Lindsay Lohan: Sarah Palin Sucks!
Celebrities are continuing to speak out publicly over their disapproval of Republican vice presidential hopeful Sarah Palin. You can tack on Lindsay Lohan and her gal pal DJ Samantha Ronson to that list now! The pair just published this same entry on their respective MySpace blogs:
“I really cannot bite my tongue anymore when it comes to Sarah Palin.
I couldn’t be more supportive of a woman in office, but let’s face it, it comes down to the person, and their beliefs, male or female.
Is it a sin to be gay? Should it be a sin to be straight? Or to use birth control? Or to have sex before marriage? Or even to have a child out of wedlock?
I find it quite interesting that a woman who now is running to be second in command of the United States, only 4 years ago had aspirations to be a television anchor. Which is probably all she is qualified to be… Also interesting that she got her passport in 2006.. And that she is not fond of environmental protection considering she’s FOR drilling for oil in some of our protected land…. Well hey, if she wants to drill for oil, she should DO IT IN HER OWN backyard. This really shows me her complete lack of real preparation to become the second most powerful person in this country.
Hmmmm-All of this gets me going-Fear, Anxiety, Concern, Disappointment, and Stress come into play…
Is our country so divided that the Republicans best hope is a narrow minded, media obsessed homophobe?
I know that the most important thing about this election is that people need to exercise their right to vote, regardless of their choice… I would have liked to have remained impartial, however I am afraid that the “lipstick on a pig” comments will overshadow the issues and the fact that I believe Barack Obama is the best choice, in this election, for president…
Palin’s desire to “save and convert the gays”-really??
According to this Associated Press story, the church of Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is hosting a kind of conference devoted to the “conversion of Gays” — no kidding.
Here’s the AP text: ‘Gov. Sarah Palin’s church is promoting a conference that promises to convert gays into heterosexuals through the power of prayer. You’ll be encouraged by the power of God’s love and His desire to transform the lives of those impacted by homosexuality,” according to the insert in the bulletin of the Wasilla Bible Church, where Palin has prayed since she was a child. Palin’s conservative Christian views have energized that part of the GOP electorate, which was lukewarm to John McCain’s candidacy before he named her as his vice presidential choice. She is staunchly anti-abortion, opposing exceptions for rape and incest, and opposes gay marriage and spousal rights for gay couples.’
I feel it’s necessary for me to clarify that I am not against Sarah Palin as a mother or woman.
Women have come a long way in the fight to have the choice over what we do with our bodies… And its frightening to see that a woman in 2008 would negate all of that.
Oh, and…Hint Hint Pali Pal- Don’t pose for anymore tabloid covers, you’re not a celebrity, you’re running for office to represent our, your, my COUNTRY!
And in the words of Pamela Anderson, “She can suck it“.
Lindsay- “I have faith that this country will be all that it can be with the proper guidance. I really hope that all of you make your decisions based on the facts and what feels right to you in your heart-vote for Obama!”
Samantha- “I love this country- however i wasn’t born here and don’t have the right to vote- so i beg of you all to really do your research and be educated when you cast your vote this coming november…. and if you’re in doubt- vote for obama! Mainly because if she gets elected my green card probably won’t get renewed!!!”
xoxo
Lindsay and Samantha“

Obama’s $845 billion U.N. plan forwarded to U.S. Senate floor
‘Global Poverty Act’ to cost each citizen $2,500 or more
The U.S. Senate soon could debate whether you, your spouse and each of your children – as well as your in-laws, parents, grandparents, neighbors and everyone else in America – each will spend $2,500 or more to reduce poverty around the world.
The plan sponsored by Sen. Barack Obama, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee, is estimated to cost the U.S. some $845 billion over the coming few years in an effort to raise the standard of living around the globe.
Barack Obama
S.2433 already has been approved in one form by the U.S. House of Representatives and now has been placed on the Senate Legislative Calendar for pending debate.
