Hayden Christensen is a Shooting Range Rookie
A scruffy Hayden Christensen gets in some firearms practice at a shooting range in Santa Clarita Valley in Newhall, Southern California on Friday.
The 27-year-old actor took aim at Oak Tree Gun Club in preparation for his upcoming film Bone Deep.
The crime action film, out in 2009, also stars Paul Walker, Zoe Saldana, Johnathon Schaech, Chris Brown, Jay Hernandez and T.I. Bone Deep tells the story of a group of bank robbers finding their $20 million plan interrupted by a hard-boiled detective.

Hayden may have a prob w/selecting good movie projects, but that’s about it….puh-leeeeze! all this melodrama about drugs??? Sorry. don’t believe it.
Yah….he’s not looking too attractive in recent pix….he tends to play down the pretty when he’s not working. And his choice in movie projects has been in the sh7t-can for a while now…that’s not recent.
when i said ppl were b’ng mean spirited I was referring to the comments that someone post’d regarding his personal fam biz….it was malicious & totally mean spirited.
Spider/VOR: not fishing. Just look at him. Guy looks worse all the time, seems like he’s given up on everything if he took this job on BD. He supposedly had his own project that his paper company FPP was doing but that’s down the toilet. I don’t know why his family can’t look up and see that he needs help too because he’s in free fall. Where is his brother? I know Hayden dissed him big time in print, saying FPP is all him (Hayden), only keeps him (Tove) around to keep the books (what books?), but blood is thicker than water. Hayden is a mess, going down fast.

Can those that make accusations not understand that Hadyen does not have a drug problem, he has a huge family problem-that although I would like to defend and give reason to it–it’s private.
The peron who started it and has carried it over other boards has changed their name and come up with the whole drug thing, in order to gain attention.
Please can we just let it drop. Hayden needs our support not going on and on about a rumor some jealous fan started because she does not like someone.
I swear sometimes I wonder what the h e l l people are thinking when they type, it’s like a playground, but we all must understand the rules-Hayden will be with who he wants, Rachel will be with who she wants and not me nor you can change that.
So stop spreading rumors, because you are jealous, and you know who you are-because the basic fact-you are not going to get him and you make the rest of us look bad.
I don’t have a problem with Rachel, think she is a nice 27 yr old with very good qualities, IF the relationship is still on wish them the best.
If Hayden has moved on, hope he finds the one to steal his heart,think he will settle for a Canadian girl. Home is where your heart is.

Thx for your comments. It’s nice to see that someone is willing to speak in his defense, rather than malign him & accuse him of being some sad cokehead, which couldn’t be further frm the truth.

I hope that the rumors of a drug problem are just rumors. It would be a shame.
Maybe this film will work in his benefit. Even if the part is smaller than the leading man. He does have potential to use this as a spring board to a better choice of roles. I think he is still trying to find his place as an actor.
Family problems should be kept private.

Hayden obviously has some kind of massive problem. Guy looks awful, like he just crawled out from under a rock. Drug problem makes sense. He certainly looks like it.

@331 the problem with family is known over the net, it has NOTHING to do wih drugs, nor any alleged interview when Hayden dished his brother–in fact they are very close. I have not mentioned what the problem is, other than to say it’s private, so as such have disclosed nothing on an open board.
Hayden on drugs? His older Brother and older Sister, would beat the(insert word here) out of him, not to mention the hurt it would cause his Mum. If you know anything about Hayden, you should know that he would do nothing to hurt her.

#332, VOR: Read the Nylon article. Hayden said he only keeps Tove around do to the books for FPP. That’s dis, even if it’s true, makes him sound like he’s nothing. Whatever he is in FPP, Tove is a producer in his own right and doesn’t need Hayden for anything. Hayden’s brother and sister are not going to beat him up. It’s illegal and won’t help anyway. He’s a grown man, can do any stupid thing he wants. It seems like his mom’s heart is already broken but that had nothing to do with Hayden.

@333 that’s your thoughts on the article, and yes I have read it. Tove is actually the CEO of FPP and has a Business Degree, Hayden is the creative one, when Hayden is not around Peter looks after the creative side. What do you think a Producer does? they look after the money, keep production within cost and schedule.
And as for any reported huge drug problem, Older siblings would step in. Nobody really knows what Hayden does when he is at the farm, but if the rumor is correct(which I doubt) Hayden should start doing a spears impersonation any day now. Bet the gossip rags would love that-can see the headline “Darth does drugs” LOL
The whole drug thing was started because someone felt let down that Hayden was not shaving, not walking around 24/7 with a smile on his face and my god could actually be dating someone.

#335 VOR I didn’t say that Tove couldn’t manage and doesn’t manage as a producer. I know what a producer does. I said that there is nothing coming out from FPP and nothing has come out since SG, no books to balance because nothing is happening, and its crappy of Hayden to disrespect his brother’s contribution to the company in public in print no matter what it is or how little FPP is doing. He doesn’t have to say anything about FPP and maybe the less said about it the better. I don’t know who Pete is, but since FPP is doing nothing, I don’t think anything creative is going on that Pete is working on in Hayden’s absence.
How do you know what Hayden’s older siblings would do? Do you know them? Don’t they have their own lives? Don’t you know that you can’t help someone with a problem unless they want to be helped?
I don’t know why you think everything comes down to people being upset or angry or jealous when anyone expresses a comment about Hayden that isn’t something like how beautiful he was or how talented he was or something like that. Four flops in three years isn’t an indication of talent except at failure to pick roles he can actually do.
I heard drugs turned him into a complete a**h**** to everyone now. Other actors, crew, everyone. Real d*******. Very sad, career pretty much over.

