OlderBrad Pitt: Hello, Yellow!
Brad Pitt dresses up in the ugliest yellow costume ever while filming a new commercial for Japanese cell phone company Softbank in a quaint seaside town in France over the weekend.
The 44-year-old actor wore matching yellow terrycloth outfit–fedora , 50’s button-down shirt and pants. Even so, Brad’s sexiness outshines that puke yellow outfit any day!
And if I’m not mistaken, that’s Wes Anderson there to direct Brad in the cell phone commercial. Other characters in a commercial include a woman wearing a bikini two sizes too small, a granny with a metal detector and a man walking around with a badminton racket.
UPDATE: German media is reporting that the whole Jolie-Pitt clan flew into Berlin, Germany yesterday. They are expected to stay there for 90 days while Brad films Inglorious Bastards with director Quentin Tarantino.

Brad, Angie, and the kids flew to Berlin yesterday. They are to be there for 90 days while Brad films IB with QuentinT. German website has pixs of home they are allegedly living in, it is too beautiful.
Shiloh first flew at 2 weeks, from Namibia to La, Knox and Viv are now 10 weeks old and they have had their first flight.
Brad said they will keep the brood together and they always do.

Get a freaking sense of humour. That’s a sign of a confident man, who could allow himself to look completely silly, and have fun doing it. A lot more people should try doing that, that way they would n’t have the time to go on the internet and criticize Brad and Angie.

Wonder how much he gets for a commercial? Glad the family is together. They have stayed true to their word about keeping the brood together. I know people were talking about Brad working only during the week and flying to France on weekends. But they have followed what they said from the beginning, keeping everyone together. Wannsee means two things to Berliners. On the one hand it is the residential district of Wannsee with its fine old villas set in large gardens - one of the best addresses in Berlin. Cut off as they were from the country surrounding the city, West Berliners flocked by the thousands to “their” lake, the Wannsee. Now, happily, people from the whole of Berlin can join them.
It is nice to see that Brad and Angie are living their lives away from the papz except for Brad going out every now and then. Angie is doing what she said, spending time with her children.

Far be it from me to stick up for Crowe - he certainly doesn’t deserve it - but Crowe wasn’t seeing Spencer during this time. They had broken up ages before that and Crowe had lived for a few years with some American artist he met while filming LA Confidential. It was soon after Ryan broke it off and while he was on the rebound from Ryan that Spencer supposedly went to his New Years Eve celebration at his ranch to console him and, as they say, stayed on. Soon after that Crowe bought a luxury condo in a trendy area that she lived in until they were married.
A close friend of mine was friends with Ryan during high school in Connecticut and she stayed in touch with Meg over the years as well as Meg’s siblings. Meg has real issues with her mom, though her other children don’t and have a good relationship with her. But I would bug her about getting inside info about Crowe and she never wanted to ask. After the break up though - even before it was over - my friend said it wasn’t serious for Meg. When it ended she told me that Meg is the one who dumped him. And she always said Dennis cheated on her and when they visited my friend in our city Meg was the same as she was in HS and Dennis didn’t treat her very well.
That’s as much as I can remember.

I am sure this is the chosen uniformed for this commercial. They will stay in Germany for three months. I can see why Brad might look tired. I am sure her had to leave the film festival to prepare the family for traveling and to locate a place to stay. I love the way they can just sneak away without causing attention, I dont see how they got away with it this time because they have two more children to travel with. Love them they are the two coolest people in Hollywood.

Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie & kids are in Berlin in a rented estate for 90 days
Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and their six children landed at Tempelhof airport in Berlin at around 3:30 in the afternoon yesterday. They seem to have evaded photographers as I was unable to find photographs of their arrival in the German press or photo agencies. The famous family has rented a 130,000 square foot property complete with three mansions in the Wannsee area for 90 days. Wannsee is a picturesque and exclusive area in the Southwest of Berlin situated on two lakes, Kleiner and Grosser Wannsee (Small and Large Wannsee). The property is decked out with a state of the art security system. According to German reports, they have 14 body guards, 3 chefs and 2 nannys on campus. There are said to be 10 luxury cars at their disposal.
Brad is due to shoot the film Inglorious ******** with director Quentin Tarantino in Potsdam, about a half hour drive southwest of Berlin. It also stars German actress Diane Kruger from Troy. His film Burn After Reading opens in Berlin October 2 and there is speculation that he may attend the German premiere next Wednesday.

