OlderNikki Blonsky: I Love Zac Efron With Every Inch Of My Body
Nikki Blonsky gave Entertainment Tonight her first interview since her arrest last month. (Nikki’s family had an all-out brawl with former America’s Next Top Model contestant Bianca Golden’s family at a Turks and Caicos airport.)
The 19-year-old actress says her friends and family have been there for her through it all, including her Hairspray castmates: “They have all been extremely supportive. We are a tight-knit family. We’re just happy to be back together. My family is my life. The best gift that I’ve even been given is my parents.”
Nikki says co-star Zac Efron has been a special source of strength for her, “I love him with every inch of my body and soul. He has been an amazing support system.”
Nikki is currently preparing her nightclub debut at Feinstein’s in New York City that will run from September 23rd to October 4th. Her special performance will feature songs from Broadway, the Great American Songbook and pop classics.

If Vanessa was a *jealous* girlfriend, i think he would’ve dumped her by now, and ashley and Vanessa are best friends. Vanessa has a lot of faith in her boyfriend, if she didn’t then i don’t think this relationship would be working out. They have been going out for 3 years. I respect Nikki and i admired her work in Hairspray, but you don’t day you love your friend with all your heart, body, and soul. It’s kinda scary. I met Vanessa and she is really nice, but we all tend to get a liitle moody/tired once in a while.

I am indifferent to either of these two as I have only seen Hairspray once at the request of a friend. I think the friendship they, and all the other cast for that matter, formed is geniune and you can see that in the exchanges they share.
To the Zac/Vanessa fans and Nikki ”haters”, you do realize how horrible and pathetic you make yourselfs sound correct? By going so awol over one simple comment, that in all honesty isn’t that big of a deal, you only show how threatened you are by Nikki. Calling her names doesn’t make you any better of a person, and makes Zac/Vanessa look bad as a whole. As fans of them you represent them and I dont’ think either of them would appericate being represented in the way you all have.
None of us know them beyond what we see on cameras so we have no right to judge what the depth of this comment means. I personally see no harm done other than complimenting what a great support Zac has been for Nikki during a hard time for her, like any friend would be. And if I were Vanessa I would be flattered if someone said something like that about my boyfriend, shows that he is a great guy and how lucky I would be. Plus I am sure she agrees whole heartedly and understands the friendship Zac and Nikki share.
The title and the picture were both strategic moves on Jared’s part to create contraversy and bring in the hits. Without clicking on the post I knew that there would be oodles of ”well that’s a lot to love” and claims of her being desperate and all that, you all are predicatble and pathetic.
We all have no rights to throw out accusastions and insults so I just say I am glad all is better for Nikki and continues down that path. Also the best to Zac in all that he does, have heard that new movie of his is really good.

This post has nothing to do with Vanessa or Zanessa - it’s showing what a great friend ZAC EFRON (and only Zac.. Not ‘Zanessa’) is. You try and call people who support a FRIENDSHIP crazy… look at all of you taking it upon yourselves to try and make public statements about them and their relationship. OK this made me slightly….uncomfortable. First off, I’m not a big fan as it is. Secondly, it’s disrespectful of her to say that when Zac is already involved in a serious relationship (haters…just….don’t). I know that it is possible for her to just mean it as in “Friendly Love” BUT why did she have to pinpoint Zac? I’m well aware that she did say her Hairspray co-stars were extremely supportive but then she went on and on about Zac leading all the way to “I love Zac with every inch of my body!”. I understand that she has little experience in these business but she should know by now that if you say something like that, people are going to speculate. I mean she could have said, “I love Zac, he’s blah, blah, blah….supportive”. Apparently that wasn’t enough to get her on the spotlight so she just HAD to make it more dramatic! She HAD her time to shine but didn’t because of hers and her father’s choices. Getting into a fight…*scoff*! I don’t do that and I’m not even in the entertainment world!!! I’m sorry but your comment does not show indifference, there is a definite bias but I wouldn’t go into that. I just like people to be upfront and honest, there’s no shame in admitting to be a Nikki fan.
I am an unabashed Vanessa/Zac fan. I don’t hate Nikki at all.
A lot of the mature Zac/Vanessa fans here that have commented are not hating on Nikki.
Our comments are on the inappropriateness of the expression not on the genuineness of the friendship so I don’t get why you need to put in your two bits on why you think the friendship is genuine even though you’ve only seen HS once and are indifferent.
The haters are tweens who are also abusing Vanessa which you obviously missed.
If you think Nikki expressed herself professionally and appropriately to the press about a co-star and friend who values his privacy, then that is your opinion, state it and go your way.
Don’t try to make Zac and Vanessa fans look bad or conclude that any Nikki hater is a Zac/Vanessa fan, that’s not right.
I still maintain that while Zac and Vanessa might appreciate that Nikki appreciates Zac’s friendship, I doubt they would be flattered by the attention this kind of statement would bring to them, seeing as they’ve been trying to stay out of the media spotlight and knowing that with HSM 3 promotions coming up in less than a week, they’re going to be under the full glare of the media.

I totally agree! I personally am a Zac & Vanessa fan and I have nothing against Nikki or Vanessa. The two of them seem very nice and yes, have made their mistakes, but to claim hate and wish them death!! That’s just sad, and truly shows how corrupted out society is. None of us PERSONALLY know these people. We have never truly met them and got to know them. I can we form a proper opinion of them with what the public knows. We are all just being biased with our opinions. I am not saying everyone has to LOVE Zac or Vanessa or Nikki, it is okay to dislike them, but to hate either of them is rude and just upright wrong.
Forget about past mistakes or you can never move on. If a person truly dislikes either Vanessa or Nikki, they truly wouldn’t care of what they do. I support Zac & Nikki`s friendship and Zac & Vanessa`s relationship. Nikki and Zac seem like good friends, and Zac and Vanessa seem to be very happy and in love in their relationship.
I personally ask Jared to remove this article. It creates untrue and unkind rumors. Her words could be taken out of context, make this article more appropriate and kinder to the feelings of Nikki, Zac, Vanessa and their TRUE friends.
I think it’s sweet that Zac has been supportive of her……….I would not expect less of such a great guy.
