OlderNikki Blonsky: I Love Zac Efron With Every Inch Of My Body
Nikki Blonsky gave Entertainment Tonight her first interview since her arrest last month. (Nikki’s family had an all-out brawl with former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden’s family at a Turks and Caicos airport.)
The 19-year-old actress says her friends and family have been there for her through it all, including her Hairspray castmates: “They have all been extremely supportive. We are a tight-knit family. We’re just happy to be back together. My family is my life. The best gift that I’ve even been given is my parents.”
Nikki says co-star Zac Efron has been a special source of strength for her, “I love him with every inch of my body and soul. He has been an amazing support system.”
Nikki is currently preparing her nightclub debut at Feinstein’s in New York City that will run from September 23rd to October 4th. Her special performance will feature songs from Broadway, the Great American Songbook and pop classics.

Some of you people are taking this all the wrong way. There was never any question of Zac being in love with Nikki. She’s saying he was supportive during a difficult time in her life. As a friend. And that’s very nice of him to do that.
But for her to make a gushy statement like that leads me to think that she’s using someone famous to draw attention to herself. And that’s not a very nice way to repay someone who has offered you support.
ah, poor nikki. why did she have to go and say that and bring more negative attention on herself? and on zac? poor zac. obviously she doesn’t know him very well or she’d know how much he values his privacy.

I thought it was tacky and even wrong to bring Zac into this at all, she could have just mention the whole cast as a whole and then dropped it.
And yes, like a said, Zac’s a great guy and I’m guessing that he’s a great friend and if she was such a great friend towards him she would have known that he is a private person and respected that. I really hope that no one ever takes advantage of that because he doesn’t deserve it at all.
I mean, lest year, not once did Vanessa bring up Zac while she dealt with the you-know-what, because she cares about him enough to not bring him into it and hurt him. Yes, the press did ask (more like shouted) about his opinion about it and show he reacted and stuff, but she kept him out of it like anyone who really cares about someone does, and yes, even if they were just friends, she still would have kept him out of it. It’s just what you do.
Oh well, either way, it is unnecessary to bash Nikki for her looks, and especially wishing that she would die? That’s just sick, and the same goes with those who bash Vanessa, none of them deserve it from people who don’t know them.
And I wouldn’t call myself a fan of Nikki, I’ve only seen one movie and a few interviews with her which isn’t nearly enough to call myself a fan, but I would never say anything bad about her.

Thanks for answering me about New Hampshire. I didn’t know if maybe Zac’s family had purchased a summer home there. It seemed kinda unlikely, but oh well. Didn’t want to miss anything! So thanks again.
There was another video with more of the story on it and the interviewer Thea asked Nikki is there anybody that you were surprised by that reached out too you and Nikki said there was this one amazing person who she loves with every inch of her body and that was Zac Efron who supported her through this time and has been a wonderful support system. So obviously as much as you haters would like to assume Zac and Nikki could not possible be friends they are so get over it. Zac cares enough about his friends to reach out there for them when they need him.
zac and vanessa are on vacation now wonder if they have heard of nikki gushing about zac. i’m sure they’ll shrug it off like they do all other media craziness. it doesn’t affect their private lives.
Zac is kind and obviously one of the few good guys in Hollywood. But it was in poor taste for Nikki to make such an effusive statement about her love for him. It’s way over the top and sort of drags him into her nightmare as some sort of sympathetic figure when he was most likely lending some support as any friend would.
Blah, blah, blah, blah. the girl made a comment about a tough time and you all think she just wants attention for knowing Efron? People are obcessed with him it’s scary. she’s a friend for goodness sake.
So Efron and Hudgens are vacationing again, huh. How sweet.
Nikki does have an “over the top” personality, which is OK. But I do agree that she is working for publicity by overstating her connection with Zac. The great thing is that Zac was a friend behind the scenes and did not make any big statements about being there for Nikki, etc, etc….Just another example of Zac’s class.
And it does bring up how much class Vanessa exhibited a year ago when the “scandal” broke. She accepted responsibility, apologized to her fans and never looked for others to blame. No bashing of the person who released the photos, no discussion of how Zac could have been involved or how he was supporting her, blah blah blah…
When people take about how horrible a role model Vanessa was for her mistake, I feel the complete opposite. Parents can teach their children that mistakes happen and that accepting responsibility is critical to moving on. You will come out ahead if you conduct yourself with humility and yet hold your head high!
After reading all the posts, I agree with the haters. Her personality is very annoying and she’s something of a drama queen( she knew mentioning Zac would get her press . I think she’s too over the top for Zac( and for rmost guys). If she can tone down her personality people will have a better opinion of her.