WND previously reported the proposal demands the president develop “and implement” a policy to “cut extreme global poverty in half by 2015 through aid, trade, debt relief” and other programs.
Cliff Kincaid at Accuracy in Media has published a critique asserting that while the Global Poverty Act sounds nice, the adoption could “result in the imposition of a global tax on the United States” and would make levels of U.S. foreign aid spending “subservient to the dictates of the United Nations.”
He said the legislation, if approved, dedicates 0.7 percent of the U.S. gross national product to foreign aid, which over 13 years, he said, would amount to $845 billion “over and above what the U.S. already spends.”
The plan passed the House in 2007 “because most members didn’t realize what was in it,” Kincaid reported. “Congressional sponsors have been careful not to calculate the amount of foreign aid spending that it would require.”
A recent statement from Obama’s office noted the support offered by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee.
“With billions of people living on just dollars a day around the world, global poverty remains one of the greatest challenges and tragedies the international community faces,” Obama said. “It must be a priority of American foreign policy to commit to eliminating extreme poverty and ensuring every child has food, shelter, and clean drinking water. As we strive to rebuild America’s standing in the world, this important bill will demonstrate our promise and commitment to those in the developing world.
“Our commitment to the global economy must extend beyond trade agreements that are more about increasing profits than about helping workers and small farmers everywhere,” he continued.

The U.S. Senate soon could debate whether you, your spouse and each of your children – as well as your in-laws, parents, grandparents, neighbors and everyone else in America – each will spend $2,500 or more to reduce poverty around the world.

(Story continues below)
Another critic, however, has been commentator Glenn Beck, whose YouTube video critique can be seen here:
“Not one dime would go to fixing America,” the commentary said.
Obama has continued to lobby for such massive expenditures on his campaign stops. During an address as recently as last week, he said, “I’ll double our foreign assistance to $50 billion by 2012, and use it to support a stable future in failing states, and sustainable growth in Africa; to halve global poverty and to roll back disease.”
Beck and Kincaid pointed out that the plan not only commits the U.S. to the anti-poverty spending proposal, it also adopts for the U.S. the United Nations Millennium Development Goal, which includes a variety of treaties and protocols advocated by the U.N.
Objections have remained strong. Duane Lester, writing at the All American blogger, warned that the U.S. has yet to be able to win its own war on poverty.
“On January 8, 1964, President Lyndon Johnson declared “all-out war on human poverty and unemployment in these United States.” This “all-out war” would last through the presidencies of Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, H.W. Bush, Clinton, and George W. Bush. We have spent billions of dollars fighting this war, and what have we achieved?”
He continued, “Very little. In 1964, there were 36 million Americans living in poverty, or about 19 percent of the population. In the 40 years between 1964 and 2004: … poverty never measured less than 11 percent of the population. In 1983, under President Reagan, poverty registered 15.2 percent; in 1993, at the beginning of Bill Clinton’s presidency, poverty was measured at 13.7 percent of the population. In 2004, under George W. Bush, a president often accused by the political Left as not caring about the poor, the poverty rate declined to 12.7 percent. Still, some 37 million Americans remain poor.”
Despite that performance, “Obama is ready to take the fight global,” said Lester.
“In addition to seeking to eradicate poverty, that declaration commits nations to banning ’small arms and light weapons’ and ratifying a series of treaties, including the International Criminal Court Treaty, the Kyoto Protocol (global warming treaty), the Convention on Biological Diversity, the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination Against Women, and the Convention on the Rights of the Child,” he wrote.
Tom DeWeese at NewsWithViews said the plan “is very telling” about what Obama would do as president.
DeWeese, president of the American Policy Center, warned the over-arching plan includes the ideals of consolidating all international agencies under the U.N., regulation by the U.N. of all corporate environmental issues, license fees charged by the U.N. to use air, water and natural resources, a restructuring that would give hand-picked non-governmental organizations huge influence, authorize a standing U.N. army and require registration of all arms.
I’m sure Obama appreciates the endorsement about as much as Cheetos thanks Britney.
