Live From New York - It’s Barack Obama!
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has just been added to the season premiere of Saturday Night Live, which already includes American swimmer Michael Phelps!
The episode airs tomorrow Sept 13. @ 11:30PM ET/PT on NBC.
“The details of the sketch are still being worked out,” according to an Obama spokesperson who spoke with People magazine.
Obama made his first appearance on SNL during the Democratic primary in a sketch with Amy Poehler, who played Hilary Clinton.

The “Founding Fathers” of the USA, who were all Christians, understood the dangers of creating a “Christian” nation. That was one of the reasons there is no mention of God or Christianity in the USA Constitution, despite the religious zealots of the time insisting on such. They also understood that a secular government provides all religions freedom to practice — and those who don’t believe to NOT practice — whereas a religious government is only for those who follow that religion.
A growing number of people in the USA — many of them Christians — are disgusted by the activities of these right wing Christians extremists. What would Jesus do? Join the battle against extremists, so that the USA does not become a Christian version of Saudi Arabia.

Correct, but remember the new President appoints to the Supreme Court new judges and I think we have three seats open after this election?
mccain and palin do not like the abortion rights that are in place. mccain stated on the view that he felt they were unconstitutional. so you do not think he will look to appoint judges who will sway things to his way of thinking? did you not see bush doing this while he has been in office? Yes there will be an uproar of a lot of American people. but why not elect someone to office who respects peoples right of choice and not cause a fight with their religious beliefs and beliefs on anti abortion of any kind?

If you want to have a decent home to retire in make sure you vote for the right man. Look at Obamas grandmothers conditions - the poverty she lives in and he never tried to help her … What is really wrong with him? Does America know this African son?

Obama should have seen to his grandmothers poverty first (years ago) before he tried to clean up Americas back yard.
Why is his grandmother still living in such abject poverty if Obama is the hero he makes out to be?
It would have taken just a few of his American dollars to help her build a better shack
