I just hope that by the time Zahara is grown up that Ethiopia’s political, and social situation will improve 100% than it is now. The world needs to keep their eyes peeled for “negative outside forces” trying to come into that country.

Ethiopia, Somalia and Eritrea are very vulnerable to the “outside forces”. I pray that if these outside forces gain momentum that the US and other countries “freak out” over the supposed Russian invasion of Georgia. The President and Secretary of State went on and on about the Russia/Georgia situation. I hope there is as much “outrage” if the “outside forces” continue to invade the horn of Africa. Maybe having a President who is half Kenyan will help some of the less fortunate in the most devastated & vulnerable African countries.

In the meantime it’s a blessing that so many individuals like Bill Gates, Brad, Angelina, Oprah, Clooney, Damon, Cheadle and thousands of unknowns, are doing their part .

People act as if countries are immune from others’ disasters, and that it won’t reach them or affect them in any way (economically, financially, environmentally, geopolitically, ect…) !

The world is a small village and it is TRUER when it comes down to desease and poverty. HIV doesn’t stop at your physical bordlines. Poverty makes people flee for a better life in other countries. In the longterm it will destabilise the equilibrium of the world while letting large portions vulnerable and under outlaw forces to loot materials for weapons of mass destructions, use the ecological richness and natural resources to blackmail, ect….

Just like in the Congo where a few years ago, the Americans had to intervene and weigh their forces to control the Mokobola mines in the Katanga area where the richest, purest uranium of the world, the one that was used for Hiroshima and Nagasaki A bombs was let open to traffic and arrived to different terrorist groups in small quantities so far because the national government is too poor to have the means necessary to control it.

The world is like body parts, if you let a wound in one part, it will spread like a cancer. And when it ‘’s down to HIV, it is even more true !

Wether you fight it in Ethiopia or the in the US, it is the same body you are treating. And it needs to be treated ASAP with any means necessary by anyone, at each one level, cause we are all concern, we are all vulnerable and are all part of that SAME body !

Good point about the Georgia and Russia conflict considering it was Georgia who delared war on Russia. WTF? I woke up to news on the tv that Georgia had delared war on Russia. Not the other way around. It was all over the papers and the news. Then that country got scared and realized what it just did, Then they ran to the US pulling out the big bad Russia attacked me card. Bush fell for it and it was one last ditch effort to make him seem relavent. Please.

I thought some LOSIE’s were predicted that BAR would tank at the bo. and that Righteous kill and Tyler Perry would crash (and presumably crush) BAR. It didn’t happen obviously.

Considering that O brother where art thou openned at 3.65 million and Intolerable cruelty opened at 12.5m I guess the 19.5m can’t be all attributed to Porgie. And considering that Fargo opened at 2.5m and Raising Arizona opened at 2.5m as well, I guess Frances Mcdormand, though I do like her isn’t the reason for BAR getting 19.5m (or close) for this opening weekend.

I wonder whether, perhaps, it is just possible, may be, that the movie BAR has done so well because, just may be, possibly, perhaps, could be due to Brad Pitt’s presence in the movie. His performance was after all, well received and well, he rather famous eh??

Incidentally, Intolerable Cruelty did 120m world wide. I think I stick to my earlier projections that BAR will do around 100m at least, world wide, thanks in large part to Brad Pitt.

Nice that Brad and Angelina want Z to be involved in her country and quite right, but what if Z rebels against it?

Oh, they also work together in hit movies. And now maybe the fourth time will be the charm for Hollywood’s most lasting bromance.

Pals George Clooney and Brad Pitt star for the Coen brothers in the new film “Burn After Reading.” They’re easygoing actors, hardly burned by an impudent question.

Will Clooney have a brood of kids like the Jolie-Pitts? “I’m shocked that this has come up again,” he says. “Actually, I’m going to get married and have a child today.”

If so, he can ask his famed friend for a little diapering advice. Besides his four other children, Pitt now is the parent of nine-week-old twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline. “I want an entire soccer team,” he jokes.

Between 4 a.m. feedings, Pitt, 44, also makes time for movies including “Burn After Reading,” directed by the Coen brothers, who are on top of the A list after their Oscar win last year for “No Country for Old Men.”

In “Burn After Reading,” the memoir of an ousted CIA operative (John Malkovich) mistakenly is found by two dolty gym employees (Pitt and Frances McDormand) who decide to exploit what’s in their sweaty hands. Can you say extortion? Tilda Swinton is Malkovich’s wife, while George Clooney is her lover.

The film was a chance for friends and “Ocean’s Eleven” co-stars Pitt and Clooney to take your bud to work.