The O-man, Barack Hussein Obama, is an eloquently tailored empty suit. No resume, no accomplishments, no experience, no original ideas, no understanding of how the economy works, no understanding of how the world works, nothing but abstract empty rhetoric devoid of real substance.
He has no real identity. He is half-white, which he rejects. The rest of him is mostly Arab, which he hides but is disclosed by his non-African Arabic surname and his Arabic first and middle names as a way to triply proclaim his Arabic parentage to people in Kenya . Only a small part of him is African Black from his Luo grandmother, which he pretends he is exclusively.
What he isn’t, not a genetic drop of, is ‘African-American,’ the descendant of enslaved Africans brought to America chained in slave ships. He hasn’t a single ancestor who was a slave. Instead, his Arab ancestors were slave owners. Slave-trading was the main Arab business in East Africa for centuries until the British ended it.
Let that sink in: Obama is not the descendant of slaves, he is the descendant of slave owners Thus he makes the perfect Liberal Messiah.
It’s something Hillary doesn’t understand - how some complete neophyte came out of the blue and stole the Dem nomination from her. Obamamania is beyond politics and reason. It is a true religious cult, whose adherents reject Christianity yet still believe in Original Sin, transferring it from the evil of being human to the evil of being white.
Thus Obama has become the white liberals’ Christ, offering absolution from the Sin of Being White. There is no reason or logic behind it, no faults or flaws of his can diminish it, no arguments Hillary could make of any kind can be effective against it. The absurdity of Hypocrisy Clothed In Human Flesh being their Savior is all the more cause for liberals to worship him: Credo quia absurdum, I believe it because it is absurd.
Thank heavens that the voting majority of Americans remain Christian and are in no desperate need of a phony savior.
His candidacy is ridiculous and should not be taken seriously by any thinking American.
Obama supporters not wanting to discuss issues? McCain and Palin havn’t discussed one issue. Nothing except “See this family here that i’m trotting out for the world to see and flying out my soon to be son-in-law to use him as a prop to? These kids right here? Look at these kids!! Look at my kids!! DON’T TALK ABOUT MY KIDS!!!” and their attempts to scare the **** out of Americans. Obama has talked about creating jobs by creating a new “green” industry, which this country desperately needs. He talks about long term help in looking for alternative clean fuels. He talks about cutting the taxes for families making less than $250,000 a year. He wants to give tax breaks to companies who keep employing Americans instead of giving tax cuts to companies that ship jobs out to other countries like India. Who wants to keep giving those companies tax breaks? Who wants to keep cutting taxes for the rich and passing the financial burden onto the middle class? Oh, that’s right. John McCain. Who didn’t want to go into Iraq in the first place? Barack Obama. Who did? John McCain. The surge wouldn’t have been necessary had we not gone into this stupid war in the first place. But hey, Obama says let’s take care of our troops that are over there fighting by passing this IMPROVED GI Bill with better health insurance and job support for our troops. Who voted AGAINST helping out our troops not only with the GI Bill but by voting against providing the troops with body armor and better weapons in Iraq? JOHN MCCAIN. If you Republicans had a thought in your head aside from “omg but he’s got a different name and he is a different color than me” then maybe this country wouldn’t be in the shithole it is. REPUBLICANS ARE A SHAME TO THIS COUNTRY AND WON’T TALK ABOUT THE ISSUES AND WHY MCCAIN HAS VOTED WITH BUSH 90% OF THE TIME. SARAH PALIN HAS NO FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE EXCEPT SEEING RUSSIA FROM HER HOUSE. Joe Biden is the head of the foreign policy committee in the Senate. Leaders around the world RESPECT Joe Biden and LISTEN to Joe Biden. John McCain is a 72 year old hack who makes lies up in his ads to make himself look like less of a douche. EVEN KARL ROVE HAS COME OUT TODAY AND SAID THAT MCCAIN IS A LIAR WHO IS RUNNING A DISGUSTING CAMPAIGN! FOX NEWS CALLED HIM OUT ON HIS LIES. EVERYONE SEES MCCAIN FOR WHAT HE IS. The Republicans are scared of anything different. And FYI, asking a woman what qualifications she has to be VP isn’t sexism — it’s REALISM. What Hillary Clinton faced was sexism. This is just the American people calling a spade a spade.
