Beauty and brains Rachel Weisz glows on the October 2008 cover of Vogue.
The 37-year-old British actress was photographed in New York City’s East Village back in July by Craig McDean. She looked extra lavish in her bright red Giles knit sweater and skirt during the trick-or-treat-themed photo shoot. And here’s some samples of Rachel’s interview:
On describing the person she became for the photographs in this cover shoot: “I remember someone once telling me that the definition of good styling is when you look at the picture and you want to be the woman in the photos. Well, I want to be that girl!”
On cutting down her workload in order to accommodate director husband Darren Aronofsky’s career and take care of her son Henry: “Things get more complicated when you have a child.We can’t both be working at the same time.”

Love the cover and love the photographs. Rachel is such a sweetheart and a great actress.
Her best film was “About a Boy” with Hugh Grant. She was also really good in Runaway Jury with John Cusack. She is gorgeous and a quite good actress. Hated the Constant Gardner. Terrible movie.
she’s gorgeous. i was sad when i heard she wasn’t back for the third mummy movie… then i saw it… and realized that was a good decision on her part.
Rachel is such a great actress and very versatile as well. I loved the Constant Gardner and i saw the Brothers Bloom in Toronto and loved that film as well. One of the few great actresses working today.
She is now 37 years old almost like Cate Blanchett .Julianne Moore is older but at the same age she did great author’’s movies.I can’t say that about RW even if I like her acting(and the role) in Constant Gardner .I guess she wants to be like Cate and Julianne (same kind of movies but not the same quality).Well his man did bad movies and the last I remember she played in:it was totally a mess (The fountain something like that).She is more charming than a true beauty in real life (see photos that Justjared posted)

Rachel is a gorgeous woman. A chameleon who can rock any look. So, I don’t understand why Anna Wintour would use a cross-eyed picture of her for the cover. Maybe Rachel should not pose dead on for the camera as it may not be her most flattering look. But they could have chosen a better pic.
I consider Rachel the best actress working today and her range and talent is uncanny. She always give a great performance and she is a real beautiful woman. Love the photos.
This is with out a doubt the best cover of Vogue this year. Rachel looks fabulous and she’s a great actress to boot.
YES this is her REAL son, Henry Chance Aronofsky with boyfriend Darren Aronofsky.
The child is a gorgeous doll, like his mum but blonde.
