Zac Efron - Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party 2008
Zac Efron plays Mr. Cool at the 2008 Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party on Thursday in Los Angeles.
The 20-year-old High School Musical heartthrob, who popped his jacket collar a lot on the red carpet, attended the event on the rooftop of The Los Angeles County Museum of Art with on-and-off-screen girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens.
Zac was Teen Vogue’s cover boy for their October 2008 issue. The month before, Vanessa graced the cover of the teen mag.

I used to criticize him before because I thought he was too over styled but you know what this guy is really cute and I love the fact that he dresses so casual but with style! he’s a hottie! I am glad he has a sense of style!
Why miss the opportunity to flaunt themselves and their show on a red carpet? They’ve had no problems doing it before, heck they got together becasue of HSM and have used their relationship as much as they can to get mileage for the show. That is the truth, no matter what blinkers you put on to get to sleep at night. So now here they are at a red carpet and they walk it separately??? NOW???

Hahaha, sorry someone said they were promoting themselves and that’s why they didn’t pose together? PLEASE!!!! Like Vanessa said, they still have press to do for hsm so why would they only promote themselves. This is the second time they haven’t done a red carpet pose. I wonder what’s truly going on. Zac is looking great tho.

Zac and Vanessa have not always walked the red carpets together. They have walked separately more times than not. Zac was on the cover of TeenVogue for October, not him AND Vanessa, the same goes for the September issue where Vanessa was on the cover and not her AND Zac. They go a lot of places together but they have individual careers. When the credits roll on 17 Again or MAOW you are not going to see “Zanessa” or Zac and Vanessa” or even “Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens”. The same goes for Vanessa’s movie when it comes out. Because they will be with each other a lot at functions like this just because they are a couple doesn’t mean they will be photographed together. Showing up at the Palm Springs Film Festival was something different. Zac was celebrating something he had done and Vanessa was his date so they walked the red carpet together. But this event was about individual celebrities—the new young stars—so they were acting like INDIVIDUAL young stars that were being singled out. Did you see any other celebrity photographed on the red carpet together with someone else?
yep. two separate individuals. each with their own accomplishments and activities. IF they do break up, we fans will not die or anything but will still support them whoever they choose to date. their tween fans will most likely be depressed for a week or so, but they will get over it as long as they see z/v happy with or without each other,
As always you are right o the money, Karen. Zac and Vanessa have class and tact. They know what is right for each event that they go to.
