No, no, Leo. It’s the Laura Dern who stole BBT from his 4th wife, got dumped by BBT and promptly ran off with the husband of a pregnant woman and got knocked up by him BEFORE his wife gave birth and BEFORE his divorce was final and then married him.

Let’s give credit where credit is due. We wouldn’t want Laura to not be slighted on her achievements. Not a whole lot of women can “steal” 2 married men without the space of 2 years. That’s talent!

The “packed schedule” at TIFF referred to her many meetings with her dealer. Scoring coke or weed is tiring! Just think of all the ratzi she had to evade. Oh wait…she’d just send Huvane to pick up her supply…my bad. Her “packed schedule” must’ve been all the phone calls she made trying to find out where Brad was so she could accidentally run into him. Brad Pitt donating $100,000 to fight gay marriage ban

Brad Pitt announced Wednesday that he’s donating $100,000 to fight California’s Proposition 8, a November ballot initiative that would eliminate same-sex couples’ right to marry.

“Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” the actor said in a statement.

Pitt’s donation marks the largest thus far to the anti-Prop. 8 campaign by an A-list celebrity.

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actor Ryan O’Neal and his son, Redmond, were arrested and charged with possessing methamphetamine on Wednesday following a search of their home, officials said.

They were taken into custody at their home in Malibu after a predawn check by officers, said Sgt. Diane Hecht, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

The sweep of the home stemmed from a probation case involving Redmond O’Neal, 23, said Kerri Webb, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County Probation Department.

Redmond O’Neal pleaded guilty in June to driving under the influence and possession of heroin and methamphetamine, said Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office. He avoided time in prison in exchange for starting a drug treatment program and was sentenced to three years’ probation.

Ryan O’Neal and his son were booked on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, methamphetamine, and released on $10,000 bail each, authorities said.

Brad Pitt has donated $100,000 to the campaign to defeat Proposition 8, the California ballot initiative that would ban same-sex marriage in the state.
**Pitt’s contribution comes as fund-raising to defeat the measure lags behind that of supporters, even as polls suggest that the proposition will have a tough time of passage.******

“Because no one has the right to deny another their life even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another, and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” Pitt said in a statement.

Pitt’s contribution, to the group Californians Against Eliminating Basic Rights, is one of the largest individual entertainment industry donations to the No on Prop. 8 campaign coming from the entertainment industry. Others who have chipped in so far include David Geffen, who has donated $50,000, and Bryan Lourd, who contributed $5,000.

In October, Ron Burkle plans to host a major event for the No on 8 campaign at his Greenacres estate in Beverly Hills.

But opponents are being outraised by supporters. According to IN Los Angeles magazine, which covers the gay community, proponents of Proposition 8 have raised $16 million and opponents have raised $11 million. Backers of the proposition raised $750,000 on Sept. 10 alone.

“It is our hope that others in the entertainment industry will step up and match Brad Pitt’s heroic commitment to quality and defeating Prop. 8,” said political strategist Chad Griffin, who is working to defeat the measure.

It’s sad in that the HW community enable Ryan O’Neal. Not only did he get away with the abuse and neglect toward Tatum and Griffin, the immunity toward his behavior became even stronger just because he survived leukemia and helped Farrah through her cancer crisis.
