Brad Pitt: Hello, Yellow!
Brad Pitt dresses up in the ugliest yellow costume ever while filming a new commercial for Japanese cell phone company Softbank in a quaint seaside town in France over the weekend.
The 44-year-old actor wore matching yellow terrycloth outfit–fedora , 50’s button-down shirt and pants. Even so, Brad’s sexiness outshines that puke yellow outfit any day!
And if I’m not mistaken, that’s Wes Anderson there to direct Brad in the cell phone commercial. Other characters in a commercial include a woman wearing a bikini two sizes too small, a granny with a metal detector and a man walking around with a badminton racket.
UPDATE: German media is reporting that the whole Jolie-Pitt clan flew into Berlin, Germany yesterday. They are expected to stay there for 90 days while Brad films Inglorious Bastards with director Quentin Tarantino.

Hmmm Hens sure do have a hard-on for BP. All this bitter, angry ranting over a Man living his life, taking care of his family, doing some good in the world. Why you would think BP left their whiny ass and not the original Whiny.
heheeh…brads other half will be a taking care of the kids and you know,taking care of poppa at night!shi.t!…delicious!

NY Film Festival: Energy From Abroad
Still Boasts Many High-Profile American Films, But Introduces Talent From Around Globe
NEW YORK, Sept. 24, 2008
(AP) The New York Film Festival defines itself as an annual chance to take account of the state of film as art.
Last year’s story line was obvious enough: American filmmakers, from Julian Schnabel to Wes Anderson, were making - and finding ways to distribute - some excellent movies.
What a difference a year makes.
This year’s festival - which opens Friday with the U.S. premiere of the Cannes Palm d’Or winner “The Class” - still boasts a number of high-profile American films. But the stronger energy - as it often is at the NYFF - is from abroad.
Clint Eastwood’s “Changeling,” which stars Angelina Jolie, will make its U.S. premiere, as will Steven Soderbergh’s 4-hour epic “Che,” the festival’s centerpiece. Closing the festival will be Darren Aronofsky’s “The Wrestler,” which features an already much acclaimed performance from Mickey Rourke.
Throughout 2008, much of the dialogue in the art film community has been about the declining state of independent film as independent and boutique studios have shuttered. This year’s slate of American films at the NYFF is down to six (at least one of which was financed outside of the country) out of 28 films in total.
The New York Film Festival’s purview has never been constrained by borders. In its nearly five decades of existence (this is the 46th NYFF), it has specialized in introducing audiences to new filmmaking talent from around the globe.
The NYFF, which will run from Friday until Oct. 12, doesn’t give awards like most festivals but simply exhibits a curated batch of highly selective movies - many of which have played at earlier festivals. (This year’s selection committee is Richard Pena, chairman and program director of the Film Society; Kent Jones, associate director of programming at the Film Society; LA Weekly critic Scott Foundas; The Village Voice’s J. Hoberman; and Entertainment Weekly’s Lisa Schwarzbaum.)

anustin, you are a naughty girl. love it.
BDJ, what’s your problem with me ragging on Brad? You have no problem with “The others” obsession with all of his exes. At least this is a Brad Pitt thread and I am sticking to the subject. Don’t get mad because some actually think he’s no better than Gwynny or aniston.
I still think he’s shallow and self involved and he’s only super involved with charity because of Angelina. without her I doubt he would be as involved… he would still be doing what his ex the whiny one is doing. tanning, drinking, tanning, tanning, mexico, tanning, drinking, making stupid movies, and don’t forget tanning his leathery skin. how about that?
vicki & anustin, you are both so funny. I have only one wish when I go to Germany see my daughter, her husband , my new g-son & to see Brad & Angie. I don’t know what I am going to do if that happens. I will be content just be there & breath the same air that they breath.
They are showing Galveston on tv, can’t believe the devastations, people are still suffering.
OK, ladies, goodnight.God bless you all & the Jolie-Pitt’s.

ROTFLMAO. Tres jolie, give it up. Nobody gives a fcuk about what you think .
Trip………..
If you wish to rag on Brad why do you come to a pitt fan site???? If you are not a fan then why would you bother to say anything?
If your comments were intelligent observations that bore some merit on a n y level, we wouldn’t object, but you are simply running off at the mouth in order to get attention on this blog. You might have noticed if you had any observation powers, that people on this site are capable of original and isightful thought. You simply don’t measure up to the calibre of posting here. So, here’s a suggestion……..stfu.
I will be satisfied just to see Brad & Angie in person. I hope it’s possible. Take care ladies. God bless.
trip, the difference is brad saw how empty that life was and made a change. x is still living that very hollow existance.
Brad still managed to look his usual cute even wearing the agly outfit.
Only 10 days left for changeling premire. I can’t wait to see angie and brad at the red carpet and I can’t wait to see the W magazine pics. Do anybody know when that issue be at the bookstores to get one?

