OlderNikki Blonsky: I Love Zac Efron With Every Inch Of My Body
Nikki Blonsky gave Entertainment Tonight her first interview since her arrest last month. (Nikki’s family had an all-out brawl with former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden’s family at a Turks and Caicos airport.)
The 19-year-old actress says her friends and family have been there for her through it all, including her Hairspray castmates: “They have all been extremely supportive. We are a tight-knit family. We’re just happy to be back together. My family is my life. The best gift that I’ve even been given is my parents.”
Nikki says co-star Zac Efron has been a special source of strength for her, “I love him with every inch of my body and soul. He has been an amazing support system.”
Nikki is currently preparing her nightclub debut at Feinstein’s in New York City that will run from September 23rd to October 4th. Her special performance will feature songs from Broadway, the Great American Songbook and pop classics.

We have no doubt that Zac is a great friend, we’ve seen that expressed so many times with so many of his friends.
It’s good that Nikki appreciates his friendship.
However, being a friend, she must know how much his privacy matters to him and his dislike of being a target for the media and tabloids.
Neither his family nor his girlfriend nor his other friends and co-stars have expressed their feelings for him publicly (especially when talking to the press) in such a manner out of deference to his privacy.
I’m sorry but this makes me question her motives or even whether she really cares about what matters to him as opposed to what benefits her, else she would have expressed herself in a more professional and appropriate manner.

Zac seems to be a genuinely supportive person to his costars and friends. I’m sure he was there for her, but she is coming across as desperate and pathetic if that is actually what she said. I have to feel sorry for her.

Agreed, Vanessa really seems to believe that when she’s not around, Zac and Ashley will start to have s3x or something. JESUS! Yay! I am super happy to hear that all is goin well for Nikki in the aftermath of all this. Super happy she has a big support system, espeically nice to see that her and Zac and all other Hairspray cast members have stayed close. It shows that all of hollywood isn’t so damn superficial.
And you all do realize that the love she talks of doesn’t have to be romantic right? Like I love my best friends to death but never in ”that” way, people make it to be such a bigger deal than need be. They are close and very good friends, you love your friends. enough said. Why does there have to be such hateful talk about her and their realtionship and status.
