I think after the divorce Nicole Kidman said something like when she was with Tom she ended up being very isolated–leaving all her friends behind due to his frenetic lifestyle. She mentioned she was reconnecting with them after the divorce and she would never let anyone do that to her again (i.e. take her life over to where she didn’t see friends and family unless it was okayed by the hubby).
So if this holds true for Katie, she has probably dumped her friends to be with him.
Hopefully when they get divorced her friends are as loyal as Nicole’s were to her and she’ll have a support system to help her through it!
You can tell what I think about this marriage! LOL.

I know Nicole Kidman also once likened her life with Tom Cruise to living in a cage.

I think the fact we see Katie Holmes every single day alone in NYC during this play, even though there are old friends all around that she could see or call, says a lot about her life right now. The last photos of her out at night to see a play, she was accompanied only by her bodyguard. (And how sad that they have to completely invent a story about Josh Jackson dropping by with hugs and flowers?)

It would be sadder to me, but she’s an adult and it’s the life she chose. The only ones I feel for are the friends who were hurt, but I’m sure they’re over it by now.

I’m a fan of Katie’s but I live in NY and don’t understand why she is wearing a coat and gloves! It was HOT. Like in the high 80’s. Something is definately wrong with her. Nobody dresses like that when its hot out. Maybe she is having some mental of physical problems. I hope she’s OK.

No one in the picture is even paying attention to her and she acts like she’s making some grand entrance. Hey, prima donna, ditch the bodyguards and get a good psychiatrist, of course without your freak husband knowing,and get some help. Soon, you will be dressing and acting normal like before TC,.

that either makes me sad for you or weirds me out (though nothing weirds me out as much as you commenting about her labor and delivery). You don’t know Katie Holmes. You have never even seen Katie Holmes walking down a street. So how can you possibly believe yourself qualified to make or refute any such statement? And you actually believe E! entertainment news gave you the intimate, accurate details of exactly what occurred during the birth?

You ask why I come here? Do you mean to say it’s okay for you to come here and try to “defend” these celebrities you don’t even know with things you got from TV or magazines–but it’s not okay for someone to come here and provide some actual first-hand knowledge, observation and information?
If so, that says it all, Creature. You’re even more delusional than I first thought.

Tom Cruise has donated millions and millions of dollars to fund Scientology and all its practices. Ever since Katie signed on to be with him, those donations go out in her name too.

Celebrities like Tom Cruise (and all his money) are in large part a reason why Scientology stays in business.

If Scientology is involved in something shady or illegal or immoral (and they’ve been investigated and found guilty before of all that), then it’s just stupid and naive to try to claim it has nothing to do with Tom Cruise and his poor Stepford Bride.