@336 you are now showing how stupid you are, you want to make a comment about FPP but don’t know who Peter is? He is the second in charge when Hayden is not in town. Peter backs down and becomes third in charge when Hayden is around.
Afterall Hayden and Tove do run the company, but Hayden cannot always be there.
FPP has been going for 7 years, they make mostly commercial material for a foreign market-h e l l Steven Spielberg can’t get money for a movie how do you think an Indie company would do better.?
You keep asking about the “reported, on the net” drug problem, and yes I do know something about it, in real life, and I just don’t see it in Hayden, I can imagine he has smoked some green stuff but to use the term(not you BTW(insert sarcastic smile here)) Cocaine and Heroin is a huge accusation, without proof.
If Hayden was doing that he would be caught, he travells all over the world, with sniffer dogs and Police with no tolerance to drugs.
You are going to be very hard pressed to get me to believe a rumor.

These last posts sound like Kindergarten to me, sorry. “You said this…” - “You are stupid because…” and so on… This leads nowhere.
Your defense of Hayden’s reputation in all esteem, VOR, you fight for him like a lion’s mother, but where is he to support you (and his other fans)? Even if you like Hayden (like I do too), there is never a word coming from his side. So if he obviously does not care what rumors are spread about him, why should we? Is this our job or what?
The guy has gone into hiding once again, and what worries me is that there are no pictures of him on set of “Bone Deep” are out yet. On earlier projects always some pics were posted in that period of time. So is he there working on a movie again or not? As the result of this work is the only thing we fans will get to see of him.
Let’s face it: The only sure thing is that we know absolutely nothing about Hayden and what kind of life he leads right now. Even having him observed for many years does not help in the slightest, as he seems to have gone through many, many changes during the past two years, and this could have ANY reason.
So everything going on here is just guessing, accusing, claiming, spreading rumors or repeating what somebody has heard of somebody (of course never naming a reliable source).
None of us knows Hayden or his family personally, and the people who do probably will never post here (hopefully). Tove has disappeared out of public long ago, and there are no news about him or FPP. In fact we do not even know if this company still exists. Whatever Hayden might have said about his brother was published in print only - which could have been changed by the magazine easily. So to me - just another rumor.
It’s nice we all worry about Hayden and do care. If he would care a little too himself he could/would easily be aware of that. Obviously he doesn’t, as otherwise a reply from his side would have come at least, a little info that he is looking forward to work on this new movie - like most other actors do in such a situation. Or he would hire some PR-people and/or attorneys to get rid of those drug rumors, but they remain on boards over many weeks. Hayden never gave much on public opinions, so maybe he is somewhere just living his life or he is in trouble. Fact is, we don’t know and cannot do anything about it.
Im with you VOR. Just because someone doesnt shave and doesnt smile 24/7 doesnt mean they do drugs…LOL.
I tried to make that point but people choose to believe what they want. Think about it, most the gals on here are quite young/teens whom you cant necessarily have a discussion with because gossip magazines are like the holy grail. Not all are like that. there are some mature peeps on here =)
Please support Hayden, if you feel he has some “issues” whatever they may be, then pray for him or stand by his side rather then turn and bash him and his family.
I can understand bashing people like lindsey hoe-han, paris, not so much spears though, seems she is making a turn around which is good, all the best to her. What im saying is some celebs ask for it by their behaviors and attitudes and put themselves out there to be bashed. Hayden does no such thing! i bet he’s a really good guy. If there are fmaily issues, it wasnt him who brought this about, gosh, please stop bashing.
Im not concerned about a drug problem, i dont think thats the issue. He may have a family issue and honestly im not too fond of rachel if they are together. They just dont seem right for each other, but hey the man can choose who he wants be it a fellow celeb or just an ordinary down to earth gal. As long as he is happy, i support him, if he isnt, i wish i could help but all i can do is pray.
Maybe he got fired from BD since there are no pictures and no news coming from the set.
Spielberg can’t get money? That’s so ridiculous to say, his good friend is George Lucas and George has plenty of it, also SS has several projects he’s producing right now. FPP if it was ever anything but paper can’t get money now because it isn’t worth anything with Hayden’s career in the toilet. Was supposed to do a film earlier this year but director pulled out now I hear funding evaporated.
Very bad situation for him now. Hope he can put himself back together.

Im not saying you cant say what you want, if you think he has a problem say it in a way that isnt out-right accusational like “he IS on drugs”

#344, Sanity you don’t seriously think papparazzis, who take photographs, even know how to read? Or if they do that they’re reading this? Face it, the fact that Hayden looks really bad and acts way different than he was is the best argument to watch for a drug story on him anyway. But he might not be worth the effort anymore. He’s doing bit parts now in second rate movies and lucky to get that much. Robert Downey was always thought to be talented while he was struggling with addiction and he was given second chances but people aren’t that sure about Hayden. He won’t get as much of a second chance since he pissed too many people off.

i just dont understand how people are so convinced of something due to how he looks. personally he seems to have changed on this downward spiral since he got with rachel. maybe he has problems with her? or if this stuff is true about his family…thats enough to seriously stress someone out! and look bad, especially if youre close to your family and have a demanding job like he has. I just hate to jump to conclusions especially based on superficiality.
someone could easily claim he is depressed. he shows the signs. but people are quick to judge and claim drug abuse. Ok, say he is on drugs, are you going to turn on him? bash him?

#346 It’s an ugly situation he has at home but don’t half of the people in this country come from broken homes and many of them have way worse situations than him? Yeah, it’s painful & he’s probably depressed but he’s been looking and performing bad for 2 years now. The stuff with his family hit the fan a couple months ago. It’s clear he doesn’t give a **** about his fans because he was lying to them or deliberately deceiving them for 2 years now and blows off appearances for no reason. I agree that RB was the worst thing that ever happened to him.
I used to think he was really a good guy and had good potential but he’s pretty much pissed it away.
