with something going on at a party but once we get away from it we are TOGETHER even if we look upset. But that is the time we can let loose and voice our aggravation about what went down to each other NOT AT EACH OTHER. I still believe the were upset with their surroundings—crude remarks, people being drunk, etc, is why they don’t look happy. But as you said, Fan, whatever is going on, they left TOGETHER.
10:52 p.m. ET — Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were all smiles and holding hands as they walked out of the stage door — but when they got away from the crowd, the hands were dropped and their faces went cold. Looking much happier were Travis McCoy and Katy Perry, who walked out a moment later — despite no hand holding.

I totally agree with you . I don’t really think Zac nor Vanessa really wanted to be there. They have so little time with each other before she is off to Mexico again. Vanessa may have enjoyed it more than Zac, that is, if she saw any of the show before they left. I don’t think she arrived much earlier than when she was to go on. Supposedly security had her stuck outside for awhile. I’m sure they were both really tired and just wanted to get out of there and go home. TOGETHER! In the video that #101 Lissy 86 posted , you can see Vanessa and Zac together and seeming very ok . They are probably just glad to be with each other and ready to leave. If I remember correctly, Zac did not attend the AMA’s . Maybe these music award shows aren’t really his thing , who knows?

# 119, Malia: yes, it does! I don’t want to diss Heidi and Spencer, but please! But I have a feeling they just do that because Heidi and Spencer are from the Hills, which is MTV. Zanessa ‘is’ Disney Channel, so MTV doesn’t bother to be nice about them. That’s just what I think.

I don’t think they look like they are an item in these pictures. He’s got his hands in his pockets most of the time and she has on that awful scandalous dress.. maybe he’s getting sick of her and is going through the motions until HSM 3 is done. Hope he makes to move to London and finds a new babe.

I would say that Zac was not well pleased if Vanessa got held up outside by security. I don’t think he is a young man who enjoys things going wrong and if his lady was dealing with something like that I could understand his displeasure and need to get outside and vent! But of course if anyone catches such a thing it is trouble between them and not the situation at hand. They left the TCA’s early by the back door too.
In one of Zac’s interview he mentioned how the gossip magazines interpret things like “Oh, Zac’s not smiling, he’s on crack…” so now he and Vanessa are upset probably over all the stuff going on with security, etc, and yet MTV writes it up like there is trouble in their relationship! Unfortunately, that is what everyone wants to believe!!
