Before jetting back across town to present at the VMAs, High School Musical hottie Vanessa Hudgens performs at the Neutrogena Fresh Faces 2008 Concert on 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica, Calif. on Saturday afternoon.
At the event, Heroes actress Hayden Panettiere introduced V, as she came out to sing. Hayden along with V are both celebrity faces of Neutrogena.

Well, that’s why she is doing events! She’s promoting it. Duh!
It will be sad if her album sales will not go up but we can’t do anything about it. The best that she can do is to promote it heavly, and that’s what she’s doing.
To those who are saying that Ashley is the better dancer. No, she’s not. She can do the moves but she’s stiff. Probably because she’s thin and she doesn’t have curves. But I’m not hating on her. I like her. I like her personality and her young face. She pro’ly sings better live but her voice can become so squeeky.
How can you say that Vanessa can’t dance? What do you think she’s doing in HSM? Jumping around? Geez. I don’t know about the singing part, though, coz she can also be squeeky at times, but not as squeeky as Ashley.

Vanessa is working incredibly hard. She was in Albuquerque on Saturday night, then at Santa Monica for this promotion on Sunday afternoon and then to the VMA on Sunday night. Seriously people, this girl is by no means ugly and I agree that her skin looks great, but you really should get of this “Vanessa is such a sweetheart and a great role model”-train. Great to hear that her fans enjoyed her concert. According to Hayden Panettiere, this was the largest ever Neutrogena fresh face concert drawing 7000+ people on the day of the VMAs.
I admire her work ethic and the way she’s able to keep her poise and calm with a crazy schedule, always turning out stunning and unruffled despite all the chaos around her. And she’s not turned twenty yet.
More than anything, I appreciate that she being a guarded and private person naturally who doesn’t take easily to crowds is making the effort to put herself out there for her fans who support her.
The great thing is that she has a fantastic fan base that loves her the way she is, appreciates her efforts and will stick by her come hell or high water.
You’ve got to be special to arouse those kind of feelings in people of all ages and cultures and she’s one special lady.

It’s obvious that #64, #66 and #57 didn’t read other posts. Yesterday’s Fresh Face concert had the biggest turn out at any of those events ever with over 7000 people. Yep Vanessa is definitely going downhill. *dripping sarcasm#.
#68 I’m sorry to say this “Governor” *I do so hate to contradict a lady who may be our first female Vice-President” but Variety reported just a couple of weeks ago that Vanessa is in talks to star in another film. So you’re contention that she never gets call-backs because she “stinks” appears to be less then accurate.

I was also at the concert. It was great! I’m not really a fan of her music but I happened to be walking by and stopped, and stayed the entire time.
She is beautiful, and looked great in all of the clothes. I love the leggings she wore. Some of her shoes were cute…like the ones she arrived in and did the pink carpet, and the sneakers, but the wide boots didn’t look good with the tight leggings. He hair is beautiful. It’s layered perfectly and it does not look fake. She was sweating like crazy and you can see that it was directly attached to her scalp.
She was great to her fans, and am surprised at her enthusiasm and energy with such a crazy schedule. i thought she was in new mexico for a concert on friday, utah’s concert saturday and then arriving at LAX going to Santa Monica and then directly going to Hollywood. She is a great girl and needs to keep it up. She will do fine.

I was amazed how she drew a 7,000 strong crowd that day, and seeing the video of the event, the paps had a field day getting some good shots of her and when she came out on stage so many screaming everywhere.
I know more good things will come her way, she is a very hardworking and talented girl and she deserves all the adulation from fans, old and young alike.
