Miley Cyrus In The City

Her show is back to #1 beating out all the competion and reports indicate that season 2 was up 16% in t he ratings over season 1. She has sold at least 9-10 million CD’s in the last 2 years, and even her latest album appears to have gone platium. Her fame is growing oversea and sales of Hannah Montana stuff out sells all the other Merchandise by all the other stars combined and her Hannah Montana show is also growing overseas. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you. It appears to me that Disney needs her more than she needs them. So If i were Disney I would think twice about making her mad.
She is very upset. Her persona is virtually self promoting. There was very little investment by Disney promoting her show. It sold itself and it was partially her acting ability that helped sell it. On the other hand Disney has used her show to launch the career of most of her competition. They have spent tons of money promoting all the other Disney stars and their current shows or upcoming shows. How would you like it if your bosses told you to promote someone else and train them then tell your that your both in competition for a managers job. That’ would suck. and using Miley and her show to promote her own competition was wrong. Even when Disney showed her 3D movie on TV they spent 20 seconds of the commercial promotion for the show on the Jonas Brothers and only 10 seconds on her, and it was HER concert movie, not theirs.
I think Disney needs to back off and stop promoting her as a role model for 5 year olds and start finding her roles that will place her where she wants to be, in a young adult or older teen audienance. They need to do more to help her singing career by scheduling her time better so she can do concerts like the JB’s on a routine basis. They need to promote her and back her up just as much as they do all the other so call Miley replacements and the JB’s. It’s funny that all the people being touted as the next Miley and Disney next big thing for tweens and teen are all OLDER than Miley. They are all 16 or older, while she is still 15 and won’t turn 16 till the end of November. So how can you replace someone who is 15 and ready to move on with someone older, many of whom have already express desire for older roles themselves.

Her fan base is huge, and many of them like me are older that 16 and would like to see more from her both singing and acting. I don’t neccessarly agree with the kind of tactics mentioned in this article to get Disney’s attention. But if and I do mean IF, this story is true, I am sure that both her and her dad tried more appropriate means to get Disney to listen, before embarking on this course.
Disney’s even taking over most of Miley Charity work by getting their other stars involved in the same charities that she works with instead of finding other for them to do. That’s probally why she started her own charity foundation.
You people who are complaining about her need to get better informed and look back and see everything she has done that has been good and for others. She has done far more good than bad. She has given or helped raise more money in the last 2 years than allof her peers combined.

In light of the recent signing for a movie for her by Disney, and the promotion of her Birthday bash as Disneyland, I really doubt that this story is true, however I do believe that Miley and her dad may want off the show, not because they make more money singing, but because of the shameless way Disney has treated Miley in relation to the other Disney stars, in their lack of support when she made mistakes, and the way they have used her. It’s time for her to move on to more mature roles, and if Disney isn’t going to get 100% behind her as she does, then maybe it’s best for all if they just let her go.

Lol, that’s halarious. Miley Cyrus can’t act. Just because the little 12 year old and under gang think she’s the greatest thing since microwave popcorn doesn’t mean she’s any good. Watch her show for ten minutes and you’ll see exactly what I mean. She’s an overglorified, untalented hag. Don’t be fooled by all the glitz and glamour.

Do you want to know why anything Disney puts out is a hit? Because not only is Disney always ahead of the curve, they actually go out there and create the curve. They choose what will be the next big thing, and shove it down kids’s throats until they begin to think they actually like it. And the sad thing is, a lot of teenagers get sucked into it too, hence the Jonas Brothers. Disney has perfected the art of manipulation.

Miley Cyrus may have platinum albums, legions of young, impressionable fangirls kissing her ass, and an enviable lifestyle, but don’t think for a minute that makes her anything more than a spoiled little daddy’s girl who got very VERY lucky.