VOTE OBAMA/BIDEN ‘08!
How destructive to the U.S. economy would a Barack Obama presidency be?
There could be a very rough time ahead.
Beneath Obama’s flowery rhetoric lies a dangerous economic plan that will wreak havoc on the American economy.
Obama plans to return to the failed policies of high taxation coupled with an expansion of government spending.
Worse, Obama says he is absolutely committed to almost doubling the capital gains rate — something he will easily accomplish with a Democrat Congress.
In the coming months — when investors realize that Obama will raise the cap gains rate — there could be a stampede of asset sales as investors rush to take their profits now to avoid Obama’s doubling of the tax rates next year.
All of these issues and more are explored in Newsmax magazine’s special report “Obamanomics — the Coming Tax-and-Spend Nightmare,” by Wall Street Journal columnist John Fund.
This Newsmax magazine special report gives Americans the first in-depth look at the Democratic presidential candidate’s likely strategies — and how they will affect not just the larger economy, but your personal wealth as well.
Indeed, Obama makes no bones about his plans to go on a tax rampage. Not only would he increase the capital-gains tax rate from 15 percent to as much as 28 percent, he wants to allow the 2001 and 2003 Bush tax cuts to expire in 2010, which effectively raises taxes on Americans by tens of billions of dollars.
He also wants to do away with the $102,000 FICA payroll tax cap, which means anyone making over $102,000 would pay an additional 7 percent in taxes on earned income.
And the loan dividend tax rate George Bush implemented? Under President Obama it will be DOA!
Barrack HUSSEIN Obama was a JUNIOR Senator. A Law Graduate is a dime a dozen these days.
Palin is a Governor.
Governors reign over Senators. This election is historic alone in the regard that two Senators are running against one another in almost 40 years. Last time was 1972.
Carter was a Governor, he won.
Reagan was a Governor, he won.
George H.W. Bush was not a Governor but had command/executive experience as VP, he won.
Bill Clinton was a Governor, he won.
George W. Bush was a Governor, he won twice. Both times against Senators.
Americans like candidates with governance and command experience over territory and make their choices based on how those candidates performed.
Sarah Palin performed magnificently as Governor and is ready to perform magnificently as VP.
Like it or not. Get use to it.
You couldn’t be a new lawyer with 143 days of experience and become a
partner in any law firm.
You couldn’t get a job at McDonalds and become district manager
after 143 days of experience.
You couldn’t become chief of surgery after 143 days of experience .of being
a surgeon.
You couldn’t get a job as a teacher and be the superintendent after
143 days of experience.
You couldn’t join the military and become a colonel after a 143 days
. of experience.
You couldn’t get a job as a reporter and become the nightly news
anchor after 143 days of experience.
BUT….
‘From the time Barack Hussein Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator,
to
the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee,
he
logged 143 days of “experience” in the Senate. That’s how many days the
Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work
“experience,” Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader
of the Free World …. 143 days.
We all have to start somewhere. The senate is a good start, but after 143
days,
that’s all it is - a start.
AND, strangely, a large sector of the American public is okay with this
and campaigning for him. We wouldn’t accept this in our own line of work,
yet some are okay with this for the President of the United States of
America? Come on folks, we are not voting for the next American Idol! Get
real, he
would still be at the back end of the garbage truck after 143 days!
Of course Samantha totally dictated this to Lilo. I’m sure people are going to take advice from a D list actress who ruined her career by snorting, driving drunk and high. As for her being on the front cover of magazines, no she is not a celebrity Lilo but neither is your girlfriend and we have to suffer lookin at the two of you on a daily basis.
It is time Americans need to wake up and get out of their own habbits like of those Hollywood people.
