Jenna Fischer - Emmys 2008 Red Carpet
Jenna Fischer shows off a strapless Gustavo Cadile gown on the red carpet at the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards held at Nokia Theatre on Sunday (September 21) in Los Angeles.
The 34-year-old actress from The Office hosted the first annual “Fur Ball” in Los Angeles last Sunday. The event celebrated the first 10 years for the non-profit “Kitten Rescue”. As a lover of cats like her character on The Office, Fisher said, “In the show, Pam has all these elaborate procedures for her cat. I’ve done all that – the eye drops and ear swabs. I’ve checked their poop and massaged their tummy!” Jenna has fostered 9 cats.

Her character’s name on the office is Angela? really? are you quite sure of that Jared? Thank goodness I only come here for the pix, cuz with everyday the “reporting” is getting crappier and crappier. :D

I’m pretty sure you meant Jenna is a lover of cats, as his a different character on The Office. Jenna plays Pam, Angela Kinsey plays Angela.
Love her and her character, Pam!! I do like this color on her but somehow, the style is not really flattering. But she looks gorgeous anyway.
That dress is hideous and unbecoming. Such a shame because she is pretty otherwise.
the dress isn’t very flattering but she’s still very pretty and a wonderful actress. she should have been nominated for something and The Office should have won at least one award!
This is actually in response to everyone who is correcting the report… Jenna was responding to a question about her role as emcee for the fur ball. She said that Angela on the show does all sorts of crazy things for her cats (which if you watch The Office, you would know) and was saying that in real life, she has done crazy things for her own cats. The reporting was originally correct, and now that it has been changed to “In the show, Pam has all these elaborate procedures for her cat,” the quote is incorrect. Also, Jenna’s last name is spelled “Fischer.” Don’t mean to be rude, but just trying to defend the “crappy reporting” of Just Jared, that was actually right to begin with.

Jen, when first reading the lil’ tidbit I assumed that she was refering to Angela, another character, and that that was the true statement, but it said just as her character -well Angela is not her character so it should’ve been changed to just as one charachter on her show instead of changing it to Pam, thus misquoting her. So in reality it wasnt right in the beginning. I just wanted to clear that up, but anyway this is not an important issue so I will leave it at this-it just bugged me because this wasnt the first misrepresentation of a quote i’ve seen on this site but I guess I shouldn’t expect the most reliable research on a gossip site. Sigh.

awww I love her now that I know she loves cats. Cats are the best!! Thanks for rescuing and fostering kitties Jenna, wish there were more celebs out there that would do that. You dont know love until you have rescued a cat in need, what you get back in return cannot be put in to words.
correction: Jenna Fischers characters name is Pam, who on the show says shes more of a dog person, she says it herself in one episode. Angela is the crazy cat lady lol. fyi
