Dakota Fanning Gets Hounddog Happy
Dakota Fanning arrives at the New York premiere of Hounddog at the Village East Cinemas in New York City on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old actress plays Lewellen, a young girl who grows up down South in the ’50s and worships Elvis Presley. Deborah Kampmeier directs the film and Robin Wright Penn makes an appearance in the film.
The film had its debut at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival and hits theaters this weekend.

“A tur role model for young people” Have you heard what her role is in that movie? They had to go back and re-film more than half of that movie to clean it up.

She’s absolutely stunning. I saw Hounddog, the “scandal” of the rape thing was blown SO out of proportion. You only see her face, she’s old enough to know about and understand rape. and she’s a good actress.
She is a great role model, and it’s so refreshing to see at the moment what with all the disney stars getting ****** and taylor momsen turning into a crack *****. Nuff said.

wow, she’s so pretty ! I really really like Dakota :) . No scandals and she’s on TOP ! I like her shirt, but don’t like her shoes. I think she should wear mary-jane shoes, not high heels.

Dakota Fanning is going to be a really pretty girl in a Kate Winslet kind of way. I think she will grow up just fine. She’s really smart and grounded and i think her parents have done a good job. I think she will probably go to college like Jodie Foster, Natalie Portman, Emmy Rossum, and Ann Hathaway did. Dakota is A-list classy, not like those publicity whores who call the media to make sure they get photographed clubbing all night.

I love this girl! I’ve always wondered what kind of actress she’d be as she got older, or whether she’d still be working at this age. But, she seems to be growing up beautifully and still doing well as an actress. I can see her being kind of a Laura Linney/Diane Lane type as an adult.

Now THIS is how a 14 year old is SUPPOSE to look. This girl has great parents. Much unlike Ali Lohan whose parents are pimping her out to look like a sex starved 18 year old.

Her parents seem to be doing a fantastic job. I like the top and the shoes.
I have to admit though they should have her teeth fixed properly. She used to make between 5 & 10 MILLION dollars per picture so they can afford to have her teeth corrected.
She’s a breath of fresh air in terms of teen “stars” and has actual talent.
