Katie Holmes is dressed for the bitter cold in a winter jacket and leather gloves as she arrives for rehearsals in New York City on Sunday morning.
Was it really that cold out this morning? Even passersby were wearing tank tops and shorts!
The 29-year-old actress, who toted around her fave Chloe “Partay” handbag, makes her Broadway debut later this week in the Arthur Miller play for All My Sons.

She looks really odd in that get up. Is something wrong with her? I remember a few years ago when I suffered from low blood pressure, I was freezing all the time. I stayed in the house, wrapped in blankets for months until the doctors were able to get the right medication to me. Wonder if Katie has a problem like that.

As I think I’ve mentioned before, sarisue, Katie Holmes used to wear winter coats between scenes on the sets of Dawson’s Creek, and that was in the North Carolina heat.
I think her history of eating disorders has messed with her body enough to cause some real issues.

Maybe she is sick? if that is the case then she has been sick for weeks. She wears so many layers of clothing most days that she either has no body fat or doesn’t like her body and has to cover it all up. OK GUYS, exactly what WAS the temperature in New York today?…At first I read that it “”" was 88 and hot”", then someone else said it was “‘96 and humid””’….Big difference in the degrees…….Of Course, that does not matter when you wear a big heavy coat and leather gloves………..This is getting really strange with her, and I don’t recall her ever having to”"”"”wear winter clothes at the end of summer”"”, all the time……If you go back to different sites especially on http://www.celebitchy.com and find the premier of Tom’s Tropic Thunder, Katie’s hands looked fine then, and showed NO discoloration in any picture…..They were beautifully manicured and normal color, as she had her hands around his neck and waist, and you could see them well as she held hands with Tom also………….Even if the rehearsal set was cold, most of us would NOT dress like that, going in, but would carry any long sleeved shirt or sweater OR coat, THEN put it on when inside…………If you look close up at her, it SEEMS as if she is struggling just to keep her composure and sanity…..I feel very sorry for Katie if she is ill OR pregnant, because her physical well being is going to be pushed to the max anyway, during this long play……And she certainly has NOT been photographed looking her best.

I think after the divorce Nicole Kidman said something like when she was with Tom she ended up being very isolated–leaving all her friends behind due to his frenetic lifestyle. She mentioned she was reconnecting with them after the divorce and she would never let anyone do that to her again (i.e. take her life over to where she didn’t see friends and family unless it was okayed by the hubby).
So if this holds true for Katie, she has probably dumped her friends to be with him.
Hopefully when they get divorced her friends are as loyal as Nicole’s were to her and she’ll have a support system to help her through it!

I think the fact we see Katie Holmes every single day alone in NYC during this play, even though there are old friends all around that she could see or call, says a lot about her life right now. The last photos of her out at night to see a play, she was accompanied only by her bodyguard. (And how sad that they have to completely invent a story about Josh Jackson dropping by with hugs and flowers?)

I agree with you about Katie’s friends. One of her biggest friend was Victoria Beckham. Ok, Posh was occupied with the launch of her latest perfume, but she was in New York not so long ago. If Katie had time to play with Suri, then now she seams to don’t have her little girl with her, she should have time to meet Victoria.

Why didn’t you answer my question about why you come here and simply turned the spotlight on me trying to use a weak hypocrite attack? But I will answer. I come here because I just can’t stand to see untrue rumors and unwarranted attacks running rampant. Something that’s much more noble than gossiping for gossip’s sake which is lower than attacking Holmes for her Scientologist beliefs.

OH OK….I get it. So if a “faith” decides to keep children out of school and force them to work, no one should say anything. Or if their investigative branch follows people around and harasses them, no one should say anything. If a “faith” steal people’s money, no one has the right to say anything. Yea…..that makes sense. Learn something about Scientology before you talk out of your a$$. I’m amazed by how ignorant and unintelligent you are.

No one is “harassing” Holmes or Cruise. They are simply excercising their right to protest guaranteed under the US Constitution.

I’m sure the people of Jonestown loved and respected their “religion” as well. So did the people of Heaven’s Gate. That didn’t make either any less of a cult or any less dangerous. Holmes and Cruise absolutely CAN spend their money any way they please, however just as they have that right, we have the right to protest their dangerous choice.

Sorry, but when an individual and his wife who’s name is on the donations financilally supports Scientology to the tune of 5 million dollars in 2008 ALONE (10 million in 2007) they have LOTS to do with EVERYTHING. They are supporting a dangerous organization and need to be held accountable.
