And JA is relevant to this thread how? Notwithstanding that, personally I don’t rate JA has a movie actress, more of a TV actress. Pretty girl, well groomed but don’t rate her as above ordinary looks wise. Don’t presume that because I don’t wish to see Angelina sleep walking through another movie that I am a rabid JA fan.

It’s so tiresome for those that don’t fall at the alter of blandangelina, people presume JA has something to do with it. I may be tempted to see this film because it’s directed by Eastwood and stars JM, but Angelina non.

What does JA have to do with AJ’s merits as an actress.

Yes it is my opinion, it’s a message board where we are allowed to gasp (!) post our points of view. Nowhere in my post says otherwise. I’m a person not God. I never get the hysteria on these boards. So what if one person disagrees? Will people stop hiring AJ because of one anonymous English girl’s opinion? No. Will some people continue to be fans? Yes. And will some people like me, continue to think AJ is a so so ordinary looking, average actress more known for her personal life than a credible body of work, yep. I’m puzzled by it, but can’t get passionate about it.

Now if we we’re talking about Penelope Cruz, Monica Belluci or Sophie Marceau…. But again, that’s just MY opinion.

No not getting sensitive, just puzzled. Unlike the subsequent poster who managed to state why she disagreed with me, and why she thought AJ is a good actress. You have brought JA into the equation, and have now reduced yourself to attacking me. I’m afraid not everyone is obssessed with JA. If I was a fan of JA, I’d just come out and write it. The opinion of someone I have never met, nor am likely to meet wouldn’t matter. Just as my opinion of AJ as an actress shouldn’t matter to someone who is a fan.

Well I’m going to try and post this again, and hope this board isn’t censoring a differing opinion.

No not sensitive, just puzzled why a person who writes a dissenting post, is classified as a fan of JA. The subsequent poster, managed to express hi/her disagreement by explaining why they believe AJ to be a good actress and secondly, without attacking me, unlike you.

It’s the same with the JA threads they descend into AJ sqawking. I don’t understand why people can’t post on their admiration with (a) bringing a completely unrelated actress into the mix and (b) making (in an aggressive manner) assumptions against people who disagree.

I can’t wait to see “Changeling” I like true story movie specially if it’s Angie as the star. The poster is beautiful, her sad eyes looking at the little boy, the poster tells the story by itself. I need to bring a box of tissue just in case.

This thread is brilliant. Apart from a couple of posters, no-one is able to string together a coherent argument. Or am I precluded from answering posts addressed to me? If a person I don’t know attributes personality traits to me, because I don’t share their liking for an actress who they will never meet, trust me, I find that hilarious.
