#32 I was wondering the same thing Karen. It was reported in Variety a couple of weeks ago that she actually is in talks for another film. So maybe there will some more news coming down the pike about that before too long.
I just wanted to say something about Vanessa always “smirking” in these pictures like this, isn’t possible the reason why she’s smiling is that that its rin response to something someone said. If you look at a couple of pictures it looks she’s in mid-sentence. A picture may “say a thousand words” but those words don’t always tell the WHOLE story. It would just be nice if some people weren’t so quick to judge.

You say all you hear is “how she rude to fans” I would question the sites you visit then. Because I’ve read SEVERAL accounts of how sweet she is. The thing about all these “negative” stories is that most of them almost NEVER say how she is rude. They say she wouldn’t take a picture, or sign an autograph. For all we know she could have very nicely said “I’m sorry I can’t today.” But people feel slighted so they say she was rude. I’m not saying there’s no truth to EVERY negative story just that they should be takwn with the proverbial grain of salt.
Now on the flip side I will concede in fairness that the same can be said about the positive accounts as well. But those accounts usually seem to give context and are more detailed. While too many of the negative just seem to boil down to “she was rude.”

get ur facts straight b4 posting. that concert was put together by neutrogena. it was not vanessas idea at all, and she had to perform because in her 2 year contract one of the deals with that company is that you help them promote events and attend etc, thats why hayden panettiere was also there.

I’m not real sure where you have read all these these things about Vanessa being rude to fans or being stuck up. There are numerous accounts here on JJ and at VABN and other sites—with actual pictures of her with these fans—-specifically saying how sweet she was to them and those around her. There was one person on JJ who said Vanessa was rude to her but that comment was put into question since the person who said it was a known Vanessa basher on JJ—so why, for example, did she even go to Vanessa’s concert and how was it she got to meet her backstage when other’s couldn’t get anywhere near her?—-
Anyway, the think I wonder is how 20 people can say how sweet she was, give account of their meeting, prove it with pictures, and ONE person can say Vanessa was rude to them, give no details of what happened or what was said, and that constitutes how “all I hear now is EVERYONE saying how rude she is”? Yes, thank you for the more accurate meaning of agnostic. This term usually gets very confusing for people and they don’t understand. Zac has a Jewish heritage but was not brought up to follow the traditions.
Agnostics are also not based in a specific following like saying “I’m Jewish or I’m Catholic”. They don’t follow a certain religious doctrineo like Methodist or Baptist. Nevertheless, saying all that it is not to say that they don’t believe in God.

I can’t say this with 100% certainty but I THINK the guy that Vanessa is either greeting or saying good-bye to in picture #4, MIGHT be film director Tommy O’Haver who according to Vareity is slated to direct “The Adventures of Dreary and Naughty” the film she is reportedly in talks to star in.
I say this because I saw pictures of him on IMDB. His credits include “Ella Enchanted” with Anne Hathaway and “An American Crime” with Catherne Keener (*Being John Malkovitch,” “The 40-Year-Old Virgin), James Franco (”Spider-Man 3″, “Pineapple Express”), and a pre-”Juno” Ellen Page. It was one of the more controversial offerings at 2007’s Sundance Film Festival and premiered on Showtime a couple of months ago.
“The Adventures of Dreary and Naughty” isn’t listed in directing credits but it does say he has two projects in development but you have to be a member of IMDB’s premimum service to access that info which I am not.
If he IS the guy in picture and I can’t tell for certain if he is or not as I said, maybe they wll be some news on that front before too much longer.

From what I know about the “The Adventures of Dreary and Naughty” which admittedly is very little is that it’s about a Goth girl and her best friend who happens to be an animated skeleton. I understand you not liking us fans, it is because we NEVER, EVER give up, give in, or go away. And because we don’t you cannot have your fun dumping on a young woman who has done nothing against you but who you feel compelled to insult.
Another thing haters, bashers, or non-fans get ANNOYED about is when someone like Boji, Naomi, or Troy sets the record straight and exposes a lie or misconception. It just takes the wind right out of their sails. Then the haters look ridiculous and have no constructive thing to say for their “side” because everything they were basing their comments on was a result of their inward anger, insecurity, jealousy, or whatever other negative source that was driving them.
Now , all of you who are on that negative side will immediately yell at me but it is the truth and it is a truth none of you want to examine within yourselves. But let it be known, if someone can say something negative about this young woman then we the fans can equal it out by saying something positive. If it happens to be in response to a comment you wrote, then so be it. Also, for the person who may not know any better when some heinous lie is told then anyone has a right and should set the record straight. Let the truth win the day. If you naysayers must get your kicks out of badmouthing someone, go to some other thread who doesn’t have regular fans on the board if you don’t want to be disagreed with.

The headline is ‘Still together! It’s a race to the Altar” Inside they compare Nick Lachey/ Van Minnillo to Zac/Vanessa. Nick/Van is expected to make it to the altar first because of the age factor. Zac/Vanessa are considered much too level headed to make it happen anytime soon as they are still young whereas Van. Minnillo has made no secret that she wants to marry Nick and have his babies. The fact that Boji makes intermittent comments on posts DOES NOT means she spends all her time on the Internet. However, your taking the time to read through all the comments and find hers tells me that YOU are the one spending too much time on the Internet.
And, I think your anger comes NOT from the fact that you think Boji spends too much time on the Internet, but from the fact that she is a logical, coherent person who can express herself clearly.
And, sweetie, we older fans appreciate Zac and Vanessa for reasons you tweenies will never understand. We don’t see these two as Troy and Gabriella. We see them as good, decent people with that something special that is rare in Hollywood. We support them in their careers and root for them to break out of the Disney mode and into the great roles that are awaiting them out there.
What I find really sad, is your believing that only people of a certain age should like Zac and Vanessa. Zac is turning 21 soon and Vanessa 20. They are already moving into more mature roles, and we older fans will still be following their careers and rooting for them.
We will be the ones going to see “Me and Orson Welles” for the movie and how Zac portrays the Richard character. Not because we think Zac is HOT.

