Katie Holmes: Showtime!
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise arrives at the Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York City on Friday night.
Audience reviews of Katie’s performance has been pretty positive with most people believing she did a solid job.
And from a slightly biased perspective, husband Tom Cruise thought she was extraordinary!

I’m not downplaying Katie’s performance. People said she was fine and I believe it. But, I stick by my words that the part is not a highly challenging one. It’s actually one that is close to her own personality.

The shocker of all is Friedman from Fox news saying nice things about Katie and even insulting the Anonymous group. I know for sure if TomKat grants his dream interview with them then his tune will change about this couple,their careers and family.

Creature, posters like Dancer are the only ones on here who make any kind of coherent, rational sense in stating valid opinions. But I guess that would be weird to someone like YOU.
What’s weirder—twenty different people firing off honest and/or critical comments based on the new photos shown here at this gossip site of Katie Holmes every single day, or one person alone compiling and reviewing twenty comments at a time in order to try to “defend” Katie Holmes from these comments, one by one?

Did anybody notice that right after all the bad publicity about poor ticket sales for AMS a couple of months ago, the producers (one is supposedly a cult member) came back within just days and announced that advanced ticket sales had suddenly gone from under $1 million (disastrous) to $3.5 million and that the play was not hurting at all? The producers left one small detail out…..Tom Cruise bought the $2.5 million that were practically sold overnight.
So for all you here who live in some fantasy world about Katie’s ability to act, even with big names (Lithgow, Weist, and Wilson) this play about closed before it opened because people figured if Holmes is in it, it can’t be good…which, by the way, is completely rational.
You can make dirt into gold by wishing it were so!
Actually, Britney Spears is a better actress than Katie. She appeared in a sitcom a couple of times and was much more skilled than Holmes.
Correction: YOU CAN’T MAKE DIRT INTO GOLD BY WISHING IT WERE SO!!!!

did she get the standing ovation or did the cast? I could care less for her one way or the other but the fact that it has become the Katie Holmes play is a bit annoying. She isn’t the lead!! The rest of the cast must be annoyed too…
Love them love them to bits. I am so happy for Katie. Haters suck that. I know even the reviews will be great.
Katie is a superb actress. The theatre was so full. Pictures on TMZ show that the theatre was so full. Over 100 fans were outside to support her too. I am a huge Katie Holmes fan. I wish I was there.
