On not wanting to be famous right now: “I’ve done one movie. And it’s not a movie I want to stand on as far as acting ability goes. I mean—I’m not going to win an Oscar anytime soon. I’m not Meryl Streep.”
On Disney’s treatment of Miley Cyrus and Vanessa Hudgens sickening her: “They take these little girls…teach them how to sing and dance, and make them wear belly shirts, but they won’t allow them to be their own people. It makes me sick. I would never issue an apology for my life and for who I am. It’s like, Oh, I’m sorry I took a naked, private picture that someone … sold for money. … You shouldn’t have to apologize. Someone betrayed Vanessa, but no one’s angry at that person. She had to apologize. I hate Disney for making her do that.”
On dealing with anxiety: “Before I go onstage anywhere, I take a Xanax now.”
On hating Internet gossip: “The other day, I said I eat a lot of cake, and that was the top story on Yahoo!”
On thinking we shouldn’t be such prudes: “Sex is something that everyone does, so why can’t I talk about it?”

Well I take it back. I just read the article and the worst thing I can now say about her is that she is young. She actually sounds very idealistic and I never hold that against the young.

Megan, she had to apologize for Disney because part of her ‘tween’ contract means that she not engage in any risky behavior which could tarnish the Disney brand name, and NOT taking pics without cloths on defiantly would have been in her contract. I’m sure she had a clause about not being photographed like that, be it for personal or private use WHILE under contract with Disney. Period.
Don’t hate Disney for standing up for THEIR contractual rights, just chalk it up to a dumb girl who does not understand grown up consequences like Responsibility.
Disney did not break a contract, Vanessa did, it matters not if the pics were stolen or not. I really hope you are an out of work hasbeen tart and fast because you are an ignorant hyporcite and dumber than a box of rocks and your acting is crapola! Some of the worst I’ve ever seen, right there with Rachel Bilson! LOL
p.s Vanessa had a choice, she did not HAVE to work for Disney if she did not like the limitations of the contract.

well, you know. before angelina jolie was the mother of a brood of kids ,humanitarian to the world, and married to brad pitt, she definitely didn’t hold back on using her sexuality to advance her career. and she wasn’t classy about it either. so before you start calling megan out and comparing her to angie by saying she’s the poor man’s angelina jolie, how about if you compare them to each other when angie was at the exact same place in her career.
