Katie Holmes is Fierce and Focused
Katie Holmes arrives at the Gerard Schoenfeld Theatre for her performance of All My Sons in New York City on Wednesday.
The 29-year-old has had to deal with anti-Scientology protests, however, and co-star John Lithgow has said that she has taken them in stride. He commented, “It (the protest) was much more disruptive to the other theaters on the street! Katie is lovely in the play, and she’s been such a sweetheart to work with. She has worked so hard - this is a tough, tough play. Katie is acting with thoroughbreds and she’s doing a wonderful job! She’s had to really push herself.”

HEY VICTORIA–
The show is actually doing very well or at least last week did. The average ticket price tho indicates there must have been a good bunch of folks buying tickets at the Half Price place, but hey, they probably did make money last week and of course if this keeps up their ROI (return on investment) will be soon. I still think the critics are not going to rave about her, but hopefully they will rave about Lithgow and Weist, the real actors/stars and that will get the serious theater goer there.
Do you think she is wearing a cross to prove you can be Catholic and a Sci at the same time or maybe like Nicole she has had it with the cult. I think cutting Catholicism out of your life would be much more difficult than something like Lutheran or Presby etc. Catholism has more pagentry, ritual, etc. for people to take comfort in and to perform.
Who knows, I certainly don’t.
It just is very strange to me that she turns into Katie the Grump the minute Tom isn’t there. When Tom is around she laughs and smiles. Is she that upset that he isn’t there? If so, why do this play then? Guess we will never know!!!
I read Lithgow’s comments and came up with the same impression. He was certainly diplomatic and kind but it was all window dressing; actually said nothing glowing about her performance at all. I would have hated to be in his shoes; you have to respect someone with that kind of tact.

Who really gives a crap what’s around her neck? She’s the type that can’t be trusted because she is a phoney. Whatever the reason, she is not sincere. If she cared about God in the first place, would she have ever dumped her Catholic upbringing? There is a 99.99999% probability that she would not return to her Catholic faith because Tom would not let her.
I’ve already wasted too much of my life on this golddigger.. gotta go do something constructive like take a sheet…..

I happen to think she is a pretty lady and Im glad she dresses sweet and grounded as in conservative opposed to the sex overkill and ****** looks.
You rarely see without her phone in her hand anymore. Even the pics of her in the park with Suri, she had her phone always in her hand. I thought it was strange then and I think it strange now. Whatever the reason, this girl has some serious issues and to be honest, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised to read of her accidental untimely death. I don’t wish it, but this is just too weird.

Well said John Lithgow. I saw some vids where the public were so annoyed at the protestors and many people insulting them instead.
I’M GUESSING THAT TOM DOESN’T WANT KATIE LOOKING GOOD WHEN HE IS BACK IN CA SO SHE DRESSES LIKE A STREET PERSON, EXCEPT NEVER WEARING THE SAME THING TWICE, AND THEN WHEN HE IS BACK IN TOWN WITH SURI, SHE DRESSES UP. I hope for the sake of Lithgow and Weist the show is a hit, but it is still early. Reviews haven’t come out. Katie only has so many fans, not sure if they can support the show if it takes a critical review.

Katie looks stunning on this charity buzz site where fans can bid and meet her. The charity is by Tony Bennett.
First of all, that is NOT a cross. A Christian cross has a longer vertical bar and the horizontal bar is higher. It’s a plus sign and it’s very popular here in New York right now.
Secondly, Tom Cruise said in an interview with Diane Sawyer in 2006 that he and “Katie are JUST SCIENTOLOGISTS”. YOU CANNOT BE A SCIENTOLOGIST AND A CATHOLIC.
Scientology likes to tell the media and new members that it’s possible to be a Scientologist and any other religion, however when you finally reach OT III, you learn that Hubbard teaches that Jesus Christ and the concept of God is an implant created by the evil overlord Xenu to control human being. I’m not kidding. I was born into Scientology and reached OT V before I left as a teenager. That is exactly what I was taught. Furthermore, attempting to practice another religion and Scientology is called “mixing practices” and is STRICTLY AGAINST THE RULES. You can be declared a Suppressive Person for mixing practices and disconnected from any friends or family still in Scientology.
Finally, a Scientologist cannot be married to a non-Scientologist. That means Tom would not stay married to Katie if she wasn’t a Scientologist. If you marry a non-Scientologist, it is said that you do not have “affinity” which is the number one rule in all Scientology relationships. Without it, a marriage can’t exist or happen. That’s the truth.
