OlderBrad & Angelina Open HIV/AIDS Clinic in Ethiopia
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are continuing to help kids around the world, helping those who have been affected by tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS
The Jolie-Pitt Foundation just donated $2 million to the Global Health Committee to plant a help center in Ethiopia, which will be named after their daughter Zahara (she was adopted from Ethiopia).
The center will be modeled after Maddox Chivan Children’s Center in Cambodia (named after their oldest son), where children receive medical, education and social services.
“Our goal is to transfer the success we have had in Cambodia to Ethiopia where people are needlessly dying of tuberculosis, a curable disease, and HIV/AIDS, a treatable disease,” Jolie said in a statement to People.
Added Pitt, “It is our hope when Zahara is older she will take responsibility of the clinic and continue its mission. The fact that poor people continue to die in our world today of TB, a curable disease, because of lack of access to drugs and care is unacceptable.”

Good for them. I always PAY to go see their movies as they use their profits for good. I pray they don’t endorse either Obama or McCain. I hate it when the celebs endorse those running for office. I will not go see another film eith Jennifer Garner or Matt Damon as I disrespect the hate they have blasted Palin with.
Brad and Angie lead by example. A couple month ago they gave 1 million each for Us military children and Iraq children. Now this? It is very thoughtfull of them. As half african myself who was born and lived in west africa till age 21 ,I know how hard TB and AIDS are to manage in most developing countires because of the lack of means.
…yes, let’s help the poor people in the appalachin mountains who prefer to drink granny’s moonshine and jethro is the smartest one in the whole bunch cause he went to 5th grade …yep, let’s…hahahahahhaha

America has the best resources and medical doctors. U.S. is much richer than Ethiophia. Ethiophia isa poor country and there aren’t that many good doctors or medical supplies to treat the sick. if they do, is not as good as the U.S. That’s is why Ethiophia needs help and thank god people like angie, brad, and some of the celebs are doing something. No matter what, US is still better than underdevelop countries.

Zahara wasn’t born in the United States and are you aware America encompassed a rather large land mass that the US of A is rather a miniscule part of same?
Also, please keep in mind that the Pineridge Reservation, New Orleans and many. many suffers ofovarian, cervical and brest cancer are in the US of A .

This is just one of the reasons I admire and respect Brad and Angie. They put their money to good use and they are giving their children the opportunities to continue those good works in the future. Children need to be taught by example how to be “good” people and Brad and Angie are setting wonderful examples for their children.
