i dont like thee pic. david looks awful everytime he applies eyeliner to his eyes. Why does he do that?!
as for the song, its lright. i was expecting it to be better. David’s voice was not very tuned nd it sounded rough and harsh. The studio versions of his performances on idol were a lot better. I really hope the other songs in his album are better than this. ‘light on’ diddnt sound like it was coming from the david cook i have come to like so much. chris cornell isnt a lyric genius, david shouldnt have teamed up with him. the lyrics of the songs featured in analog heart were better.

I love him more for his talent than his looks, but, yeah! he looks gorgeous.
He is very versatile vocally, this new song proves what we already knew. This song is a good transition from a year of covers in AI7 and his indie project Analog Heart (favorite CD of mine).

Oh, man. What happened to David Cook? I thought he was pretty cool on Idol. Great voice, decent person. They really messed with his voice on this song, though. UGH. I guess most of the people who love it are chicks who are still infatuated, but believe me, Cook has sounded light years better on other songs that he put out by himself.
And, yeah. Hate that eyeliner look.

im a huge david fan, and i think if us david fans think about it- this is (or isnt) him. the real david is the one in analog heart, the swearing moody singer we dont know. but i think us david fans want to beleive in our hearts this is the idol david we all know and love- but its not.
the idol-david isnt him- and this isnt him either.
i want the idol-david, but i want him to be himself, but i dont want the analog-heart david- which is the real him…
i think hes too relaxed now, he needs to pick it up before underdog archie picks up the slack, and becomes the next daughtry.

OK…the picture? Really not liking it. Very pretty boy-ish. What happened to David Cook from Idol? The only way I really recognize him is because of his lips! But wow…I want the edgy emo David Cook back! This photo is pretty and all, but it’s like what a lot of people are saying…kind of creepy and does not look like the David Cook we all are fans of.
