Go ahead, make my movie: Eastwood directs Jolie in “The Changeling.”
The 46th New York Film Festival opens Friday and although it may not be one of the flashiest of festivals - no peculiar Midnight Madness shows, no all-night distribution deals hammered out in Utah condos, no shady European financiers with Croatian starlets on their meaty arms - I think it remains one of the best.

I miss Shiloh. Brad is a good provider, works hard and is devoted to his family. Angie is very lucky. Can’t wait to see this film. I want to see the twins. Never mind I do not want the papz stalking them.

According to german papers, they were in the restaurant until 2:30am and ordered lots of alcohol.

Brad was drinking vodka.

The paper also mentions that angelina didn’t leave the house yesterday.

I so agree with what you said. I also want to see pictures of the kids but not at the lost of their peace. Maybe they can post some chosen pictures but if they did that every one would scream bloody murder because They put pictures out to the public. Sometime they can’t cut a break.
I love this family and want to see more pictures of the kids as they grow up. I want to see new pictures of Angie too. It’s so precious the way they love their children. Bless them.

Time for daddy to work and Angie to rest for just a little bit. She will head out next week to work for a little bit also, bet the twins travel with her. Hope Holly is doing fine. Bet her and Angie talk every day about their new babes!

You know, I recall during the filming of Ocean’s 12 (when Brad was ‘technically’ with Maniston), both Clooney and Pitt laughing about how Catherine Zeta Jones could drink them BOTH under the table. There were pics of Brad and the gang on board yachts in the mediterreanean drinking (Maniston THOUSANDS of miles away, had not been with him for MONTHS) Funny how, no craploids and no crazy posters came out and called Zeta Jones, the mother of two ‘a drunk,’ no one wrote stories about how Brad had been away from Maniston for 3 months and 6 months at a time, partying it up on yachts and (GASP!!!) drinking (DOUBLE GASP!) alcoholic bevs during Ocean’s 12….

But NOW, Brad, a guy who the only thing he took from Maniston — up and moved his entire BAR away to his new digs when he dumped her asss, SUDDENLY can’t even go out of the house to restaurants EVER…and drink anything but MILK….

..anything else, and that will be used to beat up on him, Angelina and his kids.

Why??

Because he’s with Angelina Jolie fools.

No one really CARED when he was with ugly TV woman. It was enough for all the catty women out there, that a BEAUTIFUL girl did NOT have him. B*tches are FINE about it, when the ugly woman gets the guy — they can muddle thru, have constant problems, stay separated, say doom & gloom sh*t in the press about the state of their union, break up, get back together barely, confess that they want out, confess that they are not the ;loves of each other’s lives,’….all from the horses mouthes…and MIRACULOUSLY….no tabloid stories, no gossip to be had….

But constant togetherness, baby making, praise-filled interviews, loving looks, massive PDA, devotion tattoos with Angelina Jolie, drives the crazy trolls and haters INSANE with catty b*tchy nasty rage….well, because Brad Pitt is with The Beautiful Girl….all must be destroyed…even if it’s in their own jealousy afflicted diseased and delusional minds.

In other words, the beautiful girl MAKES THEM CARE about Brad and watch him like a hawk.

Brad’s bar was much MUCH LOWER for Brad when he was with the homely bad TV actress Maniston…all he had to do, was just stay in it…..just show up…even if it was 5000 miles away living it up in Morroco dry humping Rose Byrne on camera, never setting eyes on fuggiston and quite happy NOT to…lolol….no cries from the fans, no headlines, no constant inferences of breakup or problems….Brad could have f**ked all the extras on Troy in the middle of the street, dousing himself in alcohol and lighting it on fire…while screaming I HATE Jen Aniston….

…and the tabloids and denila lovin’ fanistons would have occasionally looked up to wonder what kind of scarf Maniston was wearing, and when and if perhaps she and Brad would attend the People’s Choice Awards (TV category).

Maybe we’ll finally get more pics of AJ and the little ones. :)

He was not there was another prove that the marriage was almost done just like Jen visited him just once in 6 months while Brad was on location shooting at Malta on 2003. It’s not what the tabloids and Huvaniston told us that the “golden couple” marriage suddenly break apart because of evil Angelina. the marriage was over since the later part of 2003. he can easily took a few days off from OC12 set but nope ! he rather be with George and gang that with Maniston.

As much as Brad was responsible for 50 % of his marriage melt down, his X should also be responsible for the other 50 %, not just 2% as she whiinned and cried at VF article.

Can’t stand her passive-aggressive, narcissistic, hypocrite, selffish, vindictive behavior. not a great fans of her before , despise her after her unending post divorce pity parties.

He should have rescheduled his work for her? Aah, I see you are from the Marriage is a “One person always taking and not giving” school of thought. Let’s forget the whole “Actors work with other people and more often than not, they don’t have control over scheduling…especially when it is because their wife who is also in the business and she should know better, is completing a job, not a ground breaking job like finding the cure for cancer but an acting job like everyone in the business” side of the argument and look at it on a more personal basis.

