Jude Law is Dunhill Dapper
Jude Law is spotted out and about after leaving ex-wife Sadie Frost’s house in London on Wednesday.
The last two days, the 36-year-old English actor was seen filming a commercial for London-based fashion house, Dunhill.
Jude participated in the fashion shoot on the famous sand dunes of Ainsdale beach, near Southport. Check out the picture at LiverpoolDailyPost.co.uk.
Mr. Law has also been seen with a mystery brunette recently.

Jane B:
Welcome! You are like a breath of fresh air. I am so glad you are here. Keep posting!
Dear Jane B:
What is the difference between people who call celebrities with horrid names possible, or people who talks warmly and with love about celebrities? Are they both insane and delusional?
Then I choose the last one.
We - Jude’s fans - know exactly, that Jude is unreachable. He is up there, like a Sirius Star, the brightest Star ever for me, we admire him, we love him, and sometimes, just like what Sheryl said, talk trash about him. Because he is dang sexy.
Sandy “knows” a lot about him, because she has searched and collected a lot information about him. You don’t have to know a person “personally” to know about him. Even if you know somebody “personally” sometimes you just don’t know anything about him. That’s the point, we all think that we know someone. Do we really know them? Sometimes we don’t even know ourselves.
Jude is an actor (he hates to be called celebrity. Why I know that he hates that, because he says it , in one of his interviews). And he is a gentle and sensitive man (Why? Because he says some sentence, that can be interpreted that way).
He deserves to be admired in each and every special way. Because that’s what we are. Each and every one of us is a special person.
If we say what you might think “weird”, “bothered” or “disturbed” about Jude, it doesn;t mean that we are not safe to go outside and will “attack” every male living creature!
This is a gossip fan site, for a cry out loud! We can act a little bit crazy about a famous person.
And if you feel like you are being attack, because you think that you step some toes, may be it is wiser if you look where you are going!
@Elle, du brauchst nicht sich zu entschuldigen. Manche Leute brauchen harte Worte. Ich habe nie gedacht dass du das gemacht haben koenntest! Hehe, bravo, Maueschen!
Thank you Blackworm.
Sheryl - you got me wrong - I was speaking generally about the contrary comments, not about your comment, which was interesting and one of the few that seemed to pick up on my wavelength. I read it again and couldn’t see anything in it that would be regarded as rude! Was beginning to feel a bit like a fox in a hunt! Anyway, today is another day and for the record my comments were meant to be ‘tongue in cheek’ because as has been pointed out this sight is supposed to be for fun, but humour comes in many different forms Sometimes that can get lost in translation or just through the written media or maybe I just have a weird sense of humor - no-one is perfect! And as has also been pointed out - Jude is an actor - and therefore relies on a positive public persona, so he can be anyone he wants during interview. Can anyone really know an actor unless they really know him personally? Certainly he is under-rated as an actor - I think some of his choices haven’t showcased his real talent and in others, Ripley, Wilde, Sleuth (which by the way his acting was fantastic and displayed various sides of one character), also would have been a good training ground for Hamlet as it explored the themes of revenge, treachery etc. He’s passionate about his work and his projects I guess and so I think his performance in Hamlet will be particularly good. Disappointing that he keeps getting overlooked in the Oscar stakes. So you see, trying not be patronising, rude, contrary or insensitive!! But, it’s just no fun!
“If he read your comments and I mean 99% of them, he wouldn’t be flattered, he would think you’re all nuts - we don’t do gushy and definitely not psycho gushy.”
Sorry, you contradict yourself, Jane B….that’s not at all “tongue in cheek.” That’s a not-so-subtle affront on “99%” of poster comments, who are just having fun, as you assert in your post #78 being what we’re here for. So which is it? You still just come off as someone who came here wanting to ultimately claim that you stepped on a few toes, and very familiar at that, and not a breath of fresh air at all. And I’m not offended by any means by it…just sharing my own observation.
Jude is for the grown and sexy people.
I Love Him.
Thanks Jared .
So why Sheryl, if you are not bothered, are you still focusing on my alleged affrontery and analysing my posts? I don’t see anyone else’s comments being ‘analysed’. I finished my last post with some observations about Jude, which I thought this was what this site was about. Everyone can be contradictory. My first post was a purely personal reaction to some, but by no means all, of the comments and as the exchanges progressed and some reaction was engendered I moderated my tone and was a little mischievous admittedly, but I didn’t target any one person and slag them off as in calling them ‘rude and uninteresting’. My motivation to coming on the site was curiosity and to enter into a dialogue, not to ’step on toes’ that was a consequence not a motivation. Anyway, can we move on? In fact, thank you for spending the time in reading my comments - I am in the Jude Law camp (for want of a better phrase) and will continue to see his films and interviews, but this dialogue is over.
