Daniel Craig is a Broken Bond
SEXIEST MAN IN A SLING
Daniel Craig, who reprises his role as James Bond this Fall in Quantum of Solace, is seen with his right arm in a sling while out in London on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old British actor was accompanied by longtime girlfriend Satsuki Mitchell.
Back in June, Daniel also was injured on the set of Quantum. He was rushed to hospital after hurting himself.
Quantum of Solance opens in theaters everywhere on Friday, November 14.

That’s interesting. What exactly does Satsuki do then? Whjy is she there? Does she help him make business choices or what?
Isn’t that what his manager is for? She sounds like an agent. Is she getting paid for this? She must be one hell of negotiator..does she discuss his salary too?
Her “role” is confusing.
Daniel needs to realize then that he might not need her after all. Is he that co-dependent?
I agree, she has the perks and a good salary. There might be “love” involved but it sounds like more business.
I read one post from someone saying that they are both concentrating on his career.
What does she bring to his career that he can’t get from a great agent/manager? She can’t be that much of a powerhouse in the business.
While she is “helping” him with the business side, she is carving out her own career as being a “top” force to be dealt with within the film business.
She is being exposed to top notch people and making sure her name is getting known aside from being his gf.
Daniel is helping her by having her help him. Simple. I think he wants her respected as a business woman not just as his gf. That’s his aim here.
If things between them go belly up, she will have then have her options.
The if he brings her to PR meetings and has her fingers in all of his pies, she should be well in touch with how she is perceived by some of his fans then.
Does she care? Most likely not, does he? Most likely not.
She won’t disappear behind a pillar anytime soon, in fact, I suspect we will see more of her.
I wonder how many PR meetings have been held to discuss her?

I’m sure many of those PR meetings was to discuss that! Seems to be working.
Having friends in high places really help I guess.
Why would people in the business go to her if they can’t stand her and find her intrusive??? Getting along with people is also part of human relations. I think he needs to analyze the benefits of her misguided harsh rudeness and his career. I can see this backfiring.
He sounds kind of weak minded to allow her to have this type of influence. Who needs her with that type of personality?? Yeah he sure could be co-dependent. Also, she sounds like a user

Backfiring how? On his career? His decision making with scripts has not been brilliant so far apart from Bond and Defiance…if he is listening to her advice then maybe he needs to be a little more assertive. He survived without her advice for many years before.

personally I think both of their “goals” is to have him win an Oscar. He’s hungry for one and she will revel in it.
when pierce brosnan shows up for a meeting he will sometimes bring his wife keeley. guess what, this lady is a joy to have around. she is polite, respectful and considerate of all who are present. she doesn’t talk down to us as though we are less than her equal. we are more than happy to see her come. same cannot be said for satsuki.

I don’t understand having a relationship with someone who has an unpleasant personality. Wouldn’t that be humiliating while she is rude and talking down to people? If he likes that behavior then what does it say about him? On some level it seems rather pathetic and sad. I honestly never liked her, now I know why.
To #98 i understand what you are saying, but what i’m trying to say is it doesn’t matter what Satsuki looks like, what clothes she wears or how rude she is to people, Daniel still loves her.
She’s still by his side 24/7. She’s wearing a huge chunk of ice on her ring finger from him. He’s let her become involved in the business side of his career, so he must trust and value her input/opinion.
Let’s face it if she is as rude as you say she is, Daniel must know about it/seen it. He obviously knows whats she’s like and it doesn’t bother him as she’s still there because thats what he wants.
Forgot to add the down fall to Satsuki being so involved in the ‘business’ of his career is that the relationship can soon develop into a business relationship rather than a loving one. I’ve seen it happen to people i know. It’s very sad to see.

Going out on a limb here…maybe that was the intention all along - a business agreement covered up by a “romance”, a ring, hints at marriage, affection, etc. Of course, the opposite could be happening as well - business (still) but blossoming into romance. Either way that would explain Sats being there 24/7 and at business meetings.
Once again who knows? But it should be interesting to see how this plays out IMO next month when QOS comes out with all the premieres. I hope for the best for both of them. IF she is still by his side then I would expect an announcement - official engagement, marriage, pregnancy, etc. at that time - or at least in the coming months.
But I will be pretty disppointed if that was the “ruse”. Then the laugh is on us nosey and gullible fans who took it hook, line and sinker.. ;)

publicity pics together on red carpet, encouraging speculation by wearing a ring on the red carpet, she is mentioned in every article about him, the whole thing looks is a choregraphed PR exercise, i suspect its because dan doesn’t want a repeat of the sienna miller episode, he must of been emotionally hurt by the made up stories saying he slept with his friends gf.

Clara - i’ve seen pics of him leaving a gym with Satsuki, but have not seen a video. I have to say Daniel looked if you excuse the expression as fit as f**k in the pics!!! ; )

BTW the pics by the captions were taken around the filming of “The Golden Compass”… so about a year an a half or 2 years ago???
i’ve seen the pics, dan looks all sexy and scruffy in his workout gear, i could of sworn there was a video though, nevermind

yeah, we got that daniel loves her and wants her around. but that still doesn’t take away the bad feelings some people have concerning her. you know what; pierece brosnan values his wife’s opinion as well. but guess what keeley shaye smith is kind, respectful of all; even to the young intern whoses job it is to provide the beverages etc for the meeting. she leaves everyone wanting to see her again. satsuki does the opposite. that doesn’t say much for daniel’s girlfriend now does it?
