Actually no they weren’t misinformation there and they were not in any of the pictures of the party. so that was again another fabricated release by Bilson’s press peoeple until a picture of them surfaces there it was rumor.

So RB is friends with his family so was Lucas daughters they are or were also friends with his family and possibly still are. it’s the nature of the business you do get to know people you work with as you are around them all the time for long periods of time. He already knew about the ring, maybe someone on his team warned him about it because the cartier ring has been subject to gossip in the last few weeks. I’m disappointed in Hayden’s good judgment concerning the women in his life (including S.M. who was even worse than Bilson IMO) and the movie parts he chose recently too, but what you do here is spitting out one torrent of hatred after the other. If it SHOULD be true though, I can almost understand the man, seeing that Alie seems to spend more time in Los Angeles and elsewhere than at home in Canada. Maybe SHE is the one not very interested in their marriage anymore? Again - just a guess, and none of my business. But David Christensen is the one member of the family I can still respect for staying out of public, especially when watching Alie and Kaylen hanging around with Bilson quite often. You really have no idea what some women are capable of, do you? I know women who have more than enough money themselves, and yet they always search for rich guys to live on their expense. Some women develop quite a (very questionable IMO) “talent” in doing that. As I said before, I’m not a man, I cannot answer your latter question. Go on IMDB and read some comments on Bilson. Some guys actually find her “hot”. Of course - they don’t really have to live with her and her stupidity. From afar many things look better. ;-)

As to the drug rumors: Just because a young guy is obviously lazy in taking care of himself with washing/dressing up, not that I would say that I find this okay, but he is not the only young man running around like that. This does not have anything to do with drugs though, maybe he’s really just THAT lazy. Considering that he spends three quarters of the year in the meanwhile making holidays although not even working I think he tends to be VERY lazy in general.

Its not unusual for actors to grow beards between movies just to avoid being recognized on the street. Wearing a cap and glasses can also help. I can’t even begin to imagine how annoying it would be to be gawked all day wherever I go.

Since he’s playing a cop (unless he’s under-cover), I’m fairly sure he’ll be clean shaven for this movie.

Hayden’s legs were always more than just skinny, he’s built this way. Ever watched “LAAH”? As I have never taken drugs myself or know an addict personally I cannot judge the “glassy eyes-theory”. His color was always pale. He’s Canadian, plus he smokes a lot (and eats too less obviously). He often looked “better” (more weight) after returning from a few months at home with his mum who is said to be a very good cook. But he doesn’t seem to be there often anymore… and RB surely doesn’t cook for him, no matter what she claims (or the results are not eatable).
And not everybody will be a very good shooter trying it for the very first time in his life I guess. Maybe he just needs glasses? Had the impression before that he tends to strain his eyes, also in other situations.

Principal photography hasn’t started on this film but I can already tell that it’s going to suck major a$$. Hayden hasn’t been in a movie since ROTS that hasn’t sucked on some level. He seems to have a gift for picking the ones that will make him look bad. Even Awake, which wasn’t a bad film just executed in the most incompetent way possible. The suprise was spoiled 10 seconds into the film and in the trailers before you even got into the theater, and so many technical errors in the surgical scenes that it ruined any possibility of believing any of it was really happening. VT was tasteless and idiotic, so bad it went right to video. This one might too. It has that look and feel ALREADY!!

Poor Hayden. I think he needs to give full-time farming serious consideration. He can’t suck at that as bad as he sucks at picking films to work on.

First off babel was a freaking flop. Sure it got praises at the emmys and all but as far as the box office goes I don’t even think that movie made it’s own low ass budget. @Sanity, the only reason people even come here is because they’re curious about, thinking about, caring (love or hate) about Hayden enough to consider what’s happening with him. All we have is what’s up here. If the only people that were allowed to comment on JJ were people that knew him personally, there would be no comments. Maybe that’s what you want. If that’s the case, good luck finding that space on the web. Maybe if you find a personal page from a friend or relative of his on MySpace or Facebook you can get what you’re looking for. Also there is trash on those accounts too. If you saw the link to this Lisa person’s MySpace account, then you know what kind of stuff finds its way on the web. That is FAR FAR FAR FAR more destructive in every way than anything on these comments could ever be.

This is a comment board on a gossip site. It’s put here for a reason, so people can give their opinion about something. And if you have a problem with people saying what they think, why are you coming here and contributing? It amazes me when people have a problem with others speculating on a gossip site. Really….when was this? I love how people make things up just because he’s not around to defend himself. If he ever did say that or even remotely close to it, I’m sure people have taken it to the extreme as they do with everything else.

i honestly do not remember how to look it up, it was in an interview, he said it to an interviewer, he said something to the effect that he fell either in love or a little bit in love, probably meaning to get into the part, i do not know what he meant, but he said it

there were plenty of rumors and pictures and videos to assume that he was definitely not indifferent to her, the way he practically stared at her in front of everyone, not just as a friend

guys i know love her and say that she is impossible not to fall for, so i find it believable, she is really pretty and smart

#301 Almost everyone heckles Hayden for SW, not just writers of articles. Hayden as bad actor is a punchline now, comedians use him when they want to be funny too. Some guy named Jay Laga’aia made fun of him bad at the SW CIV convention and everyone in the place laughed (big auditorium.) Thanks to Jumper and VT it will be for those too. I don’t know if he will ever do a good enough job on anything to get past AOTC.