Angelina (33), Brad (44), and their six children landed at Berlin’s Tempelhof airport on Tuesday afternoon to move into the swanky ‘Palais Parkschloss’ house on the shores of the Wannsee lake on the outskirts of Berlin.
Hollywood superstar Brad Pitt is set to begin work on the new Quentin Tarantino movie, ‘Inglorious ********’, in three weeks. Until then, it looks like he and Angelina will be relaxing in Berlin, where the two have been spotted many times before.
There should be more than enough room for Brangelina and their brood in the 12,000 square-metre villa. A private helicopter landing pad, dock, and full security system are all part of the package.
A staff of 14, including two nannies, are also on site to oversee the entire operation. With their help, maybe Angelina Jolie will be able to handle her new job as mum, which she has reportedly been struggling with.
The glamorous couple’s new Berlin residence has a star-studded past. In 2001 actor Steven Seagal (58) rented out the same villa for two months and caused thousands of dollars worth of damage.
Since then, the mansion has been revamped but who knows what condition it will be in when Brangelina and their brood take off again. After all, with six kids, there’s bound to be some damage…

The German version of this article in Bild notes that the Jolie-Pitts have installed a 2.5 meter (8 foot) sheet to protect the property from the paparazzi. Their security system includes motion detectors, security cameras and floodlights. The Jolie-Pitts, their six children and full staff will have plenty of room in those three big mansions. They have about 30,000 square feet of living space.
It looks like the family is going to stay together while Pitt films outside Berlin. We’ll have to see whether they’ll stay a full three months and if they return to France or to Brad’s mansion in the Los Feliz area of Los Angeles, which is said to be undergoing renovations in preparation for their possible move back stateside. Angelina’s film The Changeling opens in the US on October 24th and it is thought that she will attend the premiere, which may well be her first public appearance after the birth of her twins on July 12.

Also they probably need to back in LA to check on home and to do other business.

Angie has that “star quality” too. Both are more than “one hit wonders” , famous for only playing a certain type of role or character all the time. They have endurance.

The Cruises - I would say they are a hell of a lot more insultingly pretentious than Brad and Angie. Brad and Angie are the most powerful, most photographed couple in the world and they can slip out of France and into Germany with very little fanfare. Hell, Tom Cruise can’t even land in NYC without very clear pictures of him deplaning. Or Katie Holmes can’t figure out how to get from her apartment to the theater without getting photographed every morning (see all of JJ’s coverage on this). Yet somehow she manages to get back home without anyone photographing her. Now that is pretentious and of course a BIG mystery. Thanks for the info. The story at Cinemablend contains a link to Moviehole.com and they say the start date is Feb 16, 2009. So a 90 day shoot on IG would take them through the end of the year with about 6 weeks before Angie starts filming her movie.
You’ve got to admire the way these two schedule their work - they each do a movie, then take time off together as a family. By the time Angie finishes shooting her movie it’ll probably be the middle of May…time for summer vacay! Together they’re only working 7-8 months of the year. That’s the kind of job I need…pay included! LOL. Angie’s probably going to get $20MIL for her movie and you know Brad is getting at least that for IG - hopefully he was able to stick it to Uni for a percentage of the gross after they tried to falsely crucify him over SOP!

Brangelina’s family may be growing yet again. A source close to Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie says the couple is actively thinking about adopting another child from either Namibia (where their biological daughter Shiloh was born in May 2006) or from one of the more impoverished countries in Latin America, possibly Bolivia or Paraguay.
The focus on South America comes from Jolie’s interest in drawing attention to the large number of desperately needy orphaned children in that region. Previously, Jolie and Pitt adopted children from Cambodia, Malawi and Ethiopia.
The superstar couple also are said to considering a long-term lease on a very secluded villa in southern Spain — surrounded by many acres, like their rented estate in the south of France.

