Lindsay Lohan: Sarah Palin Sucks!

Lindsay Lohan: Sarah Palin Sucks!

Celebrities are continuing to speak out publicly over their disapproval of Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. You can tack on Lindsay Lohan and her gal pal DJ Samantha Ronson to that list now! The pair just published this same entry on their respective MySpace blogs:

“I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.

I couldn’t be more supportive of a woman in office, but let’s face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.

Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?

I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be… Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she’s FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land…. Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.

Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play…

Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?

I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice… I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the “lipstick on a pig” comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president…

Palin’s desire to “save and convert the gays”-really??

According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the “conversion of Gays” — no kidding.

Here’s the AP text: ‘Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer. You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child. Palin’s conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain’s candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.’

I feel it’s necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.

Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies… And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.

Oh, and…Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don’t pose for anymore tabloid covers, you’re not a celebrity, you’re running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!

And in the words of Pamela Anderson, “She can suck it“.

Lindsay- “I have faith that this country will be all that it can be with the proper guidance. I really hope that all of you make your decisions based on the facts and what feels right to you in your heart-vote for Obama!”

Samantha- “I love this country- however i wasn’t born here and don’t have the right to vote- so i beg of you all to really do your research and be educated when you cast your vote this coming november…. and if you’re in doubt- vote for obama! Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won’t get renewed!!!”

xoxo
Lindsay and Samantha

Vive Victoire!!! Finally , an admittance to the obvious!!!
Lucy in Texas, Victoire? As anti-american and as impolite as Victoire, hmmm…more like planet Mars for her! Martians maybe ready to listen to her political opinions, and maybe Victoire can tag along…perhaps teach French and Spanish there? After all, y’al have the pioneering blood running through your veins! and oh…take Lindsey, Pam Sam with you guys. Form your own gov’t there…exercise that privelege.
Oh, Victoire, I just enjoy reading your arrogance and self-proclaimed intelligence…you have not come a long way yet babe!! You have not measured up to Virginia’s assessment yet!

Victoire de castignac @ 09/15/2008 at 6:48 pm

Sure you stay in USA with your “”strong economy”" if McCain gets elected! And hey, why don’t you go to Irak too?

I guess Obama’s ties to communists and radicals can’t be the reason we support Mccain/Palin according to your theory. That’s so preposterous to say that McCain supporters won’t vote for Obama because he’s black… please. He’s incompetent, inexperienced and he’s a commie… that’s reason enough not to vote for him. He knows nothing about economic policy - he got a law degree from Harvard, not an MBA. And he couldn’t even get in on his own - needed the help of radicals to get in. He’s been campaigning for 5 of the last 10 years and basically done nothing meaningful during the other 5 years. No accomplishments, no legislation, not even any reforms. He’s a corrupt politician and that’s about it. His economic policies will make the bad circumstances in America worse. That’s not even addressing his foreign policy. He can’t even run his campaign, how is he going to run a country? With your comments, seems like you have in issue with race and you are only voting for him because he is black. That’s lame!

McCain is within 5 points in New York according to the latest poll -that’s right, New York. Obama was up 18 points back in June…. I guess America is starting to see that Obama is just an “empty suit”. What, other than Obama’s speeches, is noteworthy about the man. Are you a supporter because you believe in his economic justice? That’s it, isn’t it. You don’t have a job, collect welfare and want more from us working taxpayers. Either that or you are filled with self-entitlement. Stop being a leech and get a job!

oh and if mccain wins, I will be glad to go to mars! You are going to pollute so much the earth que se van a morir con su propio asfixio! Bande de cerveaux troués!

Clearly your mother isn’t any better than Palin at raising children. Palin’s son is in Iraq fighting for your sorry ass so you can sit at home, protected while you talk all your BS about everyone else. What a coward!

Ignacio

That’s what you said during the last election cycle and you’re still here. Take Barbara Streisand, Alec Baldwin, Matt Damon and Lindsay Lohan and get lost. Try Cuba, that’s probably more your speed. Ha!

Fidel is just as stupid as Bush !!!!