Big talks, big dreams..etc are all delusions. Deal with the war first, get the oil, do the drilling, earn some money.
Contain the communists Chinese and Russians.
Get alliance like British.
Continue asserting influence and control in the world.
We don’t want the communists or cheapskate European people, who don’t even tip when they eat out.
what a bunch of ignorant tools that sit here and make up lies about obama/biden in a gossip blog. all i’m saying. coming from a polisci grad student and a child of a FORMER republican lawmaker–nothing will be more destructive than a mccain/palin presidency and a continuation of the last 8 years. please do not be distracted by their deviation from the issues, their blatant lies, the fact that palin looks like tina fey. this country was better before the bush family and all the little neocons that followed came along. the clintons fixed this country before the bush family broke it again, and mccain just seeks to continue destroying it. europe wants a better america because america shapes how the rest of the world works. when our country is screwed up, the world gets screwed up. vote for a better world. vote for obama and biden in november. a failure to do so would mean the downfall of this country. you’d just be burning rome.
drilling in ANWR and offshore will only help with not even 1% of american oil use, not to mention it will take 30 years to feel that 1%. it won’t even knock a dollar off the coast of oil per barrel, therefore won’t knock even 5 cents off your gas per gallon. learn a little and stop thinking with your bibles.
America is not ready for a black, muslim president. Are you all totally F****d up in the head? Other than liberals, do you seriously think that we would put someone into the American office he has ANY muslim background? This is not a time for civil rights. Our world has changed. If you think Sarah Palin scares you, well let me just tell you how most non-liberal Americans feel about putting OBAMA into the hot seat. I’ll move out of this country if he becomes president and I know a lot of others that will feel this way. They’ll be cheering in the streets of Iraq and Syria if he’s elected.
If ONLY they had put a REAL African American as a candidate for president, then maybe he’d have a chance. But he’s not African American, his great grandparents were not slaves in the south, he’s the freaking son of a muslim. What are you all smoking?
I never thought that I could possibly agree wholeheartly with Lindsay Lohan, but wow, I take my hat off to her. Voicing what the majority of the world outside the US feel (but seeing as how most Americans fail to realise that there is a world outside their borders, I doubt my sentiments will stand for anything).
Perhaps Samantha should actually read their immigrations plans before she pulls some crap out of her rear.
#167 No country aggressed the Usa, it was an international terrorist group. The world of today does not have for actors only states but also multinationals, organizations, etc. So actually the Bush gouverment is attacking a country that did not do nothing to them (I know that there weren’t rights there but it’s not the point) and that did not have arms of massive destruction, ONLY because there was oil and for geopolitics. And this killing USA soldiers all the time in name of nothing except the profit of big oil compagnies! #175 You are talking about the private life what has NOTHING to do with politics. #179 OMG??? Obama has no real identity? And you call yourself an american???? What are the United States after all? A UNITY, a mix of nationalities and ethnies that form a country. I am french and brazilian and I considerer myself FROM BOTH countries. I don’t have to choose between being one or another and Obama don’t have to choose if he is black or white : HE IS BOTH. I do have an identity, I am a mixture of cultures! you should be proud that you’re country is such a mix!!! In Brazil there are indians, blacks, whites, catholics, evangelists, muslims, jewish, asians and we are proud of being such an “international country”, In France there are arabs and muslims who are french too!
ok first of all, sarah palin has not commented on this at all. she has not said that she is attending or that she supports it. and if you are going to associate her church with her so directly what about obama’s church? and the pastor that thinks that all white americans got what they deserved on september 11th? his pastor is so un-american it is not even funny.
here is an article written by ronald kessler on newsmax.com
“We are a congregation which is unashamedly black and unapologetically Christian,” says the Trinity United Church of Christ’s website in Chicago. “We are an African people and remain true to our native land, the mother continent, the cradle of civilization.”
That’s just the beginning. The church has a “non-negotiable commitment to Africa,” according to its website, and its pastor, the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright, Jr. subscribes to what is called the Black Value System.