Good for Nikki . She has had to overcome a lot of hate in her life ( as evidenced by the cruelty on this site) and has such an outgoing personality.
She shows her appreciation for Zac in a very kind way and really makes him even more endearing to people He knows who she is and how she expresses her emotions and he doesn’t seem to have a problem with it or he would not have been there for her.
Her expression of love for him is truly as a dear friend and not a threat or attempt to derail ( go forbid ) the Zanessa love affair.
So much hate for one poor little girl who is finally expressing herself in a gracious way to the media. You Zanessa fans should be ashamed of how you degrade an obvious good friend of Zac Efron. Don’t any of you have any really good friends you love?………awful comments!

The bottom line is, 1) Zac and Nikki are friends. That’s all. Friends are supportive during tough times. 2) Vanessa has nothing to do with this subject. She knows Zac is her friend, nothing more. He has a lot of friends he’d do the same for. 3) No reason to bash Nikki. She is overly excitable, and didn’t mean to disrespect Vanessa or Zac.

Believe it or not, not all Zanessa fans hate Nikki…in fact you will be suprised to discover that the Zikki thread on fan forum was started by them. Most of the Zanessa fans ended up leaving the thread when it turned from a friendship thread into a shipping thread…a thread I posted on a few time when it was first started.
Look there is nothing wrong with expressing friendship for a member of the opposite sex through words or physical contact…but what she said was out of line.
I have no problem with her satement of him being “an amazing support system.” He has had numerous co-stars comment on his generous nature and easy going personality. The fact that he went from the airport straight to Vanessa following an international flight (when most people would have liked to sleep and shower first) is another example of that.
But statements like….“I love him with every inch of my body and soul,” are out of line considering that the guy is and has been involved in a serious relationship with another woman for 3+ years. Imagine someone saying something like that about your significant other…whether you are a jealous person or not…most people would find it out of line. That type of phrase is a very intimate phrase and and suggests that she cares for him as more than a close friend. Imagine your significant other saying something like that toward someone else and lets see if you are singing the same tune.
This girl bothers me so much! Her actions just get me so annoyed to the point where if i was standing right next to her i would just tell her to shut up.
I do think Zac and Nikki were good friends. Empasis on the WERE. They were shooting a movie. I’m sure they got close FRIEND WISE. You can’t seriously think he was crushing on her while dating Vanessa? I mean really. I see her more as “friend” material.
Then the movie ended and in my opinion, that was it. I’m sure they talk every month or so… but i’m almost positive if lets say Zac got a role the first person he WOULDN’T call.. would be nikki. Obviously Vanessa first, second. Then parents. Then.. well any other family member he talks to regularly. THEN.. maybe in a couple of weeks [or never] would he maybe call up Nikki and have a 2 minute conversation.
I see them as those kind of friends. And Zac’s a nice guy. Of course he’d call up and say “everything’s going to be okay” but she’s making it seem as though he rushed to her house to be with her through the “tough experience” and stayed by her while she slept. They’re not BEST friends i don’t think, but friends. And thats it. Her saying she loves him with blah blah is too much. Don’t even mention him! Why does it matter if the world knows? Why!? Just keep it to yourself.
Sadly i’m sure Nikki wants more and will not stop [sadly] until she becomes happy. Do not like that girl.
