It’s very nice for Brad and Angelina on their continuing humanitarian efforts to help less fortunate people, specially to those places that don,t have much help coming from their own country.

Ah yes…the trolls have invaded with a vengence since yesterday!

So I have a few remarks:

1) For those of you who think “the truth will come out”

You have been saying that same crap for years and you will still be saying it years from now.
Primarily because the truth is already out -
Brad and Angelina are a couple devoted to each other and to their children.
Their lives has meaning and purpose. they have proven this through their actions.
They are dedicated to making the world a better place for people who cannot help themselves. People, for whatever reason that are not valued.

2) Why do they have their own charity?

So they know that the money goes to exactly where it is supposed to go.
There have been countless scandals in charitible orginizations where the people in the Administration were getting rich diverting funds mean’t for victims and underserved populations.
The United Way, The Red Cross and Jerry Lewis’ Muscular Dystrophy Organization all come to mind.
This is not to say that these are bad organizations as a whole, but at different times they have all had people getting caught with their hands in the cookie jar.
The administrative costs of the Jolie-Pitt foundation are reported publicly and they are minimal.
Let us also not forget that Brad and Angelina are rich through their own work, They are not required to give their money away and they are not required to work on behalf of others.
Plenty of wealthy people do nothing. Or if they are stars, they smile and go on TV to make a convincing argument about why the public should donate money without ever giving any themselves.
Brad and Angelina have been onsite, behind the scenes working at ground level in all their projects.

3) Why can’t they donate their money to American charities?

They have and they do. However this type of devisive, narrow thinking, that a person is less than a person because they are not American is the same kind of elitest thinking that has made genocide acceptable around the world at different times. It is okay to let people starve, to die painfuly and needlessly, to stand by and do nothing, because they are not “us”.

4) Why should Angelina be happy when she ruined JA’s life?

She didn’t ruin her life. Divorce happens and it is always sad when it does because the gap between the dream and the reality are apparent.
No woman can steal a man from a happy relationship. People grow and change and sometimes they grow apart.
JA has been more famous than she ever was before because she is constantly seen on the cover of tabloids and magazines as the “underdog”. She is constantly seen as an object needing pity and encouragement.
Her career has been successful but not particularly noteworthy, in terms of critical aclaim and yet even when she is not involved in any project, every time Brad and Angelina walk down the street, Aniston is mentioned in the article.
Do you really think this woman who has had several different relationships since Brad, is pining away still? Do you really think she wants to live the rest of her life as being “The ex-wife of Brad Pitt”?

There is no other star, Uma Thurman, Reese Witherspoon, Halle Berry, Jennifer Lopez, Julia Roberts, Shania Twain, etc. who has parlayed splitting up or getting divorced into the ongoing drama JA has. Were it not for that, she would not even be in the news.
She is rich with enough money to go where ever she wants, do whatever she wants and be with whoever she wants, if she really is still as hung up on the divorce as you present her to be, then she has serious mental health issues. Big deal. So she sees him all the time in his happiness.
You don’t think millions of ex-wives who had children, have to stay in contact with their ex and see them move on and be happy with someone else?
These rumors continue to abound, not because they are true, but because JA WANTS them to. It keeps her in the news.
Every one Angie has met, Everyone she has ever been involved with has nothing but good things to say about her. They all have a conspiracy?
BBT immediately corrected the story that quoted him as saying unflattering things about Angie. He did so in several respected publications.
JA could squash this if she wanted to. She has enough star power to do so. She doesn’t….I wonder why? She gave one interview putting herself in the victim role and she has yet to give an interview taking herself out of the victim role. So she must benefit.

4) Angie is a drug addict.
Angie had a wild past. She was and has always been candid.
Several people who experimented with or used drugs on a recreational basis that wouldn’t touch them now. Several people that went through periods in their life where they used them heavily that would not touch them now.

I know you will keep dragging up the same old stories, “proofs” and crap because you want to see this family in an ugly light. That is simply your problem and has no basis in fact!

…pitt is no more the box office draw to this movie than he was for jesse james…everyone in the ensemble has fans, even the directors especially for the movie before this one…and the story is interesting…not everyone see movies because of one actor…fantasy…haha
