Brad & Angelina: Most Powerful Pair On The Planet
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have topped the Hollywood power league, according to the Guinness World Records. The power couple was judged from a combination of Internet searches, press stories and earnings.
Though Brad & Angie may be the most powerful, Britney Spears is still the most searched person on the Internet.
In weekend box office office news, Brad’s latest screwball spy comedy, Burn After Reading, opened at No. 1 with an estimated $19.4 million.
The Oscar-winning filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen directed the movie, which also stars George Clooney John Malkovich.

They look so scrumptious in the picture above from the Mighty Heart photo call last year…..they were deliciously sexy and classy both at the same time…
I am constantly inspired by what Brad and Angie continue to do philanthropicly…..they were DEFINITELY meant and
DESTINED to be together…..they are good for the world, and set a good example of what celebrities can do with their media coverage.
I would love for them to talk about when they first heard about each others work in the business…..If Angie ever saw FIGHT CLUB, and if Brad was aware of Angie after she won the oscar for Girl Interupted. Did Brad ever see Girl Interupted? He probably viewed some of her movies after he divorced whats her name and drooled over some of her other roles. Angie MUST have seen LEGENDS OF THE FALL, right?…
Anyway, I hope they someday talk about that….though I know that the haters will find some way of making it seem that they are slighting his ex-wife in some way if they discuss being aware of each other before they were together. I am soooo glad they did Mr & Mrs Smith together!!!
Brads movie BAR is great! I saw it twice, and I think Brads character ‘Chad’ was simply adorable. Brad was hilarious in the car with Malcovitch, and the expressions he makes when he is in the closet is adorable. Quite a shocking scene.

LOL exactly, the loonifers always with the same bs, I think they don’t even like X anymore, I bet the hater-fans know more about the J-P than the real fans…
I posted this on the previous thread a long with some other comments. I wonder if you had seen it? If so what do think, agree, disagree?
Piper with a low that is a good point. What seemed strange to me was that he was the only one without a sexual involvement of any kind. The gym manager wanted one with Francis’ character. But Chad didn’t seem interested in anything other than exercising and helping his friend. And he didn’t seem gay. He was really child like in a way. Peace
Hi vickifromtexas, a cadre of us JP fans were going to confront Ike and rescue our vickifromtexas from whatever so glad you showed up, :) I am fine and going to go away for tonight, (watching Iron Chef America at 9 pm) full moon tonight I feel like posting and hanging out, don’t want to get angry with my PC, so I will leave her be for tonight :) I will come back Monday after 5, hopefully it will be fixed (the bandwidth business). Hi to Dina#1, felinelilly, anustin, alia, Neleh how was the movie? maybe you already told us and I have not seen your review. Good night fans enjoy the rest of the evening. They’re doing wrap-up analyzing of TIFF, and saying that this festival was considerably less energized and influential as TIFF of old — I found the article interesting.
One of the complaints and what was seen as detrimental, was other festivals like Venice playing too close to Toronto and stealing their thunder, another criticism was that TO failed this year to get more Oscar contenders - films that were mentioned? Clint Eastwood’s The Changeling.
Excerpt:
But a discernable amount of energy was missing from the fest this year. Many of the films that drew attention and praise – The Wrestler, The Hurt Locker and Slumdog Millionaire among them – arrived with laurels already bestowed at the Venice and Telluride festivals. I can’t think of a single world premiere that really mattered at TIFF this year. The fest seemed like a giant second-run theatre.
When organizers meet for their annual post mortem, I hope they spend some serious time discussing how to embrace change without abandoning tradition.
I’d like to offer a few suggestions:
1) Stop letting other festivals steal Toronto’s thunder. Venice is bumping into TIFF’s time next year. New York is getting Clint Eastwood’s Changeling and the Palme d’Or winner The Class. London has locked in Olive Stone’s W., Frost/Nixon and the new James Bond film. We have to cease being so Canadian and demand more world preems and Oscar contenders;

Me? I blame silly, very obviously overhyped fare, that had no business at TIFF, namely Jennifer Aniston and her piece of crap.
aarrrgh!!!! its great also for the faniston.and im lovin it!
waving to grandma irma, senior, real tita, vicky ate char!got my reply?
Hi everybody!!.
Brad and Angie are the most amazing, compassionate and adorable couple of the planet.
I love and admire them more everyday. God bless A&B and their lovelyd kids.
Thanks so much for re-posting my thoughts about Burn After Reading on the last thread….
(possible spoiler ahead…)
…I was not too familiar with Cohen Brothers movies, but based on BAR, they mix comedy and brutality in a way that very few film makers are able to do.
…one moment I was laughing, the next minute I was seeing a scene that was somewhat sad. Even the funny scenes have an element of sadness to them.
I think the movie makes several comments about our society…
- our obsession with the way we look.
- our obsession with obtaining money at any cost.
- our distrust of each other.
-our hypocracy in marriage/divorce and our insensitivity with one another.
-our obsession with outer ‘fitness’.
-the pitfalls of internet dating.
-the callousness and duplicity of the people in our government….etc.
Brad played the character ‘Chad’ with brilliance……and for such a small role, he really made the most of it, and displayed a myriad of character gems we could be entertained from…
The scene where he is in the car with Mr. Cox is hillarious, and his expressions are priceless!….as his character squints his eyes and tries, but fails, to appear menacing and mysterious…..its very funny…LOL!
The scene where he is sipping on the drink….so adorable.
The scene where he’s hiding in the closet, and finally gets found out by george Clooney’s character…..Chads look of surprise, innocents, and horror, all in a matter of seconds… was truly brilliant. Its very shocking what happens and kinda sad.
I put this up there with yet another one of Brad MEMORABLE CHARACTERS!
xoxoBRAD&ANGIE&KIDS!!
Angie and Brad are the best!!
22nd try…

Finishing third in the latest frame was Universal’s action thriller “Wanted” with an estimated $8.2 million from 1,802 theaters in 34 markets for a cume of $158.5 million. The Angelina Jolie-James McAvoy starrer launched at No. 1 in Spain with an estimated $3.4 million at 367 dates and in the Netherlands with $685,000 from 96 theaters.
yay way to go
Wanted should be reaching 300 million soon. Burn after reading was funny esp. Chad. The theater was packed when I saw it yesterday.
I love this couple and they are wonderful for all the charitable things they do
YES, YES, YES, YEEEEEEES, ALWAYS. THEY WILL BE FOREVER AND EVER THE POWER COUPLE OF THE WORLD.
THEY ARE AMAZING. I LOVE THEM EVER.

awwww I like Ben and Jen and little Violet. I have for years. The only time I didn’t like Ben was when he was engaged to J-Lo, because I am not a big J-Lo fan, don’t get me wrong I don’t hate her or anything, just not a big fan.
Did you every see him in the Jimmy Kimmel/Ben Affleck video? Where he played the delivery man?
Or the “interview” Brad and GC did about Matt Damon? So funny, I think thats why I like them all they all seem to have great senses of humor and to not take themselves to seriously.