We’re certainly getting to some people here. I wonder why they are rattled that Vanessa has older dedicated fans. Maybe they’re realising that she’s way out of their league.
I find it is ignorant, immature, unexposed teenagers who have never left their states much less travelling outside the US who can’t understand anybody can choose to be a fan of who ever appeals to them and that the internet can be accessed from anywhere.
Fyi, Boji has a fuller life than you might ever achieve, she’s raised a daughter, runs a home, entertains with her husband, plays badminton, hangs out with her friends, spends time with her mother and still finds time to support Vanessa and keep up to date with news about her.
That is called being organised and having varied interests, a concept that is foreign to most of you seeing as you are barely able to cope with doing your homework and chores at home.
As she earns her own income and it is her time, I don’t see that it is anyone’s business how she spends that time. Remove the log of wood in your own eyes before looking for the speck in Boji’s. When you are able to earn your own income and achieve what she’s achieved in life then you can talk, else shut your traps and grow up!
You have the guts to talk to Boji, do you stalk your parents every hour? Do you know what they spend their time on the internet doing? Let’s hope it’s not something more embarrassing than supporting a young actress.
BTW, I don’t watch disney, never have and never will. I certainly don’t watch any teen channel. I watched HSM on dvd. Apart from hsm and from what I hear a few episodes of TSL, I don’t see why disney watching tweens should claim Vanessa as their property.
Thunderbirds was a theatre movie, so is Bandslam. Fortunately for Vanessa, her work and her style appeals to adults of all ages so she is ahead in that sense.
Every true fan of Vanessa would know that it is a good thing that she has adult fans because that is what every other teen star is trying to achieve, a broader fanbase that includes adults to be taken seriously in hollywood.

So, since this is a Vanessa Hudgen’s comment site, let me first, at least, say something about her. Well, I only know she’s an actress and singer in HSM. I am not her fan neither am I her ‘hater’. But from what I see and hear, she seems pretty decent. That’s all I can say about her.
The reason I decided to post here is for obvious reasons. I have to say, some of the non-Vanessa comments you guys post in here are.. unbelievable. seriously. So much anger, hate…so bitter. Why?
Honestly, the things you people say about my mum really got me quite angry. Stop for a moment and imagine how you would feel about someone dissing your parents for something they do. If you love your parents and actually care for them, you’d be as angry as I am. Hey, I’m just like most of you guys man. A regular teenage girl who gets angry at things like this, so don’t blame me for feeling this way.
It doesn’t bother me that my mum does this. Why should it bother you? Who are you to judge my mum the way you guys do? This is just one of the many things that make my mum happy. Then came the stolen photo scandal, and thought I’d see what I could find out about it, since I worked in a middle school, and saw things like that happen. I found Just Jared with the story, started to read the comments, and as a mom, and supporter of teen-agers, was HORRIFIED at the hateful comments people made about this beautiful, talented young woman. I discovered many others here felt the way I did, and a bond developed.
We all have our own stories, about feeling we needed to support Vanessa. We are NOT stalkers, obsessive, unbalanced, pathetic, lame, or disgusting, as we have been called. Some of us are moms, and defending someone who has been wronged is just what moms do. THere’s nothing shocking about Boji and her maternal instincts to defend Vanessa.
So, Ms. Hilary #271, your comments about our friend, Boji, cannot be further from the truth. Why don’t you just accept the fact that Vanessa has fans of all ages, and that there’s nothing wrong with that? I like Reese WItherspoon too…..does that make me a sicko cause she’s younger than me??

One of the reasons why Vanessa’s threads are longer is because more people come on to bash her which causes the fans to defend her. Zac doesn’t get the same kind of bashing or as much of it. Then on this thread many of the comments have had nothing at all to do with Vanessa or Zac. It has been the bashing of one of Vanessa’s fans which has caused retaliation of that person’s friends. So, I would say both Vanessa and Zac would have the same amount of posts but Vanessa’s threads stir up more controversy.

Think about it, you younger fans are being very unreasonable. According to your “rules” we should only be fans of older stars. We can have the age argument from now until the end of time, but the truth of the matter is this: The older fans are still here, and their attackers, who are a dime a dozen, have come and gone.

I’m a teen, and i don’t mind that vanessa has tween/teen/older fans, i mean what’s the big deal? Isn’t it only better for vanessa to have more fans, i mean if she only had tween/teen fans it wouldn’t be that much as now. EVERYONE can be a fan of anyone!

You are very wise young lady. The biggest reason? You are willing to listen and when you do you learn something to make yourself smarter and more mature.
You will never regret thinking more logically as when you get older and the pressures gets tougher in life you will be less likely to fall under the pressure or to make stupid decisions that can follow you for the rest of your days. You will be the ones making decisions for more than yourself because those who go off and rant with foul language, etc, will not be the ones who are taken seriously. When the pressures are on and the chips are down, everyone involved in a situation like that wants to have someone who can think clearly making the decisions for the masses.

I do want to say something to hollisterxgirl…….Can you see what happens with a few words? Pages and pages of bickering people. It would be great if you could choose your words wisely and think about how your words affect or anger people. It’s a good life lesson that I wish more adults got!!! :o)

Thanks for your comments. They were on the money and you know they were—and frankly, most people know that too. But the replies you received prove the problem the fans have and that is: people like your replier don’t understand what is being said or explanations and they get all upset evidenced by there resorting to calling people names or using foul language.
