Live From New York - It’s Barack Obama!
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has just been added to the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, which already includes American swimmer Michael Phelps!
The episode airs tomorrow Sept 13. @ 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC.
“The details of the sketch are still being worked out,” according to an Obama spokesperson who spoke with People magazine.
Obama made his first appearance on SNL during the Democratic primary in a sketch with Amy Poehler, who played Hilary Clinton.

Words fail me. Almost.
First, we have Joe Biden encouraging a handicapped, wheelchair bound Chuck Graham to stand up for a crowd.
Then we have Obama’s Law Review Article, the only one he wrote, on the topic of abortion, where he says the state has an interest in ” preventing increasing numbers of children from being born in to lives of pain and despair.” Got that? If you are pregnant with a child with a possible birth defect, the state has an interest in you aborting it. So much for Trig Palin.
And now we have the latest ad from the Obama/Biden camp making fun of John McCain for not being able to use a computer or send email. Obama/Biden poke fun at McCain, suggesting he is old and doesn’t get the new technology.
One small problem.
John McCain’s hands were so severly crushed by his torture as a POW, he can’t use a keyboard. It is physically impossible for him. John McCain cannot brush his own hair or tie his own shoes. He is a brilliant man, but he cannot lift one of his arms higher than his elbow. Prior to being tortured and having his bones broken over and over, John McCain could fly jets. So let’s not pretend McCain is some doddering buffoon who doesn’t understand technology.
John McCain is handicapped.

Since you claim that Obama is “desperate”, then let me just say that McCain was desperate for female voters and picked Palin as a VP! The last time I checked, America was a free country. A country free of religious prosecution and a country where the freedom of speech is in the 1st amendment. So why is McCain/Palin trying to take the rights of the american people away? They are trying to force their religious beliefs on us, telling us who we can and can’t marry, telling us that we have no choice in decisions about OUR bodies (abortions), and deciding what should and shouldn’t be taught in schools. To me it seems more like a dictatorship than a democracy.

NO mamamia any Extremist is no good, that is the whole point. But the Religious right yells about Islamism being extreme and they do not see they are doing the same thing in the name of their GOD!!! Also, neither one of them has put religion into any government action - they can’t - this is not a theocracy. You may not agree with their religious views, but you don’t have to freak out over them. They aren’t trying to make you believe what they believe, and they can’t make it law.

Our forefathers’ religious beliefs were dominantly Christian, and sermons from both Old and New Testaments provided the foundation for the concept of a democracy and the right to overthrow a tyrant.
IT didn’t have to do with religious extremism. It had to do with having a tyrannical government tax your earnings heavily without giving you any representation in the government.