PT, that sounds like a fierce source. Maybe they knew more than Meg knew about Crowe at the time. People can be so blind to the reality of the people they want. But if he was still seeing Spencer then he was doing it on the sly or as if she was the woman he could just go to whenever he was between women. I was more aware of Crowe many years ago and his relationship with Spencer always seemed more like a fall back position. Lots of people have that type of person in their life and even end up marrying them. She sure didn’t have much going on in her life and she seems full of insecurities so I was not surprised when he ended up with her. Especially since following another one of his drunken brawls - this time well photographed in London - he went home and got very publicly engaged almost immediately. He was surrounded by people pairing up and having babies and he wanted that for himself - ASAP. And he got it.
I would love to hear more skinny on Crowe or Spencer but JJ doesn’t really bother with him. From being a very early fan of his I came to realize he is just an insecure ass too full of himself to reign it in.
I didn’t realize Crowe knew Pitt until I read an article about one year’s Oscar rehearsals. Can’t remember the year but how often does Pitt participate in the Oscars. The writer described Paltrow showing up to go in the back door when she unexpectedly saw Pitt . Pitt and Crowe saw each other and hugged and started into an animated conversation and Paltrow took the opportunity to duck into the building unnoticed by Pitt or so she hoped. I think this was before she finally sort of owned up to their break up being her fault, i.e., cheating on Pitt and breaking his then-ignorant heart.
As for Crowe, he was reportedly chomping at the bit for a piece of Shantaram - about the escaped Australian convict who starts a clinic in the slums of India - and Brad’s Plan B is producing it along with Johnny’s Depp’s company. So I figured they must talk.

Bolivia: ADOPTION PROCEDURES: Bolivia U.S. citizens must be legal residents of Bolivia in order to adopt in Bolivia. It has two types of adoptions: national and intercountry. However, Bolivia does not allow intercountry adoptions to countries that have not ratified the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption, including the United States .
Paraguay: Presently, intercountry adoptions are not allowed in Paraguay . Paraguayan law gives preference in adoption to Paraguayan citizens and legal permanent residents of Paraguay, and prospective adoptive parents must reside in Paraguay . Paraguayan government officials have told the U.S. Embassy in Paraguay that should intercountry adoptions be permitted in the future, the government will only allow adoptions by citizens of countries that have ratified the Hague Convention on Intercountry Adoption (the Convention) and signed an agreement with the central governmental authority overseeing adoptions.

I honestly don’t think they will adopt from Latin America, Angie is focused on their work in Africa and Asia, so they will probably adopt an African baby next, but not now….probably next year or the year after.

“Fallback girl” is probably the best description for DS. I didn’t really pay much attention to RS back then. This was back around 2000 or so. I just remember that when the story hit about RS bumping uglies with MR my friend said she’d have to get the scoop from her daughter about how DS was taking the news. I didn’t even know he had a gf in Oz because he certainly never acted like it. That’s when my friend said DS was his fiancee and they’d been dating off-and-on for donkey years even then. She did say that she didn’t think DS would be too surprised because she’d never been able to “tame” RC.
BTW - I’m LOL at the Putrid story. I think the last time Brad went to the Oscars was 2002. Putrid didn’t come fess up about her behavior until 2003 or so, so I can totally see her trying to sneak past him.
Speaking of Brad & RC - RC has gotten offered at least two projects Brad turned down - State of Play and The Fountain. He got a huge payday that he wouldn’t normally have gotten out of SOP, so he should be kissing Brad’s motorcycle boots…

Read the tabloids much? There is not one picture out there of them trashing anything. If you look at the pics that are out there of the grounds–they are in pristine condition.
Think before you speak and maybe use your brain on occasion. They say stimulating the brain keeps the risk of Alzheimer’s low.

As I posted earlier–they can’t adopt from Bolivia or Paraguay because of country rules which I believe are similar for most SA countries, so if they do do another international adoption, it most likely will be from a country that is open to US adopters.
Since Brad and Angie are already approved (i.e. have gone thru the adoption system’s process) once a child is identified it can happen very quickly.
So who knows! I think they will wait a bit simply because they have just had twins and are getting no sleep according to Brad. I think they will most likely wait until the twins are at least year.
They do have a fascinating family. Love to watch it grow.

