I think that with Changeling, her movies could pass the 1 Billion mark.
It’s hilarious to me how Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie are not permitted to have a sense of humor, or be sardonic, or goof people in interviews and have fun — it seems every single facking word out of their mouths is taken as heart-attack serious and devoid of all light-hearted fun, when the truth is, these are people who laugh a lot, joke around a lot, tease each other and like to have a damn good time with each other.
Brad was being funny and a little self-deprecating when he said he was surprised and disturbed at how easily he could become ‘Chad,’ and he jokingly said his “other half,” - Angelina, was too.
He continued on that theme, when he said in another interview, ‘it was the first time she hasn’t been sexually attracted to me.’
It’s jokes people — it’s all jokes…Brad will be here all week…ba-dum-dum.
Get a clue. lol

‘Burn’ edges ‘Tyler Perry’ on Friday
Coen bros’ film on top with $6.5 million
By ANTHONY D’ALESSANDROMore Articles:
The fall box office sprang to life in its second Friday as four wide bows aimed at adults took the top four spots, led by Ethan and Joel Coen’s “Burn After Reading” and “Tyler Perry’s The Family That Preys.”
“Burn After Reading” distributed by Focus Features and produced by Working Title, grossed $6.5 million in first place at 2,651 theaters while Lionsgate’s “Family” followed in second with $6.3 million from 2,070. In third, Overture’s cop thriller, “Righteous Kill,” marking the first on-screen pairing of thesps Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in 13 years, collected $5.7 million at 3,152 while Picturehouse’s “The Women,” an update of George Cukor’s 1939 classic film, generated $3.7 million from 2,962 in fourth.
Unlike last weekend when the only wide release “Bangkok Dangerous” clocked a three-day take of $7.8 million, this weekend’s wide releases should each reap higher hauls by Sunday. Nicolas Cage shoot-em up “Bangkok” charted outside the top five yesterday with $730,000, repping a 73% decline and an eight-day cume of $10.8 million.
“Burn After Reading” is on its way to becoming the top opener ever for both the Coens and Focus Features. The spy comedy headlining George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Frances McDormand and Tilda Swinton surpassed the Coens’ previous opening day record of $4.1 million posted by 2003’s “Intolerable Cruelty.” The Coens’ biggest opener to date remains “The Ladykillers” which bowed to $12.6 million in the spring of 2004.
“Burn After Reading” is the fourth wide release for the Coens. Typically their films, such as their previous title, Oscar best pic winner “No Country for Old Men,” are rolled out on a platform basis.
Among Perry’s top first days in the fall, “Family” slots behind the $7.4 million racked up by October’s “Why Did I Get Married?” which opened to $21.4 million. By Sunday, “Family’s” three-day B.O. should be just below “Married’s.” Back in March, Perry unspooled “Meet the Browns” which had an opening day and weekend of $8.1 million and $20 million respectively.
By Sunday, the opening for “Righteous Kill,” directed by Jon Avnet, could potentially match the total cume of the helmer’s previous R-rated Pacino cop thriller “88 Minutes” which finaled at $16.9 million back in the spring. “Righteous Kill” was produced and financed by Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films.
Sony’s “House Bunny,” was the only summer film to remain in the top five, coming in behind “Women” with $1.3 million on 2,763, a 24% dip and a total running cume of $39.2 million.
Among specialty releases, Slow Hand Cinema’s Americana doc “Proud American” made $34,000 yesterday from 750 sites. The Warner Independent film “Towelhead” helmed by Oscar winner Alan Ball and released through big Warner chalked up $16,000 from four locations in New York and Los Angeles. With a Friday theater average of $3,924, the drama is expected to have the highest per theater haul for the weekend.