Lindsay Lohan should spend less time blogging about politics and more time doing things she knows about ,like sniffing coke in bathrooms. She has no idea what she is talking about.
I’m voting for McCain!

I am voting for mcCain/Palin…thay are the best ones who can handle our economy and guard the nation from aggressors. Lindsey and Pam Anderson, not credible endorsers. No worry.

final thought...or not @ 09/15/2008 at 11:17 pm

Victoire de castignac …..we would get out of IRAQ if somebody else would do the job and help outher ppl but once again america is the one going in and risking our lives to save other people. the only rreason any of you non americans want obama is because he will weaken the us in every possible way & all of you would love to see the downfall of the greatest country on earth.

So does Lindsay want us to vote with the way our hearts feel or vote for Obama? So…everyone should vote the way she feels?
Please! I’m an independent and would never take LINDSAY LOHAN’S advice when it comes to who should run this country. And Samantha who? Please!

I’m not condemning or sticking up for either party, but does Lindsay actually believe people are going to vote based on her opinion?

vote for republicans @ 09/16/2008 at 12:03 am

Another term for the Republicans is for certainty of many bending issues.
The first and foremost are national security, Iraq, world order, foreign policies.
The Democrats have no ideas how to deal with those issues.
Economic slowdown is to stablize shady stock market, skyrocketed house pricing domestically and internationally. The Republicans want to slowdown the growing pace of China and Russia. America can’t afford to have those two together because China’s goal is to conquer Asia and Russia’s goal is to conquer Eastern European parts.
The loss in stock market is to bring the Asia’s economy down, i.e China.
American peole need to be patient and have more insight into what is going on.
Iraq’s mission is important for America to have certain control in the rich oil region, thus benefits.
Once those objectives above are achieved, America can be relaxed to reorganize their dosmetic issues.
So this is not yet the time for the Democrats to be in the government because they are not specialized in those areas. They can’t deal with those bad guys, who want to bring America down economically and polically.
The Republican’s tasks are still needed.

Actually, you have a guinea pig which is, funnily enough, a type of rodent. So calling a rat a pig? Okay, I must suck a attempts at humour.

For all the Meghans, Jerikos, et al - I’m sure religion must be your soothing balm, your salve, indeed your salvation. To me, its a load of crock. And America? Well, I suppose when you have the most firepower, you can easily style yourself as being the head honcho. Then again, if you choose to spend more on said firepower than on the education and health of your people then good for you. Its great to see your government has its priorities straight. I’m not saying Europe is wonderful or Asia is the best. God knows all countries have their flaws. But one of the main things that Europeans have over Americans is their pragmatism. You can call them secular if you wish. But I don’t know if its a good thing when your country is “grounded in Judeo-Christian beliefs”.

On a side note Meghan, you say women who have sex know what the consequences are, i.e. possible pregnancy. And you say that unless the mother’s life is at stake, abortions should not be the answer. So what happens if you were raped? Or are you one of those who will say that the girl was probably asking for it? What if it was really you, or your sister, your cousin, your child? Frankly, there is no way I’d ever want to carry a rapists child. Then again, I don’t want kids so if I were ever stupid enough to get pregnant, then I would have to think very long and hard about keeping it.

Uh, if you think only Americans have such buying cache that the Europeans designer goods are kept afloat then you obviously can’t afford them. :) Remember, you only have New York fashion week whereas Europe has Milan, London, Paris, et al.

I boycotted movies two years ago because of celebs and the mealy mouth better than thou attitude. Just another example of a good decision on my part. :) F Hollywood!

Screw Polical Correctness… If your a homo and you cant stand up for freedom of speech who says something about you then your a Nazi.

