if any of yall actually read what Jared puts CAREFULLY, u’d notice how it says “AUDIENCE reviews” meaning, people who’ve seen the show, not real critics! idiots.. stop getting on Jared’s back!

Jared must’ve edited that to read “audience reviews.” When I read it last night, that was NOT how it read. Perhaps he’s realizing just because he says something doesn’t make it so.

did she get the standing ovation or did the cast? I could care less for her one way or the other but the fact that it has become the Katie Holmes play is a bit annoying. She isn’t the lead!! The rest of the cast must be annoyed too…

The whole cast got a standing ovation, not just Katie. I was there so I know. John Lithgow, Pactrick Wilson, Diane Weist and Katie are all pro’s and they all deserved it together. Katie was OK in the part. She did fine but everyone got the ovation, not just her. Its an insult to the other theater veterans to say otherwise and its not true.

I’m really happy for Katie that she did well and I hope she gets even better as time goes on, which I think she will!

I also hope that Tom doesn’t keep going to the show every nite. He was rude when he walked in right before the curtain went up and held up the show. I didn’t appreciate that. They made it sound like everybody was so thrilled to see him but thats not what I saw. Some people were excited, sure. But it wasn’t like the whole audience was all about him! I think he has a problem. I think he was jealous that Katie was getting all the attention and he wasn’t! He could have sat down earlier so he wouldn’t have delayed the show but he didn’t. He also didn’t need to walk in with a bunch of bodyguards (like 3) like he did. He did it to attract attention to himself and that sucks! He needs to go back to LA so Katie can have her time in the spotlight.

just how do you know that jared is lying about getting some positive reviews about katie? you ever hear of the internet?? people who were there last night emailed what they thought about katie to jared. i should know i was one of those people. that’s because i was in the audience last night. were you?? i didn’t think so. let’s be clear i’m not necessarily a katie fan nor do i hate her. but i am an arthur miller fan; i would to go to one of his plays at the drop of a hat. i’d even go if you were in it, which is saying a lot.

let me tell you how it works, ok, because obvioulsy you don’t have a clue. while it would be nice to have the critics from the new york post, new york times etc on your side what really counts in the theatre is word of mouth. i have seen plays and musicals that the critics raved about close after only weeks. why, because the audience-you know the paying public-didn’t agree.
on the other hand, i have seen plays and musicals the critics have hated last for months. why, for the same reason; the paying public thought the critics were wrong. this is how it works; not only in theatre but for film as well.

Talking about the entertainment shows and the news.. They didn’t show the rest of the cast just John Lithgow with her.. But Tom and
Katie after dinner was more important… It is not Just Jared if look at the other websites and what are the websites for Broadway..Tell
me what other websites have the rest of the cast… That don’t include
broadway… Sheesh .. There is a world out there other than Just Jared
that will print Just Katie..

I couldn’t believe your arrogant comment. This is NOT KH’s show. This is a show that succeeds because of the stellar casting of Lthgow, Weist and Patrick. Friends who saw the play said that Lithgow and Weist were superb and Patrick was great, but Katie was only good. They also felt if she hadn’t been married to Tom Cruise resulting in her A list fame–she NEVER would have been cast in the role.

Jared, didn’t you go last night? What is your take on the play???