Hello to all fans! OMG I was in Berlin this summer! Well the Jolie-Pitt family is very close to my country also! Great! I just love this family! They are living the life like they want it, they are doing so much amazing things for other people, they are giving big, they are having 6 beautiful children that will grow up to be world citizen, they will know how to respect every person no matter on religion, race or gender because Brad and Angelina will teach them! They are living such a great life and they really don’t care about all tabloid stories and lies that people are saying about them! Learn to take the tab reports with some humor..
The one time Maddox broke a vase or something in Canada (yeah same house where Brad had a bear sighting.. whoa) he wrote a note aplogizing to the owners and signed it Mad and Z. The tabs have taken that little truth and come up with their own version that they trash every place they rent.. Please and remember they do have cleaning staff who revert the home to mint condition, so no worries.

I beg to differ, Aniston is the worst of the worst : No looks, no brains, no intellect, no interests (except those intimately related to a concept called : LAZINESS. e.g. tanning, yoga, ect), no curiosity, no growth and evolution, no sharing inclination, no nothing !
I mean, lets get real : you need affinities to share, things to do that you like, both of you.
Most decent intelligent men likes women with some intellect they can share…Those women can get away with it if they are very young and stunning but it won’t last. Why bother? The Bauer rags are imploding without our help. Lifeless & Styleless is currently looking for their 6th editor in 4 years. Their last Brad & Angie lie/cover sold a pathetic 384,000 copies - down from a high of around 800,000 in Jan 2007. OuttaTouch sales are down around 800,000 copies a week when in Jan 2007 they were around 1.2MIL. Give L&S another 6 months and they’ll go under without us having to do a thing…OuttaTouch won’t be far behind…

I have been to JJB twice when someone posted a link to some Pix of Brad. They were trying to prove that brad didn’t look as bad as JJ’s pix were showing , but when I went to JJB they had the same nasty pix of his nose hairs sticking out and only one or two fans called him out for looking gross, the rest had their rose colored glasses on. So no, I won’t be going back there… it’s worse than this place when it comes to blind Brad Pitt worshiping.

I can’t answer for everyone else, so I will just answer for me:
Brad has matured into a man who is doing something meaningful with his life. He is helping the underserved populations of the world.
I find it ludicrous that someone like Pawltry, who has been priviledged all her life is spouting, “GOOP” as a life philosophy that will help improve lives.
Providing essentials like food, clean water, medicine, education and safety improves lives.
As far as X goes. She has and continues to ride a wave of pity because her marriage did not work out. That is all.
She has effectively turned getting dumped into a career.
She has no claim to fame other than she was a passable sitcom actress. She is never mentioned, in any capacity, without the connection to Brad being mentioned.
Forget The JP’S for a minute.
Look what Paul Newman has done in raising money for cancer research and treatment.
Bill Cosby donated 20 million dollars to an educational institution that historically had served minorities.
Even Liz Taylor (who I am not crazy about) raised AIDS awareness when Rock Hudson died, by publically supporting and contributing to AIDS awareness, research and medical developments.

(AP) The New York Film Festival defines itself as an annual chance to take account of the state of film as art.
Last year’s story line was obvious enough: American filmmakers, from Julian Schnabel to Wes Anderson, were making - and finding ways to distribute - some excellent movies.
What a difference a year makes.
This year’s festival - which opens Friday with the U.S. premiere of the Cannes Palm d’Or winner “The Class” - still boasts a number of high-profile American films. But the stronger energy - as it often is at the NYFF - is from abroad.
Clint Eastwood’s “Changeling,” which stars Angelina Jolie, will make its U.S. premiere, as will Steven Soderbergh’s 4-hour epic “Che,” the festival’s centerpiece. Closing the festival will be Darren Aronofsky’s “The Wrestler,” which features an already much acclaimed performance from Mickey Rourke.
Throughout 2008, much of the dialogue in the art film community has been about the declining state of independent film as independent and boutique studios have shuttered. This year’s slate of American films at the NYFF is down to six (at least one of which was financed outside of the country) out of 28 films in total.
The New York Film Festival’s purview has never been constrained by borders. In its nearly five decades of existence (this is the 46th NYFF), it has specialized in introducing audiences to new filmmaking talent from around the globe.
The NYFF, which will run from Friday until Oct. 12, doesn’t give awards like most festivals but simply exhibits a curated batch of highly selective movies - many of which have played at earlier festivals. (This year’s selection committee is Richard Pena, chairman and program director of the Film Society; Kent Jones, associate director of programming at the Film Society; LA Weekly critic Scott Foundas; The Village Voice’s J. Hoberman; and Entertainment Weekly’s Lisa Schwarzbaum.)

