I can’t believe this dumb a_ _ broad-I’m watching The View right now and just want to jump through my flat screen and choke E.H. !!! She tries to justify everything John McCain does right or wrong. If that man shot someone in cold blood she’d defend him to the end-what a dumb a_ _ b_ t_ h!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is something else to stew on. Is Obama really what this country needs? NO! Is McCain what this country needs? NO! Fact is, this time it is the lesser of two wrongs. Having said that, I think both men have great ideas. I think both men can help situations without making them worse. However, only one just happens to match my views of how they should REPRESENT THE PEOPLE.

For what it is worth. I did a stent in Iraq. I was also in Dessert Storm. I am sick and tired of people saying things like “bring our troops home NOW”. Seriously every single person that is over there made a choice to be there, our loyalty is not to a man who calls himself president, it is to this fine nation we call AMERICA, this fine nation that we call HOME. All that goes with being an American soldier is standing up for those who cant stand for themselves. While the justification of this war is anyone’s guess, I do know now that I have seen it with my own eyes. THOSE PEOPLE NEEDED US and STILL NEED US.

For the first time women could walk on the street without worry of being raped then killed. For the first time a man could walk his kids to school where they are welcomed. For the first time those people have hope. It was hope instilled by an AMERICAN SOLDIER. I have a great friend a little boy names IANE he is 8 years old. My job was to secure his village so that the people of that village were protected. He made me a charm out of rock that hangs on my neck at this very moment. I share this to say… WE ARE NOT FINISHED over there and WE CHOSE TO GO, WE SHOULD CHOOSE when we come back. All I know is NOW IS NOT THE TIME.

Anyone who questions this is simply speaking from ignorance because they have not been there, nor have they seen the things that we do every day. McCain has been over very close to where I was stationed at least twice. Obama hasn’t bothered to come to where the troops are. McCain served us meals….cleaned up the hospitals. Obama not so much!

I speak for the vast majority of all serving men and women when I say McCain is the one who truly cares about this war and we soldiers. Will I vote for him? I do not know. Will I vote for Obama? I do not know. I may write someone in. Either way, I ask especially people on this forum. Be thankful for the person you are slandering, and be thankful for the computer you type at. Just like what we are fighting for in Iraq someone once fought that same fight for you giving you the ability to do such things, and watch “The View”.

We as Americans need to remember what got us to where we are and stop taking things for granted. Some of you chose to slander Elizabeth you have that right; I can’t help but think there are better things to do. GO hug a soldier, go write your congressmen, write your statesmen. GO to the local recruiting office and enlist, or better yet go to your local recruiting office and tell them you would love to write a letter of thanks to 10 soldiers who are serving in the wars….they will give you names and addresses. DO SOMETHING more than just blindly throw words around toward someone you don’t even know. Some may say, “well she does it so she deserves it”….to that, I say WAKE UP! Be the better person.
I part saying this: Remember soldiers love you, we choose to fight for you, AND WE CHOOSE TO FIGHT FOR THOSE WHO CAN NOT FIGHT FOR THEMSELVES. That is why we need to finish what we started! If I vote solely on that fact I will write McCain down in a heartbeat. We need to realize there really are no “Democrats” nor are their really “Republicans” WE ARE ALL AMERICANS AND REGARDLESS WHO IS IN THAT OFFICE SOON COMING…. WE ALL NEED TO SUPPORT HIM AND HIS APPOINTED STAFF. THEY CAN DO NOTHING WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF PEOPLE…. AND PEOPLE CAN DO NOTHING SETTING BACK AND COMPLAINING.

elizabeth is the only one on that show with some common sense.her views are different than everyone elses on that show so everyone hates her.thats how liberals are though,if you dont agree with them you are tore to pieces.go elizabeth and have fun touring with palin.and get off that stupid show,they wont have too much to talk about after the election.

i know why the view is for obama…because their audience is lazy people who dont work and they cant wait till obama “shares the wealth” with them.elizabeth has her own ideas and not ones instilled in her head from the media.

Elizabeth has never suffered in life at all, as compared to the others on the show. That’s why she’s so immature, ignorant, and obstinate.

To be on the View, you have to be accomplished, and qualified. She doesn’t hold a candle to any of the other 3 ladies. I don’t know what Barbara was thinking when she hired her.
