Angelina Jolie: Changeling Trailer!
Check out the new trailer for Clint Eastwood’s new film, The Changeling, starring Angelina Jolie and John Malkovich.
Via Wiki: The film is set in 1920s Los Angeles and is based upon the Wineville Chicken Murders, an infamous kidnapping and murder case that occurred from 1928 through 1930 and received nationwide attention in the United States. When the son of Christine Collins (Jolie) is returned to her after being kidnapped, she suspects that the child is not her own. After being vilified as an unfit mother, Christine confronts the city authorities and corruption in the Los Angeles Police Department in order to find out the truth.
The Changeling opens on Friday, October 24. You can watch the HD trailer at Yahoo! Movies.

i watched BAR in the theatres today and i came to the conclusion that any actor could have played that part. he’s done! put a fork in him.

Life & Style is said to have had one of its worst-selling issues ever last week on the newsstand with a cover that featured Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes and Brad & Angelina.
And that is translating into some major shakeups
Donna Armstrong, who arrived as the new editor-in-chief only this summer, is said to be packing it in. She is pregnant and the word is that she doesn’t plan to come back after her maternity leave is up. But a company spokeswoman denied it, saying: “She plans to have her child and come back.”
No word on who her replacement might be.
Also, on Tuesday the magazine’s West Coast Editor Lee Hannon was fired. Hannon had been feuding with the home office ever since he felt they had bungled his scoop that Britney Spears would perform at the VMA awards.
She did in fact make it onto the stage, but Life & Style had spiked his story. Hannon, reached yesterday, declined to comment on any of the particulars, but said his dismissal was a “complete and total shock.”

Us Weekly took a drubbing for its Sarah Palin cover last week, but it was one of three celebrity magazines to turn its attention to the Republican Party’s vice presidential pick - and the more negative the headline, apparently the less positive the newsstand sell.
People’s Palin cover, with the relatively soft cover line, “Sarah Palin’s Family Drama” sold well above its usual weekly average of 1.45 million copies.
Sources estimate the sales were in the 1.75 million range on newsstands.
Us Weekly, which generated a lot of negative publicity for its cover, “Babies, Lies & Scandals,” had a so-so week. Depending on who is doing the guessing, it sold between 840,000 and 945,000. The numbers are estimates, but either way it did not do too badly on the newsstands. Its single-copy sales in the first half of the year averaged 869,364 per week.
OK!, which had a dual cover with Palin on the back and Barack Obama on the front, seemed to hit slightly above its first half average when it was selling 419,196 copies a week. Last week, it was estimated to have about 428,000 copies sold on newsstands

Affluent Prefer People to the Sunday ‘Times’
A report on the 2008 Mendelsohn Affluent Survey.

Affluent consumers are heavy readers of magazines and Internet users, compared to the rest of the population.
People magazine has the largest affluent audience, with more than 7 million affluent heads of household reading the magazine per issue—nearly triple the audience of the Sunday New York Times—while just 264,000 read the Robb Report.
This, according to the 2008 Mendelsohn Affluent Survey, the annual glimpse at the upscale segment of the American consumers, now in its 32nd year.
Mendelsohn focuses on the top portion of U.S. households, defining affluence based on income of $100,000 or more—about 20 percent of households in 2008, the firm says. The results were based on 13,522 respondents (they were paid either $5 or $10 cash for completed questionnaires.)
Although virtually all affluent households own and use computers and cell phones, just 40 percent use their cell/mobile devices to access the Internet, something that could be troubling for publishers pouring resources into mobile strategies.
Mendelsohn measured the audiences of 115 publications.
After People, Pace Communications claims the largest affluent audience (5.64 million per issue across its magazines) followed by National Geographic (5.33 million per issue, 6.87 million for all National Geographic titles), Sports Illustrated (4.54 million) and Time (4.37 million).

My hubby & I watch Burn After Reading today, the movie theater was packed & people loved it, & I love it too, the audience were laughing hard specially on Brad’s part, he is such a dork in the movie & he pulled it off. I won’t spoil you guys , you have to watch & enjoy the movie. Rated R because of the language & some sex scenes, Clooneys invention was hilarious. (rated R too lol)
