Hey Naomi and Betty, it’s great to see some rational people here.

There is nothing wrong with Nikki’s friends being supportive of her, but why the need to single out Zac specifically? Doesn’t it insult the other friends that he was the only one mentioned by name?

Oh, and unless I am mistaken, I failed to see where she thanked those friends for being supportive.

Nikki is no threat to their relationship. She is really just a friend, and that’s fine!! Glad Nikki had some friends to support her through the ordeal. And it’s not over yet. Everyone just needs to chill over this whole thing!!!

i think it’s very low class of nikki to drag zac into her problem. he had nothing to do with her getting arrested. i’m sure other members of the hair spray cast called her and offered support. but she respected them and didn’t mention their names.

so why does she drags zac into it by saying what she did? thinking as an adult, i can only assume she’s too young to understand the significance of what she said or that it would put the media spotlight on zac. something he does not want.

he seems like such a great, genuine guy. people like him are hard to come by.

I think it’s great what Nikki said here. Both she and Zac have talked about what good friends they were, and Zac has said that he became closest to Nikki and Brittany, beyond the movie. I’m glad to hear that Zac has been a great support to her, as friends should be. Nikki and Zac have never been shy about saying how close they became and how much they care about each other. I’ve seen time and time again what good friends they are, whether we see them out together or not. And this is another example of it. I think that Zac is someone that holds his friends very close to him, and when he has become friends with someone, they seem to be friends for life.

I think the Zanessa fans are pathetic for being jealous like this. Sure I’d love the idea of Zac and Nikki being something more, and who knows what might have happened or might happen in the future, but it doesn’t really matter. What I like about them is how close their friendship became, how affectionate and attentive they were together, and how much they genuinely care for each other. And it DEFINITELY is not one sided. It was usually Zac who reached out to take Nikki’s hand or put his arm around her during Hairspray promotion, so if her words are more vocal, his actions were more evident. And what really matters is that they’re friends and still close, and I think it’s great!

Also, to thos people criticizing Nikki for her weight, she has actually lost quite a bit of weight in the last year, as more recent pictures (e.g. the MTV Movie Awards) show, and she’s looking great, and very healthy. But that has nothing to do with her friendships. Her weight doesn’t matter to her friends, why should it matter to anyone else?

Also, anyone that has read or heard anything more than the most cursory initial reports of her Turks and Caicos incident will see that Nikki was attacked for basically no reason, and she defended herself, and her father defended her as well. Eyewitnesses have been clear about it, and one eye witness even said as much on camera.

Betty, I really think you’re being ridiculous in thinking that Nikki saying she loves Zac with every inch of her body is suggestive or inappropriate. She has said on numerous occasions that she loves him. I think it’’s cute that she is so open with how she feels. And I don’t think she says anything like that to try to interfere with your precious Zanessa. I’m sure that she and Vanessa get along fine, although I’d think Nikki would have questionable respect for Vanessa (as I certainly do) but she probably tolerates her as anyone would tolerate the person their friend was dating, like her or not. And who knows, maybe she even does like her, and they get along great.

Frankly, I don’t care that much for Zanessa, but it is the Zanessa fans that make them make me sick quite a bit of the time. I adore Zac, I tolerate Vanessa, but the Zanessa shippers drive me up the wall.

why can’t we just leave Vanessa and Zanessa out of this!?

seriously why bring them into now here in the post by JJ does Nikki mention Vanessa. we have no idea how these two girls get along! in fact if anything i would say that Vanessa is just proud of Zac for being such a great friend to Nikki!

I’m a Vanessa fan and i think Zanessa is cute but seriously there no need for some of the stuff that was said about Nikki especially in regaurds to her and Zac’s relation ship. zac and Nikki are FRIENDS and i think that is sweet!

and all you reall vanessa friends should know what a lovely girl she is and i would like to bet that she had tried to support Nikki too since she knows what its like to be dragged through the press like Nikki was.

I think it’s time to be mature-I tell my dear friend I love him all the time BUT I DO NOT nor WOULD I EVER tell anyone I love him with every inch of my body and soul. WHY? because that would be an open disrespect to his present lady and also inimates a different kind of love then one of friendship. Those are the words of someone in love which is not the same of friendship.
