Vanessa Hudgens - Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party 2008
Vanessa Hudgens goes back to basics in head-to-toe black at the 2008 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party on Thursday in Los Angeles.
The 19-year-old High School Musical starlet attended the event on the rooftop of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art with on-and-off-screen boyfriend Zac Efron.
Vanessa was Teen Vogue’s cover girl for their September 2008 issue. The month after, Zac graced the cover of the teen mag.

I think just about the only consensus on V’s look here is that we all have varied tastes/opinions. I’ve gone back and forth on it and the current conclusion I’m coming to is that I pretty much like it. I like the flowiness of the dress…it somehow goes with Zac’s scarf look well to me…not that it has to - it just feels like it does somehow. And it seems like a sophisticated yet sultry look. The heels add edge…On the one hand, they’re kind of overpowering, but then, they’re definitely attention grabbers and I think she’s rockin’ them well. I don’t know. I can see some of the arguments for the different components not necessarily going together, but I do like them on her separately for sure. But, that’s my take. Is there a right answer? You can always find one show/mag putting someone on the best dressed list when another show/mag puts them on the worst dressed. LOL! Fashion tastes vary. But Vanessa’s sweet confidence and happiness seems to shine through, making her look beautiful regardless of what she wears.

Its never any different,there are always those who try to say that Z & V look unhappy,even after Palm Springs there were similar comments.
Unfortunately there are ‘fans’ who seem to think that unless Zac and Vanessa are smiling from ear to ear,holding hands and making ‘goo-goo’eyes at each other,that there must be something wrong.
At the end of the day,these pictures represent maybe a few minutes of the night.
If we’re all wrong,you’re quite welcome to come back and say ‘I told you so’…..but I’m sure these two will be around for a long time yet !!!

It’s so nice to see her again and i terribly miss her awesome smile and she always looks amazing on the red carpet. Loved her look, she experiment with this style and i think it came out pretty well.
