Beyonce Role Plays Police Officer

This comment is for the new song that just aired today by Beyonce Knowles, titled, “If I were a Boy”. It really doesn’t sound like Beyonce was very original with this song and title. Ciara just came out last year or the year before last with a title, called, “Like a Boy. Now don’t get me wrong, I am a huge fan of Beyonce, however, it really doesn’t display originality when she out right uses almost the same titles in her songs.
Beyonce has a huge fan base and really wouldn’t need to display this type of behavior. She, has definitely made a name for herself and has definitely had a successful music career thus far, considering she’s obtained 10 grammys. That says alot in its own.

I had to write because it was just a disappointment to hear this. And, it may not have been intended to sound or have the same concepts as Ciara’s song, but with Beyonce being a Sr. in game if you will, I would think that she would have wanted to put out music that is truly her own and original concepts. There’s no need to try and compete with the newer artist, let your music speak for itself like Alicia Keys does, selling 2 million copies within the first week of her album dropping. Alicia Keys is very original and does not have to compete with anyone. Beyonce should feel and demostrate that same style. And trust me, this is not hate mail or anyone hating on Beyonce, its merely constructive critisim as a fan and music lover of all her music. Best Wishes.
