Katie Holmes: My Opening Night On Broadway
Katie Holmes is all smiles during the curtain call of the opening night of previews for her Broadway play All My Sons on Thursday at New York City’s Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre.
Before the show, the 29-year-old actress and costar John Lithgow stood outside the theater to take photographs for paparazzi and fans.
Husband Tom Cruise, of course, was there on opening night to lend his support.
On stage, Katie looked positively fantastic in that hair and dress! Reviews for the show should be up in the morning, so stay tuned…

I’ll be interested to see what the industry reviews are like for her performance. She looks like herself in the pictures of the curtain call. It’s nice to see.

TO RESIST…..What in the world are you complaining about?….Why would you post something like THAT here?….ODD……I hope Katie’s performance will improve with time for all of those who got to see it…AND, did not like it…….LAGOON CREATURE, stated that Katie did NOT hang around and greet her fans, which I’m shocked about….It seems to me that the extra attention to her fans, would have helped her along on her new career path….I wonder if Weist, Lithgow and others greated any fans outside?
@ 45. I watched “To Die For” a few days ago. Sounds like that Lydia character really struck a chord with you!
It isn’t that she looks so rale thin as most said about her it’s that she is standing next to John Lithgow and a bunch of other actors that are all large, tall and a bit overweight that make her look tiny next to them! She actually looks like a real woman small and dainty not Amazonish and butch like when she towers over her midgit husband and others . Especially when she’s wearing those large heals! New flash Katie just cause they make them doesn’t mean you should wear them!! Not all shoes look good on people! You are way to tall to wear 5 in. heels with platforms!!! Her husbands crotch comes to her knees! LOL Makes him look like a child next to her!
Finally more can see how beautiful and a real actress Katie is. Its high time people also flock to real art and a real play not because two women make out or some actress showed her nips on stage. More teens should watch entertainment like this not trash like Gossip Girl.

So, the highest praise outside that of her husband (she is extraordinary) is that she didn’t embarrass herself or anyone and was fine….good but I daresay that a Tony nomination is like a mirage.

And it’s not fair to blame Cruise for the protesters. They shouldn’t have been protesting at an unrelated event and Holmes is a Scientologist herself. People are too hard on Cruise.
He’s too famous to have to steal anything, #49. Shaking hands and greeting friends isn’t exactly playing it up. Can you really call that making a scene. (Technically he did make a scene but it’s not exactly his fault).

Culty Katie still has that fake silly smile on her face, as she approaches the camera’s. Watching a video of her coming out of the theatre with Lithgow, she could not say one word except ” fine “, when asked how she did. I would have thought after all the pubilicty she got before the play, she could have spoken more words and spoke with her fans, who will obviously make or break her Broadway career. Tom did not wire her properly for handling the throngs of culty Katie seekers by herself. She obviously needs Tommy-toon, to speak and guide her around. It is the only time she ever smiles at anyone. Maybe that is why he holds her hand so tightly. There is an electronic button in her hand that he presses for her to ” go on command”. Kate-E, “SMILE”… “Kate-E, ” speak one word”, Kate-E ‘ put your arm around my neck”. Kate-E ” walk away then turn and wave to show everyone your designer dress and new hairy-do”. And we all thought he was abusing her by his constant hand control. NOW, we know why.