Brad Pitt turns on the charm during the Burn After Reading premiere held at Roy Thomson Hall during the Toronto International Film Festival.
Shrieks erupt as he wades into the crowd to sign autographs. We’re told he won’t stop if it gets too crazy on the red carpet, and he starts moving quickly down the line.
“I love my job!” he says, smiling, noting all the excitement. I guess even a movie star never gets used to the nonstop attention, right?
His character in this crime comedy is a little off-the-wall. Is he like that in real life? “You see some remnants of home there,” he yuks.
And, working with George Clooney? “It’s always good fun.”
How’s the family? “All good,” he says, showing off pictures of the kids on his BlackBerry.
World-famous Brad doesn’t have all the answers, though. When asked what makes him laugh, he replies “Oh my God, really? That’s a little general for me.” Ouch!
John Malkovich takes a hit at Brad in the film.
“Three or four takes, I just ruined before we even got there because he’s such a sort of space cadet and nitwit in the film,” John says. “He’s very funny. But I have no desire to punch Brad Pitt. I’m very fond of him.”
Tilda Swinton gets a chuckle when a reporter calls the cast veterans. “I’m going to tell them that you called them veterans,” she says. “Spring chickens, I think they would prefer.”
Hm, what makes her laugh?
“If you’re properly trained up by brothers when you’re a child, you could say one word over and over again — tape recorder, tape recorder – over and over again and make me laugh,” the Oscar winner says.
Costar Richard Jenkins calls Brad a guy who is “very quick and likes to laugh.”
With that, Brad heads into the theater rubbing the shoulders of a woman who appears to be Frances McDormand.
“That’s really stylish – just walking straight in,” Tilda says. “She does it right.”

Brad and George Style
At Cipriani the morning of the opening was the triple-A list duo of the movie world: Brad Pitt and George Clooney. Brad was in his now-customary straw pork pie hat and a cream suit; George, impeccable in slacks and white shirt. Both looked nearer than anything we have had in a long time to old-style movie stars (I should know, as my father Peter Finch was just such a star and won the Golden Lion at Venice).
It’s been interesting to watch Brad’s wardrobe evolve. He’s moved away from the classic faded Levi’s of the Thelma and Louise years, when he was discovered by Ridley Scott and tended to look like a gorgeous surfer dude. I remember meeting him and thinking he had just stepped out of the Marlboro man ad, which is probably the image he subconsciously wanted to suggest at the time; the machismo must have suited him.
Now, though, I suspect the pork pie allows Brad more than just a stylish edge. It protects his face from the constant staring, softens his look, and lends him a quirkiness different from the screen Pitt of old. I also think the outfit has a hint of, “this is me in my private uniform. Leave me alone”.

“The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Other Jazz Age Stories” by F. Scott Fitzgerald (Penguin)
An original collection, hooked around the little-known story that, loosely, forms the basis of the new film by David Fincher starring Brad Pitt. Actually, any excuse for a new book by Fitzgerald is fine. He’s often overlooked as a short-story writer, although here are classics such as “Bernice Bobs Her Hair” and “The Diamond as Big as the Ritz.” Nothing Fitzgerald wrote, however, was without a sprinkling of magic dust. “Then it was all dark, and his white crib and the dim faces that moved above him and the warm sweet aroma of the milk, faded altogether from his mind,” is how he concludes the tale of Benjamin Button. That’s grace.

PT, how the hell am I supposed to know you refuse to see this movie when you crap your pants over all things brad pitt?
+++++++++++++++++
Uh, simple, dipshit - because you spend more time here than the rest of us combined and read everything I post. How you managed to miss my many anti-all-things-Porgie rants and comments about not seeing the Oceans flicks is beyond me. Sure, I like Brad. I like Angie. BUT…I dislike Porgie more. If Angie ever does a movie with the ****, I won’t see that one either.
BTW - Your rock is still calling you. I hope you got back before some moss grew in your place and you were left homeless.
…it’s too early in the day to be punching people in their p ussy…for cryin out loud…hahahahahahahaha

The TIFF ‘08 Cadillac People’s Choice Award goes to Slumm Dogg Millionaire.
I even spelled it wrong, just in case JJ had one of those odd word moderation things in place.
