Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has just been added to the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, which already includes American swimmer Michael Phelps!
The episode airs tomorrow Sept 13. @ 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC.
“The details of the sketch are still being worked out,” according to an Obama spokesperson who spoke with People magazine.
Obama made his first appearance on SNL during the Democratic primary in a sketch with Amy Poehler, who played Hilary Clinton.

Yes….absolutely. And why not? Nixon was on Laugh-In, George Bush Sr. was on SNL, so why not show the country that you’re willing to poke fun at yourself too. I can’t see where it can harm his campaign. In fact, it might help it….showing the people that he can be one of us regular folk too.

You know it’s amazing, as I sit here and read all of these comments, the only thing the palin supporters are saying is “you go girl” and “oh you democrats are just scared”.
