Would like to know the thoughts of the writer. Intense song, connecting to the lyrics in a way not sure it was intended. not sure if the comments are shared with David or/and the producers but would appreciate a deeper meaning from the creator.
Kinda empty comments being listed, listening with the eyes and not the ears, and definitely not hearing with the heart.
I’d like to believe a light on will help keep me finding my way home and comfort my loved ones when i’m gone.

I heard the song and went searching for the lyrics and found this page. Read the first page of comments and felt the need to reach out to the creators for a deeper meaning. THANK YOU BUZZ reading the one comment from you on page 5 gave me my understanding.
It has to relate to his brother. the light keeps bringing me home and i pray the light wont go out when i’m gone

hi there,
thanks for sharing the lyrics that i really wanted to download so i could sing along while david cook is singing!
honestly,i like david archuleta in the american idol season 7 last year.
he seems to be cute and about my age.
however,i feel like i love david cook after listening to his voice lots of times when he sings always be my baby,the music of the night,the time of my life and light on.
he seems to be so cool,matured and rock!
he deserved to be the american idol!
i wished i could spend time watching the american idol season 7 last year but unfortunately i could not due to my biggest SPM examination
anyway,i could still watch his video in you tube and listen to his songs in the radio. now,i am trying to watch season 8 and i hope it would as good as the past season. one more thing,david cook has always sing his song better and different than the original singer like always be my baby from mariah carey.i love david cook and yeah i wish he would become more successful in his career!