I think it is the greatest love story of the millenium…I mean, who would have thought just 4 years ago, when Diane Sawyer interviewed Brad and the whole cast of Oceans 12, when he looked sad because he didnt have kids, and he clearly wanted a lot of children so badly.. And Angie, who said in an interview that she was not destined to find love, that love was for other people, not for her.
Angie not only gave him the kids, but has also encourage him to do more hands on humanitarianism and all of their film roles post 2005 have generated good reviews for both of them. Their family is so beautiful…
I just hope that both of them dont get snubbed at the Oscars and the major awards next year.

“Fallback girl” is probably the best description for DS. I didn’t really pay much attention to RS back then. This was back around 2000 or so. I just remember that when the story hit about RS bumping uglies with MR my friend said she’d have to get the scoop from her daughter about how DS was taking the news. I didn’t even know he had a gf in Oz because he certainly never acted like it. That’s when my friend said DS was his fiancee and they’d been dating off-and-on for donkey years even then. She did say that she didn’t think DS would be too surprised because she’d never been able to “tame” RC.
BTW - I’m LOL at the Putrid story. I think the last time Brad went to the Oscars was 2002. Putrid didn’t come fess up about her behavior until 2003 or so, so I can totally see her trying to sneak past him.

I’ve told this before but at one of the movie sites I visit there was a report during the WGA strike from one of the posters. He said he was present during a conversation between his boss and a high muckety muck in the Writers Union about the SOP brouhaha when Brad refused to work unless they waited for the strike to end and fix the allegedly very weak script. The poster worked up the nerve to ask the union leader about the Pitt/Crowe SOP scenario and why Crowe would have taken the role in the midst of strike.
Here’s the post with the Poster’s identity I am redacting:
“I got the chance to discuss the strike with a WGA member who is pretty high up on the food chain. He and my boss are friends and of course when I found out who he was (to be honest his name didn’t ring any bells) and what he does for a living I had to ask his take on the progress of the strike. In the course of our conversation, totally unprompted he brings up Pitt and Crowe. Now he didn’t go as far as to call Crowe a scab but he did say that the WGA has a long memory and is making note of who is a friend (Pitt) and who sided with the enemy, meaning the studio (Crowe).
I asked him [the WGA union leader] why he thought Crowe made the decision he did. Possible reasons:
1. money
2. because he’s a **** (his word not mine)
3. When Crowe signed on he thought the strike was soon to end thus he would get the rewrites needed
4. All of the above
I tossed out, “Maybe he liked the script as is?” I was told the script, as is -is weak.”

Its so funny to me that the people who hate them are the first to respond to any news about this couple. Look at the hits on this thread.. Approaching 300 in minutes. They love each other, and it is great that they put family first. Keeping the kids together. When Brad did do the press thing without Angie everyone claimed there were problems. That she was having an emotional break down. I saw the pics of them leaving or arriving. She was smiling. If I ever have an emotional meltdown, I hope I look like her. I work with kids, and I can say the most families spend very little time bonding with their kids. After school stuff and work are keeping American Family apart. This is a special time with their kids. The children will remember this time for their entire lives. Take care of your own children, worry about them. The Jolie-Pitt six are doing well. Brad and their children are the grounding rock solid foundation of Angie’s life. I agree with you that she most likely takes her popularity in stride, aware of it of course, but relegating it to a tiny corner of her life. She has 7 people in her life that matter more than anything else in the world, and they are whom she concentrates on, not her career. She has said that they, her family, are her #1 priority and that is how she lives her life. How many actors at the height of their popularity and at her age takes time off like she does to concentrate on her family, very few do. She can pick and choose her projects and seems to choose those that will take no more than 2-3 months to film. She and Brad carefully coordinate their working schedules so that one parent is home with their kids. Work is certainly not the driving force in Angie’s life.
I am so happy for her that Brad came into her life, no matter the negativity attached to them by tabloids, they enrich each others lives so much in every way. I think both were needy for unconditional love from someone who completely accepted them as they are and that is what they give each other. No question about that in my mind. Both have been profoundly changed by their relationship, because Love and Trust and Respect are transforming.
