Cate Blanchett: Worth Almost $50 million!
Australian actress Cate Blanchett leaves her hotel in Milan with her son, Ignatius Upton in her arms on Tuesday.
Ignatius‘ father is Australian playwright and director Andrew Upton. Iggy is now 5 months.
The 39-year-old actress was in Milan for the Giorgio Armani Fashion show earlier in the week.
The Australian BRW Young Rich List recently came out with Cate the Great coming in at No. 41 with $48 million. Kylie Minogue came in at No. 23 with $84 million.

Those lists are bogus. Star’s may have huge debts and obligations, or other investments, etc…
Kate may have a lot more money… or less.

those yearly estimated income lists don’t mean anything unless it’s an actual estimated value worth not what their total annual income the previous year. talent and class outweigh everything.

janinsca, wow are you ever out of touch….Aussie dollar is only seven australian cents lower than the US dollar. the US$ has lost its lolly in the last few years, in case you hadn’t noticed (and obviously…YOU HADN’T!!) As for “Cate the Great,” you uneducated plebs, its a reference to a queen, Catherine the Great. God, is anybody here in possession of sense, intelligence, or plain good taste?? Answer: very few…..

btw, “Cate the Great” is befitting.
She’s such an interesting actress…she can make you believe she’s gorgeous and she can make you believe she’s utterly plain. She becomes her character and makes you forget Cate…I really appreciate her talents.