OBAMA IS A STUPID SCARY IDIOT. HE HAS A LOT MORE BAGGAGE THAN ANY OF THE OTHER CANDIDATES IN THE AMERICAN HISTORY. DO SOME RESEARCH. PALIN DID SO MUCH GOOD IN ALASKA SINCE TAKING OFFICE IN 1992 AS CITY COUNCIL AND EVERYONE KNOWS THAT. I can name 30 political accomplishments Governor Palin has accomplished and I cannot find one that Obama can stand on and proclaim he did. Sad to see when a person running for president cannot tell us what he has done other than say hope and change. I think more of the change in my pocket than the change obama is offering. She’s the Governor of Alaska and was the mayor of a small town, meaning she has more executive experience than Barack Obama and Joe Biden put together. But more than that, given Barack Obama’s comments earlier this year that small-town Americans “cling” to guns, religion, and xenophobia out of economic anxiety, it’s troubling that Obama’s campaign has now attacked Governor Palin for having been the mayor of a small-town, as if that wouldn’t qualify her to carry Senator Obama’s bags.

OBAMA’S SENATE AND ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS ARE DUBIOUS. PALIN DIDN’T HAVE TO ACQUIRE AFFIRMATIVE ACTION FOR HER COLLEGE EDUCATION. Harvard was recently forced to change its honor system to reflect the practices at other colleges — in 2001 a record 91% of Harvard students graduated *** laude, magna *** laude, or summa *** laude. Google it if you want to read more about the scandal. But, needless to say, honors at Harvard mean very little. The real test for a law student is getting published — the real test for a professor is getting published. Unfortunately, though, Obama never published any academic articles. McCain was a teenager in the Navy Academy. Obama as a teenager did terrible in school. Obama waited a decade to go into harvard law. Obama was 31 at Harvard law competing against people a decade younger. Easy to do well when you are 30 competing against kids. McCain sacrificed for his country. McCain flew fighter pilots. Obama is terrible with numbers. Obama says 57 states. Obama says 100 million died in Burma. Obama says 10,000 died in a tornado in Kansas. Obama did get affirmative action he got poor grades at Columbia and got into harvard. Who is that mystery man that got Obama into Harvard?Another questionable associate for Obama: Dr. Khalid Al Mansour. While the MSM vets Palin they really should take the time to vet Obama. Obama was 30 when he was in harvard law. McCain was a teenager at the navy academy. Obama as a teenager went to Occidental College because he initially didn’t pass any ivy league schools when he was a teenager and then with luck was able to transfer to Columbia but got poor grades at Columbia not enough to qualify him to Harvard Law. He got affirmative action from Dr. Khalid Al Mansour (http://theminorityreportblog.com/hinzsight_story/david_hinz/2008/09/05/another_radical_khalid_abdullah_tariq_al_mansour_sponsored_barack_obama_into_harvard_law_s) who knows people inside Harvard that’s why he was able to get in. McCain was tested at 130 IQ in the navy and flew planes. Obama is terrible with numbers and could never have flown planes. There is a difference in graduating college coming out smart than coming out dumb.

African-Americans are afforded the luxury of 230 points added to their SATs in order for them to get into an Ivy League school. It’s pretty much points out that they must be too dumb that they need to be given the extra 230 points before they can even take the SAT! Imagine, Obama initially didn’t get into an Ivy League school despite the 230 points bonus. That means…Obama is that stupid and dumb he needed affirmative action from Dr. Khalid Al Mansour for Harvard Law.

WHO IS MORE CREDIBLE AS PRESIDENT? PALIN IS JUST RUNNING FOR VEEP.

Palin’s credentials:
4yrs (1992-1996) as City Council of Wasilla, Alaska
6 yrs (1996-2002) as Mayor of Wasilla, Alaska
2 yrs (2003-2004) Ethics Commissioner of Alaskan Oil and Gas
Conservation Commission
2 yrs (2006-present) as Governor of Alaska

Total 10 years in High Office with noteable accomplishments excluding her City Council position

Obama’s credentials:
7 yrs (1997-2004) Community Organizer
4 yrs (2004-present) Illinois Senator (of which, barely 2 years in Senate 145 days actual senate experience…that’s all…noteable achievement? passed the one and only BILL he pioneered in the U.S. Senate - for Africa, which shows HIS priorities. To bloat his very thin resume, Obama claims he passed 800 bills which are questionable and most of them, if not all, he did not pioneer or had least participation)

Barely 2 years in High Office because his last 2 years in Senate was spent mostly in campaign trail.