Anyway.. I think most of us like him quite a bit and would want to bother him if we ever did get lucky enough to see him in person.. I personally think I’d be to overwelmed that wouldn’t be able to say or do anything at all
Err. I meant that most of us wouldn’t want to bother him of course.. ;-)
Jane B, one doesn’t have to be bothered BY your comments nor engage in any in-depth analysis OF your comments to point out inconsistencies IN your comments…such as “My first post was a purely personal reaction to some, but by no means all, of the comments”……….except “99%” is way more than just “some”…
Just don’t insinuate yourself as the voice of sanity and reason when you can’t even get your own thoughts straight. And you certainly don’t have to tell me that the site is for fun…I’m always about the fun…nor that the site is for commenting on Jude…especially when you’re the one that came and diverted it from the fun, away from Jude, and onto your own feelings about the posters (and then want to turn it around as though the posters are attacking you).
I think I’ve seen you before.
my dear friends….don’t you think think enough time and effort has gone into this conversation….frankly i do understand where everybody’s coming from and i appreciate it…. but there is a hurricane in texas, there’s poverty and floods in haiti., people are starving. let’s put everything in it’s proper perspective…even jude wouldn’t like us arguing over him this much. after all he’s the ambassador for PEACE ONE DAY…….so let’s start early even’tho it’s not yet sept.21st….truce!!!!!
Agreed, Dolores. Let’s Dial it Down, people & get back to FUN!
Jane B had some interesting points, I thought. Shouldn’t we all be given the chance to express ourselves, even if what we say is unpopular? I hate to see a new poster sent off. Haven’t we had enough of that over at IMDb? Sheesh.
p.s. Hi Blackworm.
Hi purpleworm:
As usual, I agree with you. I think Jane B had some excellent points. And she should be allowed to express them. Others do not have to agree. But I hope Jane B has not left. I hope she continues to post her opinions here at JJ
Oh, good grief, not one single person has said that Jane B shouldn’t post what she wants. And I suspect nobody has been run off…and that she’s still here. If so, great…just quit playing people.
Anyway, all is well because MY TEAM WON TODAY!!! Woo-hoo!
Jude Law is HOT
“Posso não ser a maior fã, mas eu sei muito bem o que eu sinto por ele, e isso não vai mudar, pois para ser fã de verdade, não precisa ser desde o começo, mas tem que ir até o fim!” ♥
Jane B: You are English right???? Well, I’m French Canadian from Montreal. But I’m also fluently bilingual since birth.
How good is your English when you say: He don’t, He don’t , hmmm, it is :
He doesn’t
I do, I don’t ,
he does, he doesn’t
He doesn’t is the proper English, my dear.
If everyone in England is like you (snobby, arrogant and downright cold, and Grammer deficient to boot) , then I can say that I will be spending my bucks somewhere else. Paris instead. Alot more classy.
Yeah, the English are downright cold, with their stiff upper lip. Who needs that. The Hottest people on the planet are latin(french).
Well except for Jude that is. (Are you sure he’s a Brit????)
One last thing before I leave this site for good:
I sure hope you are not in charge of Jude’s fan club, cause in the end you would just about turn everyone against him.
Jude Law is a physically beautiful man with great intelligence and a gift for acting. He was born with that. That’s his.
However, without his fans what would happen. He would do these great projects and no one would show up to watch.
I doubt very much that Jude does all of this and doesn’t want anyone to admire it, except himself??? That’s silly.
I really don’t think you should speak for him. Example: He don’t like his fans, cause he don’t say it. (Why does he need to say it???)
.
Why should he? We know he does, why else would he be doing all those projects if there was no one else but himself to admire them? Just for the money, I don’t think so, he has too much passion.
The fact is, when actors out there are proclaiming constantly how much they are greatfull to their fans and how much they love them blah, blah, blah, that’s when you can smell the BS.
Jude Law probably doesn’t say he loves his fans, cause it’s obvious he does. Why would he need to say this, unless he’s insecure. That’s the reason I respect him and admire him. He doesn’t try to manipulate his fans with the typical Hollywood PR BS.
Anyway, I asked a simple question regarding the nightlife in London and the Groucho Club. Funny, I was told that since I’m Joe Public, forget about it. Hmmm, real funny. There are alot of Joe Public that are whealty and can definitely pay what is necessary.
Your arrogance is surreal. Hmm, might be cause the Pound is dropping like a rock against other currencies of the world and the value of housing in the UK is plummeting as much or more than the U.S.A. That some of your banks are going bankrupt (Northern Rock) and that your Oil Fields are also depleting. Which means England is getting poorer by the day, with everyone up to there eyeballs in debts.
I find you arrogant, and poor Jude to have you as a neighbooor.
I guess the real question is, why is Jude who is supposedly so whealthy living so close to Joe and Jane SixPack. That’s how we call the common folks here in North America.
I was commenting here regarding an actor that I admire and was asking questions regarding London, in case I decided to go there for vacation, maybe catching Hamlet (to see Jude in the flesh, instead of on screen), asking question re: the Groucho Club, where he hangs out.
I’m not a stalker. I was asking cause when you go to a new country it’s always good to know where the best places are. I’m a whealthy Canadian, so I would want to go to a whealthy part of London.