Now I am not going to be presumptious to say I know exactly what went down in the marriage but anyone with common sense won’t have a hard time concluding that a woman, who despite having a husband who gave up two years of work to prepare for children, having the writers of her show work a preganacy into her storyline to accomadate her childbearing status…but still holds back, is not the giving type.

You don’t have to be a genuis to know that a woman who says she had to FORCE herself to go see her husband when he was shooting out of the country for 3 MONTHS is not the giving type.

You’d have to be a child…a brainless one at that, to expect anyone not to get fed up doing all the giving and getting nothing return.

Hey everyone.

Brody, you could say that there were times that Aniston abandoned Brad. Let’s see, he was in Malta for 2 1/2 months filming Troy and she only went to see him one time. He went to his parents anniversary party in Missouri by himself because Ansiton just had to be in L.A. to receive an award.

About that period. Brad, due to his injury to his Achilles, pushed back the finish of Troy by six weeks. That was a 150M dollar movie. Due to that, the start of M&MS got pushed back, which was a 110M movie and O12 got pushed back, which was another 80-90M dollar movie. So, no, he didn’t have the luxury of taking a day off, at that time. He’d already cost studios money due to his injury.

Get over it, it’s been over 4 years.

Whether you like Angelina or not, she is a much better fit for him and a much more supportive partner. She doesn’t roll her eyes about his taste in modern furniture and comment on how uncomfortable it is. She certainly didn’t roll her eyes in the Diane Sawyer interview where she asked about kids and Brad said six (Jen eye roll) and Jen said one maybe two at the most. Angelina certainly doesn’t roll her eyes at his charity and volunteer efforts and say “it’s not my thing.”

You know Brody, most of the gossip columnists at the time (before blogs became a big deal) were hinting, with I think Ted Casablanca, coming right out and saying there was trouble in the marriage within two years of the vows. That when they went to parties together they hit separate sides of the rooms after getting photographed arriving. They spent very little time together in the last year. And some were hinting of *gasp* actual cross words exchanged between the two. Although many columnists aren’t that reliable, many are and get their information by attending parties that the actors do!

Again, whether you like Angie or not, if you look at the realities of the Jen-Brad marriage in the last two years–they probably would have divorced anyhow. Brad meeting Angie speeded things up. They have similar goals, interests, loves — of children, flying, motorcycles, charity/volunteerism, adventure, etc.

He’s happy. Angelina is happy and most importantly for you Jen says she is happy. Everyone is HAPPY.

So what is your problem?

African Girl, first off the fallacy I was referring to was that in my original post rather than deal with my argument you focused on a particular word thus subverting the argument. There wasn’t really a response or rather there wasn’t a coherent one. Second, i agree you shouldn’t be presumptuous yet that is exactly what you are doing. Marriage is a two way system and this is something I believe in as opposed to what you assume my view on marriage is. You further conclude that her supposed unwillingness to have children means she is not the giving type yet fail to explore possible external reasons as to her reluctance to “give” him children. If marriage is a two way thing then at the very least that has to be considered. As you said, we don’t and will never know what went on in their marriage yet you seem to, by means of evaluating the tone of your arguments, have concluded that she is primarily at fault. If you don’t know what happened how can you hold such beliefs?

Once again Observer2, I am not here as some sort of Aniston apologist so there is nothing for me to “get over”. I’m simply baffled by the (ir)rational of some posters.

It’s going good, how about with you? I see an Aniston fan is still whining. My hell, Friends will have been finished for 5 years in 3 months and here is someone whining about Brad not being there. When Aniston wasn’t with Brad on two of his birthdays, only saw him a few times in a 6 month period, when he was working and blames it on her fear of flying. When said woman doesn’t have a problem flying when it’s due to her work. But, visiting her husband when their marriage is on very shaky ground.

I bet Brad felt really special when she questioned if he was the love of her live in a national magazine. And oh, when she forgot to thank him at an awards show when he was right there. And backstage, her comment was, thanks for keeping me together man. You could just feel the love by those actions. Not.

So to question why Brad did not attend the last taping of Friends he would have had to abandon the film that he was working on and that would be considered poor work ethic. Same reasoning here too.. she couldnt get out of the promotion as it is signed in the contract.

Why do people always act like Jennifer Aniston is exclusively a totally unstable control freak who made Brad miserable? Look at Angelina Jolie’s history with all her weird-ass relationships and attention getting PR stunts and quirks. Despite its shiny veneer, Angelina Jolie no doubt brought along all that emotional baggage with her when she boarded the Brangelina train, and Brad I’m sure endures it behind closed doors. I would compare Angelina to Madonna. They are more highly-strung, highly image-conscious divas who ultimately must always get what they want, e.g the perfect family.

