Ben Barnes is Dorian Gray
Ben Barnes films some rainy scenes on the set of his latest film, Dorian Gray, in Central London on Monday.
The 27-year-old actor plays Oscar Wilde’s title character, a corrupt young man who somehow keeps his youthful beauty eternally, but a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all.
Dorian Gray, which also stars Colin Firth, Rebbeca Hall and Emilia Fox, will be released in the fall of 2009 in Britain.

I’ve only just finished reading the book and from what I’ve heard about this movie,it’s going to be quite different from it.To tell you the truth,while I was reading I somehow always imagined Dorian to be a dark and feisty young man,just as they are representing him now with Ben Barnes,who seems like a promising actor and hasn’t acted a bad movie so far.So,I guess only time will tell!
He’s extremely pretty and yes, a good actor, but Dorian Gray WAS meant to have blonde hair and blue eyes. I always thought of him as being a lot less masculine. They could have picked better as far as looks are concerned, but Ben will do.

stuart townsend is the best choice for dorian gray cause he is soooo hot and sexy and he has acharming look so he is perfect for the role but ben dosent suit with the role….