Style Secrets from Tim Gunn
DRESS FOR THE OCCASION
Avoid being too dressy for everyday activities by taking a cue from Angelina Jolie. “When it comes to everyday life, she’s always sophisticated, polished and occasion-appropriate,” Tim says. “She’ll be running around doing errands, and she doesn’t look like she’s going to a cocktail party. She knows how to navigate the world with panache and style.”
In a fitted sweater, straight skirt and ballerina flats, Angelina looks great and stays comfortable.
Amen to that vicki #289. How’s your mom doing?

Hope you see Brad and Angie. I’m going to Thailand to visit my son in about six weeks and I’m trying to figure out how to route myself thru Berlin with a three day layover! Guess where I’d be heading…off to try and breath the air that the JP’s do!

Awww. Jolie-Pitts move to Berlin for Brad’s new movie IB. Brad and Angie are so in love, they never separate more than five days. They always are together. Their love story is too beautiful for words.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think it is the greatest love story of the millenium…I mean, who would have thought just 4 years ago, when Diane Sawyer interviewed Brad and the whole cast of Oceans 12, when he looked sad because he didnt have kids, and he clearly wanted a lot of children so badly.. And Angie, who said in an interview that she was not destined to find love, that love was for other people, not for her.
Angie not only gave him the kids, but has also encourage him to do more hands on humanitarianism and all of their film roles post 2005 have generated good reviews for both of them. Their family is so beautiful…
I just hope that both of them dont get snubbed at the Oscars and the major awards next year.
irma, she is doing ok, still some good days and some bad days. i think the grief group is helping. how was your day off? hugs.
OMFG… is this brainf@rt Wednesday or what?
First… that dumb@$$ Chicago columnist misidentified Pax’s nationality; then, In Touch had the cheek to come up with a Brad Pitt timeline which is completely fcuked; and now E!!! I was watching and they used the 2006 Berlin clip of Brad and Maddox getting into a car to discuss the JPs’ move, but had the nerve to say that the clip was from this past March and that Pax was the kid with him.
Errrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… in March, the JPs were in Texas.
And hello, the Jesse James jet black hair Brad was rocking should have been an even bigger clue.
oh my gold! just saw e.talk canada….featuring……..the cross-eyed lainey!!!!!!the berlin stop is soooo popular.her eye went side by side!sorry.
“Fallback girl” is probably the best description for DS. I didn’t really pay much attention to RS back then. This was back around 2000 or so. I just remember that when the story hit about RS bumping uglies with MR my friend said she’d have to get the scoop from her daughter about how DS was taking the news. I didn’t even know he had a gf in Oz because he certainly never acted like it. That’s when my friend said DS was his fiancee and they’d been dating off-and-on for donkey years even then. She did say that she didn’t think DS would be too surprised because she’d never been able to “tame” RC.
BTW - I’m LOL at the Putrid story. I think the last time Brad went to the Oscars was 2002. Putrid didn’t come fess up about her behavior until 2003 or so, so I can totally see her trying to sneak past him.
Speaking of Brad & RC - RC has gotten offered at least two projects Brad turned down - State of Play and The Fountain. He got a huge payday that he wouldn’t normally have gotten out of SOP, so he should be kissing Brad’s motorcycle boots…
Thanks, I love the dish. His wife may be a lovely person but she is a mess. With all that money and the work she’s had done I don’t understand why she looks so trashy all the time. There must be people in Oz with taste to gently advise her or style her a bit better. She could look so much better.
I’ve told this before but at one of the movie sites I visit there was a report during the WGA strike from one of the posters. He said he was present during a conversation between his boss and a high muckety muck in the Writers Union about the SOP brouhaha when Brad refused to work unless they waited for the strike to end and fix the allegedly very weak script. The poster worked up the nerve to ask the union leader about the Pitt/Crowe SOP scenario and why Crowe would have taken the role in the midst of strike.
Here’s the post with the Poster’s identity I am redacting:
“I got the chance to discuss the strike with a WGA member who is pretty high up on the food chain. He and my boss are friends and of course when I found out who he was (to be honest his name didn’t ring any bells) and what he does for a living I had to ask his take on the progress of the strike. In the course of our conversation, totally unprompted he brings up Pitt and Crowe. Now he didn’t go as far as to call Crowe a scab but he did say that the WGA has a long memory and is making note of who is a friend (Pitt) and who sided with the enemy, meaning the studio (Crowe).
I asked him [the WGA union leader] why he thought Crowe made the decision he did. Possible reasons:
1. money
2. because he’s a **** (his word not mine)
3. When Crowe signed on he thought the strike was soon to end thus he would get the rewrites needed
4. All of the above
I tossed out, “Maybe he liked the script as is?” I was told the script, as is -is weak.”
Thanks again for the goss.
This is my first time posting, always been too shy to post. On the Daily 10 they showed pics of the Jolie-Pitts new home for 90 days. Really pretty. Also showed pic of Brad in that yellow outfit walking behind a volkswagon bug or similar French type car. Did not see those pics in the earlier posted pics.
