The 22-year-old actress just blogged earlier this morning about her experience shooting the TV show: “2 days left of my shoot on Ugly Betty-I am quite sad to have to leave the wonderful cast and crew behind. It’s always sad to leave people that you get close to… It’s been such a delight to be a part of this show!!-My sister, Aliana, is visiting me on set today and I loooove having her around… she makes me smile, just like another certain someone :) love you baby xoxo”. (That was a subtle reference to DJ gal pal Samantha Ronson.)
The Mean Girls star also recently lashed out at vice-presidential hopeful Sarah Palin on her blog, calling her a “narrow-minded, media-obsessed homophobe.”

It’s like everyone is just bashing on her and taking pleasure in it. It seems like she can do no right despite the fact that she is clearly trying to turn her life around, is working and seemingly happy and healthy. I think people should just cut her some slack, being a recovering addict is a slippery slop and you need support not constant ridicule and people making moral judgment about your past.
Noone really knows her , so people should refrain from making sweeping statements about her character. She is young she made some mistakes as a teenager, who didn’t, difference is she made it under the maginifying glass of the media and huge pressure. I hope she makes a killer comeback to prove the haters wrong!
