Check out Pink’s new CD cover for Funhouse, the fifth studio album set to be released on Tuesday, October 28th.
The 29-year-old singer recently voiced her opinion about the Republican vice-presidential nominee: “If I were writing a letter to Sarah Palin, it would be a lot of whys and hows. Who are you? Do you know? Why do you hate animals? Please point out Iraq on a map … This woman hates women. She is not a feminist. She is not the woman that’s going to come behind Hillary Clinton and do anything that Hillary Clinton would’ve been capable of … I can’t imagine overturning Roe vs. Wade. She’s not of this time. The woman terrifies me.”
And speaking as an animal rights activist, Pink suggests animals should be just as scared of Palin as much as humans: “I can’t imagine shooting a wolf out of a helicopter.”

If you don’t believe in God, or consequences to your actions, then sure, there is no reason why abortions should not be legal.
However, your argument is flawed with the “a fetus is nothing but a clump of cells” stance. An adult human being is nothing more than an advanced clump of cells. Cells that in the end, will die and turn to dust.
If there is no God, then there is no real purpose for existence. The Universe is a very terrible place, and for all intents and purposes, is Anti-life. So, in the end, even if we manage to make ourselves Godlike and are able to travel the stars, sooner or later ALL energy will burn out of the Universe and there will be nothing left but darkness. Either that, or the universe will eventually be nothing but Black Holes. So all of your poetry, music, kitty cats, cars, money, sex, lust, passion, sorrow, will be consumed and crushed for all eternity in the heart of a black hole.

Animals can feel pain. And yes, they can think and feel. They a ALIVE and are independent, innocent beings.
An innocent animal has more of a right to live than a fetus.

Someone must be a real idiot if they think a little clump of cells with no thoughts or feelings is a baby. Its a PARASITE.
Definition:
Parasite: An organism that lives in or on and takes its nourishment from another organism. A parasite cannot live independently.
That perfectly describes an embryo or fetus. An embryo or fetus is NOT viable. It can NOT live outside the womb, it needs its HOST (the mother) to survive. Unless the mother WANTS to be the host, she has EVERY right to have an abortion.
Until the fetus is viable, the woman can do whatever she pleases with her body. HER body, HER life. You can’t force a woman to carry a child she doesn’t want, that’s sick. What kind of world do we live in that there are still primitive fools out there who think they have a right to tell a woman what to do with HER body?

i think that all of you people out there who are all for NO women’s rights should take a second and put yourself in their situation. what if you were fifteen and stupid enough to get pregnant? would you honestly want a baby? Jane, I can completely understand what you’re saying about circumstances involved with an unplanned pregnancy - and I am 100% pro-choice - but do NOT use the argument that it is not a baby that is being killed. You can argue semantics all you want, but they/you/whoever are indeed aborting a person.
And I think the reason that people who support the troops aren’t “up in arms” in comparison to people with a problem with abortion, as someone else said, is because the adults who are in Iraq made a choice to serve in the armed forces, fully aware that they could and most likely would be called upon for this type of duty. They made a CHOICE to join the military.

Has everyone forgotten that Sarah Palin is the Vice Presidential candidate? She seems to the the one pitted against Obama in this election - apparently she is someone the Dems are worried about having the ability to tip the scales in favor of the Republicans. Hilarious.
What I dont understand is, how come everyone else is allowed an opinion, but as soon as a celebrity says something… they should “shut their mouth and stick with what they are good for” pretty sure they have the same rights as we do. It just so happens that reporter asks them the question and its taped or written down. So just as you wouldnt want someone to shut you up, leave her alone…

Why should someone who has never met me or been in my shoes tell me what to do with my body! (now i’ve never had an abortion) That is something I have to deal with personally, I dont need a stranger telling me what to do.

You are all about the “poor helpless babies”. That is so Replican!!! You only care about ’sounding’ PC. What about when those “poor defenseless babies” are born into a family that doesn’t care about them. Or they are abused sexually and physically, and they grow up to be serial killers or rapist? Because of being neglected emotionally/physically! (which many of them turn out to be!) (I know from experience I am in the Criminal Justice Field) Do you guys care about them then?!?! Or is it only when they are poor helpless babies!!
