How arrogant of him to walk down the isle AFTER everyone else was seated, and holding up the show for a few minutes..AND stopping to shake hands with his friends???

Like I said in the previous thread, I was at the preview last night and I was pissed the way Tom entered. He waited till everybody was in their seats and the lights were about to go down and then he entered like the king! He was a total jerk about it. He made it seem like it was all about him. The whole play had to be delayed while he shook hands with his friends. On top of that, I sat 2 rows behind him and he kept talking to a woman who was sitting next to him who was obviously his friend cause he kissed her before he sat down. It was soooooo rude! He was disrespectful to Katie and the rest of the cast. I wasn’t crazy about him before but now I really hate him. I hope he doesnt go to anymore shows (fat chance).

He didn’t have to watch from backstage. He could have taken his seat earlier (like 15-20 mins before curtain) this way there would be time to say hello to his friends and not disrupt the start of the play. He was plain rude. Like it was all about him. I honestly don’t know what such a sweet girl as Katie is doing with him! I was pissed and so were other people in my row. People were rolling their eyes and laughing!!

Oh yea, someone asked if Suri or Tom’s kids were there. No they weren’t. I looked around cause I wanted to see gorgeous Suri in person, but no luck. Besides, a Broadway play is not the right place for a baby anyway. As far as his kids, no luck there either. Tom just sat with friends who he kissed when he got into the theater. Some were in the same row as him and some were in front of him. Also Dustin Hoffman was at the end of my row, 2 rows back from Tom.

Katie did really well. I think Tom should stay home from now on tho. Those protesters were there because of him not Katie!!

They are such a boring and fake couple, that’s what i say…and Katie looks terrible dressing like that and wearing no make up

Why does it not surprise me that Tom made such a big ruckus when he arrived in the theater. God, what a disrespectful IDIOT! He did the same thing when Batman Begins premiere. He made the whole thing about him, him, him! Jumping over barricades, running over to reporters, kissing all over Katie, yelling to fans when Michael Caine was giving interviews, running past Christian Bale during an interview. It was obnoxious. I was at Leicester Square for the premiere cause I’m a Katie fan and he was a real douche. I wanted to get her autograph but she stood back and let him sign all the autographs even tho people were yelling for her!

Like you said Joey and Pacey fan, he was disrespectful!!!!!!!! I think he could have entered the theater way before everyone else too! In London, he could have went inside the theater, but nooooooooooo….he had to stay outside making a fool of himself and being disrespectful to Bale, Caine and everyone else. He has a giant ego. I wish Katie never married him.

What a hot pair! I would admire them if they protest real worthy causes. Katie is living her life and its none of our business. They are not there for Americans in great need like the Ike and Katrina victims or rallying support for our troops and their loved-oned because they are obsessed about Tom and Katie! The Broadway boards are all praises for Katie. Tom is the man and you cant stop that. Its not his fault fans are cheering him and came to see Katie and a glimpse of her family.

This is the funniest comment I’ve read yet. Yipee #56, would you please give us the links to all the “praise for Katie”. You can’t because there are none other than the praise from Tom Cruise who is saying she was good so hopefully he can get ticket sales up and recoup some of his investment in getting Katie out of LA. He wants her to be successful then he won’t have to pay her as much when he boots her ass out.

#69, there actually many people who have praised her performance. All you have to do is click on the “Associated Press” link that Jared posted and see for yourself.

Uh I believe it said he was talking to the AP when he said “Did you see it?”…not the crowd. Again, I say Tom is known to be one of the most gracious people in Hollywood…leave him alone. They look great and in love….you all must be jealous of them. That’s the only reason I can see for all the bad karma. Do we really know that Tom is still involved with Scientology…for several years he was not active at all…

Tom and Katie are lucky to have each other. They are strong together.