#317 I heard Hayden used to have rep as totally professional, focused and very nice but not hearing that anymore. And if only sober movie stars fired even blanks on movie sets or on gun ranges Sam Jackson would never have made half his movies. Sam Jackson is well known ex-drug addict, in and out of rehab for a long time before he got sober. Many other stars also done films where they fired blanks on set but were junkies. So many actors in Hollywood have substance abuse problems that there would be no actors if you fired them all.

Sorry but have not heard even one good word about him from someone who has been around him or worked with him for the last year. You must discount Rachel Bilson’s statements because she is biased. Also Doug Liman’s opinion must be ignored because he is doing frantic a$$ covering for producing one of 2008’s biggest sci-fi turkeys.

I heard the guy has a huge drug problem and needs help bad. Hope he gets it. Hate to see him wind up like Heath Ledger.

Good name BTW it suits you, I was talking about a firing range using live ammo not about using blanks for a film role. If you know so much you would know from the video Hayden is using live rounds, and although his stance is a bit wrong he actually is not a bad shot.

He supposedly had his own project that his paper company FPP was doing but that’s down the toilet. I don’t know why his family can’t look up and see that he needs help too because he’s in free fall. Where is his brother? I know Hayden dissed him big time in print, saying FPP is all him (Hayden), only keeps him (Tove) around to keep the books (what books?), but blood is thicker than water. Hayden is a mess, going down fast.

#332, VOR: Read the Nylon article. Hayden said he only keeps Tove around do to the books for FPP. That’s dis, even if it’s true, makes him sound like he’s nothing. Whatever he is in FPP, Tove is a producer in his own right and doesn’t need Hayden for anything. Hayden’s brother and sister are not going to beat him up. It’s illegal and won’t help anyway. He’s a grown man, can do any stupid thing he wants. It seems like his mom’s heart is already broken but that had nothing to do with Hayden.

Tove is actually the CEO of FPP and has a Business Degree, Hayden is the creative one, when Hayden is not around Peter looks after the creative side. What do you think a Producer does? they look after the money, keep production within cost and schedule.

Nobody really knows what Hayden does when he is at the farm, but if the rumor is correct(which I doubt) Hayden should start doing a spears impersonation any day now. #344, Sanity you don’t seriously think papparazzis, who take photographs, even know how to read? Or if they do that they’re reading this? Face it, the fact that Hayden looks really bad and acts way different than he was is the best argument to watch for a drug story on him anyway. But he might not be worth the effort anymore. He’s doing bit parts now in second rate movies and lucky to get that much. Robert Downey was always thought to be talented while he was struggling with addiction and he was given second chances but people aren’t that sure about Hayden. He won’t get as much of a second chance since he pissed too many people off.

#346 It’s an ugly situation he has at home but don’t half of the people in this country come from broken homes and many of them have way worse situations than him? #352 SS could get funding if he really wanted to. He also has five projects in pre-production, one being filming and 2 announced. One project on the back burner doesn’t mean a shortage of funding for everyone. Films are still being made. SS might have decided not to pursue this one at this time and that’s why it’s being turntabled, not money issues.

From what I understand FPP had a first look contract with Bauer Martinez that was about $5MM. Nothing was ever done with it. I don’t think Hayden is that interested in doing his own films or it would happened by now. It’s been seven years. It didn’t take Natalie Portman that long to get one out. I also don’t understand why excuses are being made for this guy constantly.

#358. FPP dropped the ball because they had this first look contract and never did one thing with it. Check Variety, I believe there’s a mention that BoB’s director took another project so shooting, which was supposed to start in February, was indefinitely postponed. The option on the script expired at the end of May, also there was the SAG impending strike that slowed everything down that didn’t already have waivers. The option might have been renewed, I don’t know about that. At first it was listed here in IMDB that FPP was also planning to distribute, then this was dropped. I read also that FPP also made some kind of deal with a major studio to distribute a couple months ago. I didn’t read that they were also backing it financially, but I do know that financial backing on films is not forever. Theoretically, if the first director backed out another director could have been secured and shooting could have started anyway instead of being postponed.

What do you call it when a production company gets created to produce films, lands a first-look contract from a major house to finance them, and then produces nothing for 8 years for anybody or with anybody? I think you can say it’s missed opportunity at the very least.