I WOULD RATHER PUT MY TRUST ON PALIN AS PRESIDENT THAN OBAMA AS PRESIDENT. MATT DAMON SHOULD TURN HIS DINOSOUR QUESTION TO OBAMA, WHOSE NAME IS NOT ONLY DUBIOUS FROM THE START BUT ALSO HIS CITIZENSHIP(www.obamacrimes.com), CHARACTER, BELIEFS, ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS(IF THERE’S REALLY ANY) AND HIS BAD ASSOCIATIONS:

There are way to many “unknowns” about Obama. I don’t think America really likes this guy that much, they just want change and since McCain is a republican, America automatically tunes him out because of Bush.
McCain is very different from Bush and will be the best candidate to lead America.
I pray America will come to her senses and vote Obama out…..if not, America will enter very dark days as did Germany under Hitler.
1. http://www.rightsidenews.com/200808111678/editorial/obama-s-scandal-is-bigger-than-edwards.html  associations with Communist Party of USA
2. Obama has very close links to the convicted Weathermen terrorist bombers Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dohrn. He shared board memberships with Ayres on the Woods Fund and the Chicago Annenberg Challenge. This and most of the following scandals are detailed in Tarpley’s “Obama - The Postmodern Coup: Making of a Manchurian Candidate,” released in June.
3 Obama is very close to the racist demagogues Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Otis Moss III, Hopkins, Meeks, and Pfleger.
4 Obama has been accused in Federal Court of using crack cocaine by Larry Sinclair, along with gay sex. The Obama camp retaliated by arresting Sinclair in an enemies list operation by Beau Biden, son of veep candidate Joe Biden.
5. The mysterious deaths of black gays in and around Wright’s Church: Donald Young, Nate Spencer, Larry Bland could be linked to Obama.
6. Obama’s relations to Chechen Terrorism through Ilyas Achmadov.
7. Dr. Khalid Al Mansour that gave him affirmative action to get into Harvard Law when Obama’s poor grades in Columbia didn’t qualify him.

VOTERS DEMAND Obamas tell America about their relationship with Ayers, Gadaffi Syrian tycoon, Antoin Rezko, Saudi Arabian Scheiks and Nadhami Auchi, Iraqi billionaire, global arms dealer who was best friends with Saddam Hussein, and the main financial backer for Saddam’s Iraqi -Saudi oil pipeline, and stood trial with Saddam Hussein for conspiring to assassinate Iraqi President Qasim. VOTERS are concerned why CNN & MSNBC refuse to question those relationships, coupled with Obama’s 20 plus yrs with Rev. Wright shows a serious pattern, which Obama seems quite comfortable with people who really, really, really HATE U.S of America. If you question him or his values or policies, you’re part of the “divisive, distracting” practices voters associate with Washington.

IF THE DEMOCRATS WANT TO WIN THIS ELECTION, OBAMA SHOULD BE REPLACED BY HILLARY CLINTON AS PRESIDENT AND RETAIN BIDEN AS HER VICE PRESIDENT. LIKE HER HUSBAND, SHE KNOWS VERY WELL THE SECRET FORMULA OF THE AMERICAN ECONOMY. HILLARY WAS RAISED FROM AMIDDLE CLASS FAMILY. SHE WAS CONSISTENTLY EXCELLENT IN HER ACADEMICS SINCE CHILDHOOD AND UNLIKE OBAMA, SHE DIDN’T NEED TO OBTAIN AFFIRMATIVE ACTION TO GET INTO AN IVY LEAGUE SCHOOL WHERE SHE GRADUATED FROM YALE. HILLARY, A POLICY WIZARD, WHOPPED HIM UP IN ALL DEBATES.