While the Black Value System includes such items as commitment to God, education, and self-discipline, it refers to “our racist competitive society” and includes the disavowal of the pursuit of “middle-classness” and a pledge of allegiance to “all black leadership who espouse and embrace the Black Value System.” It defines “middle-classness” as a way for American society to “snare” blacks rather than “killing them off directly” or “placing them in concentration camps,” just as the country structures “an economic environment that induces captive youth to fill the jails and prisons.”
In sermons and interviews, Dr. Wright has equated Zionism with racism and Israel with South Africa under its previous policy of apartheid. On the Sunday after 9/11, Wright said the attacks were a consequence of violent American policies. Four years later, Wright suggested that the attacks were retribution for America’s racism.
“In the 21st century, white America got a wake-up call after 9/11/01,” Wright wrote in a church-affiliated magazine. “White America and the western world came to realize that people of color had not gone away, faded into the woodwork or just ‘disappeared’ as the Great White West kept on its merry way of ignoring black concerns.”
Oh **** off you disease ridden *****. Who the hell do you think wants to hear from you.
My god… Of course this elitest ***** Lohan doesnt understand anything about drilling for oil in Alaska. LOHAN IS RICH! Do you think she cares about paying $5.00 a gallon in her brand new mercedes? So yeah Loham, it just shows how out of touch you liberal hollywood idiots are with the real world. SCREW these morons.
its true, these elite leftist celebrities are causing more harm than good. if i were them, id keep my pie hole crammed. fact is, obama is less prepared to be commander in chief of the united states of america than mccain OR palin. its quite entertaining how stirred up the dems are over one woman… maybe because they are sexist lowlifes, maybe because their paper bills mean more to them than feeding starving people, OR maybe, just maybe, because shes a threat to america’s (and hollywood’s) greedy, selfish, wasteful, consumerist, materialistic, narcissistic, way of life. lindsay lohan is one to talk…quite the role model she has turned out to be. whose the celebrity again? famous for exhibiting her cooch to the world, snorting lines, driving drunk, and entering re-hab all before the ripe age of 21. if i remember right, mccain is known as a maverick in washington for his independent views, his bipartisan democratic ethics, and for passing tough laws to reform one of the most bloated and corrupt governments in the world.
Lol, now I know why I don’t come here much anymore. Jared still being lame and posting people’s blogs.
lucy, i dont care what your opionion is, the only people that hate Bush are the psycho liberals who hate america, i dont like bush very much but it was the democrats who destroyed this country & it hasnt been the last 8 yrs so shut the hell up you dont know what your talking about, the first yr he was in office 9/11 happend which messed ueverything up to start but BUSH brought anmericans together, the past 3 years is when the econmy went bad & hmmm who was in charge, that would be the democrats so before you try to teahc me about my own country try reading some facts from both sides liberal & conservative evebn independent you read the papers & watch tv they are all liberals and hate bush so its biased but i dont care who you tell me to vote for or who you think i should vote fro i KNOW who im voting for THE BEST MAN FOR THE JOB (out of the two) MCCCAAIN
If these celebrity airheads are for Obama, it does not speak well for him.
You suck Linsay. You don’t know your #$%# from a hole in the ground. Who are you to have any opinion at all? Your just a self absorbed bimbo and rely on your supposed good looks as a platform to comment on matters that will determine the fate of the USA.
team lara croft, shut up u loser. You wont be swaying my vote! or anyone elses
If those two lesbians were truly feminist, hillary would have been their choice.
For now….MCCAIN/PALIN 08
Right he brought up americans together. That’s why you are so divided. I think Bush is very carismátic person. BUT I don’t think the US are the good guys of the world, no country is. You should read Le Monde, El Pais, El Clarin, Folha de Sao Paulo to make youself an opinion-and not repeating what mummy, daddy and the media tells you. I bet you don’t even know where Uruguay is or what is the capital of Luxembourg. You should look what happens in the WORLD.