I felt like some of us were treated like we would stalk Jude in London. Maybe I’m wrong about that perception. But in the end, I don’t need this kind of stuff.
Hmmm, I’ll go to London if I want to whether Jane B likes it or not, but in the end, she probably represents what the English is all about. Alot of the English Celebs are downright nasty, we see them on the Canadian and U.S. Networks, they are certainly not any role model. Mostly ex alcoholics, rude and arrogant.
You know, Jane B, England should hold on to Jude Law, cause as I see it, you guys don’t have much to look forward too. Let’s see, I won’t name them, but there all drunks and drug addicts.
Jude is the best you have, you should cherish him.
Astalavista and take care everyone.
Don’t let this individual rain on your parade.
Sandra T (Montreal, Canada)
Thanks for the quick update on England Sandra T, i don’t think you should visit because you are very accurate in your discussion (we all have bad teeth as well) so your trip would only lead to disappointment. I suggest you spend your wealth elsewhere, Paris as you mentioned is lovely.
I think of a famous Canadian (Struggling) ummm……Celine Dion (boring) ah…..Pamela Anderson, she seems nice….
Now Jude Law….. seems like a pretty cool guy, has got the same jeans as me so i like him.
“I find you arrogant, and poor Jude to have you as a neighbooor.” [2]
Sorry, don’t want to be offensive, but you made me see how people can be soooo arrogant.
you talk as if you and jude were really best friends, brothers or something close to that .. are you?
For my humble people *
Sharing my dreams…
First thing i would do if i saw Jude? hmm .. let me think .. congratulate him for providing me with hours of entertainment .. so, i would tell this guy just how much time I’ve wasted on his addictive movies, and how much they’ve impacted my view on life .. then i could seduce him and make sweet sweet love to him. how perfect!!!!
♥
Wow, Sandra T. those are very interesting comments you make about England/The English and your own wealth. In fact I find YOUR post to be very rude and arrogant based on a couple of quotes I took from your post. Mind you these are not the only ones; just some of the more poignant comments:
“I’m a whealthy Canadian, so I would want to go to a whealthy part of London.”
“Alot of the English Celebs are downright nasty, we see them on the Canadian and U.S. Networks, they are certainly not any role model. Mostly ex alcoholics, rude and arrogant.”
“If everyone in England is like you (snobby, arrogant and downright cold, and Grammer deficient to boot) , then I can say that I will be spending my bucks somewhere else. Paris instead. Alot more classy.”
“You know, Jane B, England should hold on to Jude Law, cause as I see it, you guys don’t have much to look forward too. Let’s see, I won’t name them, but there all drunks and drug addicts. ”
“How good is your English when you say: He don’t, He don’t , hmmm, it is :
He doesn’t
I do, I don’t ,
he does, he doesn’t
He doesn’t is the proper English, my dear.”
For your information YOU have numerous spelling errors in your post, so I don’t think you should be commenting on someone else’s English and grammar. In fact no one here should comment on those things- it is irrelavant, but since you are so smug to call someone else out on this very subject, I feel it necessary to show that you are the pot calling the kettle black.
Hi, Mrs snobby, arrogant, nasty Brit here again!
Can I just say, for clarification, about the Groucho club that Jude frequents - about Joe Public not having any chance of getting in had nothing to do with money/wealth but to do with the membership procedure. You have to have two nominations on application which goes to a membership committee who decide whether or not to grant a person a membership. If you are lucky not to be blackballed, they will put you on the waiting list!! So,you see, unless you are a guest of a member, I am guessing that you could not just go to the door and obtain entry like any other club and Joe Public is not a derogatory term in England, it just means the general public and I shouldn’t think Jude had to worry himself with the membership procedure, it was probably a case of
Jude: “Can I join?”
Membership Secretary: “Absolutely - oooh we don’t need to worry about a little thing like completing forms - which night would you like to come?”
Thanks for the really nasty comments about my country (and Jude’s!) which I will put down to a hissy fit. I am sure a lot of Brits would agree we’re not having a great time right now, but we will turn things around I am sure. Meanwhile, does anyone know if Jude is making that film about King James? Great role for him. I think he will make a great James Bond too, being English ‘n’ all! Sorry - and all!
About the role as King James - who knows! I think it would be awesome if he did more costume roles (if that’s what they’re called). He does seem to have been away for quite a while - there was an article that claimed he shot scenes for the part in Greece. As for James Bond - I’d prefer him to play a villain personally. I also don’t think he would like to do the same role repeatedly but that’s just my impression obviously ;-)
When I think of all the time we’ve wasted fighting each other it’s too sad. and you know why? i just now realized that. and i just now realized that this conversation exceeded all limits, cause i’d love to do ‘friends’ here, and not enemies. i think all of us really should realize and take out from our conversation that we’re talking here about someone really fascinating and he deserves more, so much more from our minds. sorry again .. about my english.
test3
Jane b, It’s you who talk as though you know him. You say “His English psyche would make him totally uncomfortable with all that OTT deluded twaddle”. So you think you know what the English psyche is? That is laughable. You do sound like a rude arrogant biotch.