FACTS: Only the Clintons understand the American economy. Social Security is being paid with money borrowed from China. The USA doesn’t make enough money from tax payers the IRS only reports $400 billions a year. The USA owes $40 trillions with interests. There are 1000 billions in a trillion. There is no money for Social Security it has been taken for other expenses. The USA people don’t have as much savings compare to the rest of the world. The USA medical system is the most expensive in the world. The oil bought today is paid with money borrowed from China. The world considers China the new empire not the USA. When Mr. Clinton was President the USA was #1 in the world with the strongest economy. The Clintons left $500 billions surplus, a balance budget and the world enjoy peace. We need the Clintons right now, urgently.

As we watched Sarah Palin on TV the last couple of days, we kept wondering what on earth John McCain was thinking.

If he seriously thought this first-term governor — with less than two years in office — was qualified to be president, if necessary, at such a dangerous time, it raises profound questions about his judgment. If the choice was, as we suspect, a tactical move, then it was shockingly irresponsible.

It was bad enough that Ms. Palin’s performance in the first televised interviews she has done since she joined the Republican ticket was so visibly scripted and lacking in awareness.

What made it so much worse is the strategy for which the Republicans have made Ms. Palin the frontwoman: win the White House not on ideas, but by denigrating experience, judgment and qualifications.

The idea that Americans want leaders who have none of those things — who are so blindly certain of what Ms. Palin calls “the mission” that they won’t even pause for reflection — shows a contempt for voters and raises frightening questions about how Mr. McCain and Ms. Palin plan to run this country.

One of the many bizarre moments in the questioning by ABC News’s Charles Gibson was when Ms. Palin, the governor of Alaska, excused her lack of international experience by sneering that Americans don’t want “somebody’s big fat résumé maybe that shows decades and decades in that Washington establishment where, yes, they’ve had opportunities to meet heads of state.”

We know we were all supposed to think of Joe Biden. But it sure sounded like a good description of Mr. McCain. Those decades of experience earned the Arizona senator the admiration of people in both parties. They are why he was our preferred candidate in the Republican primaries.

The interviews made clear why Americans should worry about Ms. Palin’s thin résumé and lack of experience. Consider her befuddlement when Mr. Gibson referred to President Bush’s “doctrine” and her remark about having insight into Russia because she can see it from her state.

But that is not what troubled us most about her remarks — and, remember, if they were scripted, that just means that they reflect Mr. McCain’s views all the more closely. Rather, it was the sense that thoughtfulness, knowledge and experience are handicaps for a president in a world populated by Al Qaeda terrorists, a rising China, epidemics of AIDS, poverty and fratricidal war in the developing world and deep economic distress at home.

Ms. Palin talked repeatedly about never blinking. When Mr. McCain asked her to run for vice president? “You have to be wired in a way of being so committed to the mission,” she said, that “you can’t blink.”

Fighting terrorism? “We must do whatever it takes, and we must not blink, Charlie, in making those tough decisions of where we go and even who we target.”

Her answers about why she had told her church that President Bush’s failed policy in Iraq was “God’s plan” did nothing to dispel our concerns about her confusion between faith and policy. Her claim that she was quoting a completely unrelated comment by Lincoln was absurd.

This nation has suffered through eight years of an ill-prepared and unblinkingly obstinate president. One who didn’t pause to think before he started a disastrous war of choice in Iraq. One who blithely looked the other way as the Taliban and Al Qaeda regrouped in Afghanistan. One who obstinately cut taxes and undercut all efforts at regulation, unleashing today’s profound economic crisis.

In a dangerous world, Americans need a president who knows that real strength requires serious thought and preparation.

NYTIMES.

It was embarassing to me how stupid this was. I would expect someone who has been the subject pf scrutiny and ridicule for so long to be a little more gracious when talking about other people. What a venomous, defamatory thing to say about another human being.

Also, where does she get her facts? Why would she call Pain a homophobe? Because she is a Christian? Barack Obama is also a Christian Lindsay! He sat in Rick Warren’s church in front of millions of viewers and said that he was a Christ follower. Does that make him a homophobe?? I am one too and I am not a homophobe — npt even close! That kind of hatred is totally anti-thetical to what it means to be a Christian. Thanks to the media, people way too often confuse “religion” with Christianity. Here is a perfect example. Before “assuming” people have certain beliefs, you should look into it, or maybe pick up a book and do a little reading on the subject. Maybe “Mere Christianity” by CS Lewis. Because if you think that true Christians think this way, you are so, so misguided. A few bad apples spoil the bunch, but what you said is hateful and untrue.

Did you say that because Palin does not support a Constitutional Amendment re-defining marriage? Well guess what? Neither does Barack Obama, Lindsay! Another point he made at the Political Forum. Did you watch? That does not keep gay couples from getting together. They still can enter into civil unions etc …. It just means that the church does not recognize the union as a Christian marriage since the term “marriage” is a Christian term. Regardless, not one candidate in this race supports it, so are they all homophobes?

This blog made me very sad… that people still think it is ok to talk about other human beings this way. If Palin stands by what she says she believes in, I doubt she would ever say anything this awful about someone else. And I have no reason to believe she does not. Speaking of “judgment,” this was as bad as it gets.

Bob Herbert

While watching the Sarah Palin interview with Charlie Gibson Thursday night, and the coverage of the Palin phenomenon in general, I’ve gotten the scary feeling, for the first time in my life, that dimwittedness is not just on the march in the U.S., but that it might actually prevail.

Go to Columnist Page »
How is it that this woman could have been selected to be the vice presidential candidate on a major party ticket? How is it that so much of the mainstream media has dropped all pretense of seriousness to hop aboard the bandwagon and go along for the giddy ride?

For those who haven’t noticed, we’re electing a president and vice president, not selecting a winner on “American Idol.”

Ms. Palin may be a perfectly competent and reasonably intelligent woman (however troubling her views on evolution and global warming may be), but she is not ready to be vice president.

With most candidates for high public office, the question is whether one agrees with them on the major issues of the day. With Ms. Palin, it’s not about agreeing or disagreeing. She doesn’t appear to understand some of the most important issues.

“Do you believe in the Bush doctrine?” Mr. Gibson asked during the interview. Ms. Palin looked like an unprepared student who wanted nothing so much as to escape this encounter with the school principal.

Clueless, she asked, “In what respect, Charlie?”

“Well, what do you interpret it to be?” said Mr. Gibson.

“His worldview?” asked Ms. Palin

Later, in the spin zones of cable TV, commentators repeatedly made the point that there are probably very few voters — some specifically mentioned “hockey moms” — who could explain the Bush doctrine. But that’s exactly the reason we have such long and intense campaigns. You want to find the individuals who best understand these issues, who will address them in sophisticated and creative ways that enhance the well-being of the nation.

The Bush doctrine, which flung open the doors to the catastrophe in Iraq, was such a fundamental aspect of the administration’s foreign policy that it staggers the imagination that we could have someone no further than a whisper away from the White House who doesn’t even know what it is.

You can’t imagine that John McCain or Barack Obama or Joe Biden or Hillary Clinton or Joe Lieberman would not know what the Bush doctrine is. But Sarah Palin? Absolutely clueless.

Ms. Palin’s problem is not that she was mayor of a small town or has only been in the Alaska governor’s office a short while. Her problem (and now ours) is that she is not well versed on the critical matters confronting the country at one of the most crucial turning points in its history.

The economy is in a tailspin. The financial sector is lurching about on rubbery legs. We’re mired in self-defeating energy policies. We’re at war. And we are still vulnerable to the very real threat of international terrorism.

With all of that and more being the case, how can it be a good idea to set in motion the possibility that Americans might wake up one morning to find that Sarah Palin is president?

I feel for Ms. Palin’s son who has been shipped off to the war in Iraq. But at his deployment ceremony, which was on the same day as the Charlie Gibson interview, Sept. 11, she told the audience of soldiers that they would be fighting “the enemies who planned and carried out and rejoiced in the death of thousands of Americans.”

Was she deliberately falsifying history, or does she still not know that Iraq and Saddam Hussein had nothing to do with the Sept. 11 attacks?