I think it speaks volumes as to what drives the haters when they voiced no such possibilities of Brad straying on set away in Malta for months alone while Jen Aniston was stateside, not that eager to even make a trip out. Brad was actually surrounded by beauties, and Kruger (even though miscast as Helen as many said) was the least beautiful - he was making love to the beautiful Rose Byrne, while he had few scenes with the generic ho-hum blonde Kruger (again there was criticism because as far as beauty, she’s on par more with a Paris Hilton and less of a Charlize Theron, lol ), he also was in scenes with the other true stunner Saffron Burrows (she played Eric Bana’s wife - many said she should have played Helen).. and then you had the facially unfortunate Jennifer Aniston suffering through “rough and nasty” patches in her marriage…and yet the tabloids didn’t TOUCH it or infer anything…mainly because they give the homely women they don’t care about free passes. The beautiful girls they perceive as having it all, like Angelina, they are eager to trash and thrash, they’ll throw everything including the kitchen sink at them. Aniston they really didn’t care about. For catty tabloids and other female haters, taunting the ugly Aniston with beautiful girls is NO fun. That’s like taunting themselves. See, they want to bring the beauties down, not the already neurotic homelies. There’s no fun in that for them. Maybe they can somehow work Joshua Jackson, Diane’s longtime boyfriend and rumored fiance into their delusional ramblings, and get a 4-some going with Angelina. By the way Diane and Joshua looked incredibly cute together in Venice (see wireimage) and TO (his movie had a Gala premiere there), all loved up. Me - Of course there are pictures of them in the med because she FORCED herself to go see him (her words). I don’t know about you but for people who know their own self-worth, not getting at all is a lot better than getting from someone who grudgingly gives. I hate to beat a dead horse, but I have to ask…how emotionally fragile and messed up does one have to be to need someone to hold their hands for something they knew was coming to an end? From the moment the show began, she knew it would end some day. All through the last season, she knew the end was near. This was not a spur of the moment, get to work and find out you’ve been fired kinda thing, you know like what many people out there in the real world are going through right now. Not only did she know it was ending, she already had a new job lined up…unlike many people out there in the real world.

Brody, You have got to be kidding. Her job ended. That is all. No matter how huge a part of her life it was, she and her friends from her job all have enough money to see each other any time they want.

As a former military wife, I would like to tell you how many of us have had babies when our husbands have been deployed. We all managed to deal with that “abandonment” because it was their JOB.
We dealt with birthdays without Daddy, Christmas’ without Daddy, the loss of friends and family members without our husbands to hold our hands.

Am I saying that this was ideal? NO but it was our reality. We chose to marry someone in the military so we kenew this was a possibility.

X knew she married someone who was REQUIRED to travel for work. MONEY IS LOST when production shuts down.

X saw no problem delaying starting a family because of her career goals.

Why do you think Brad and Angelina schedule their jobs so someone is always there with their kids?

Why do you think Brad did not attend film festivals when Shiloh was due.

The reality of travel for work is not lost on them. They deal with it!

X expected everything in Brad’s llife to come to a grinding halt when she “needed support”. That is unrealisitc in the best of marriages.

Keep it in perspective. If you can’t then go to any airport or any naval base and watch the men come home. Watch their faces when they see their child for the first time.

it was pre babies first of all.and it was after 1/5 months not being seen. yeah totally bad partner,i mean which one of our fathers had taken almost 6 months off and went out once in a while when our mothers were pregnant,i’m sure mine was working until the last day and he took one day off and then left for work tomorrow. Even when she was completely free after ‘Friends’ Jenny couldn’t be bothered to go to Europe and live with her husband while he filmed ‘Ocean’s 12′. Brody - dude Brad was “there” and in their home and in Jen’s bed when she finished filming ‘Friends’. He just wasn’t at the taping of the last episode. He was feverishly working on 3 films he had back end participation on. He very likely felt he was trying to secure his family’s financial future, if he still believed they had a future, which is just as likely as Cl9iniqua and PT’s beliefs.

@Trip - Brad and Angelina are having red-hot careers. Most parents out there would agree that no matter how much you love your kids, or your spouse, to be good parents and partners, you still have to maintain your own identity and do the things you love away from your kids and spouse. They are first and foremost actors by profession. Even if they take time off, of course they will return to the jobs that they love. This is a non-issue.

Secondly, if that post of X and Mayer reuniting by Perez his true, then X has stooped to a new low in my book. After all the trash talk that she had her friends say about him after he DUMPED her and publicly declared it in an impromptu papz press conference, why in hell would you want to get back with a guy like that?! Well, the answer is a simple one, because they’re worth it. The JP family is worth 14 MILLION dollars, ALL of it going to charity. This past week 2 mil went out to organizations aiding the victims, most babies & children surviving the most brutal impoverished conditions imaginable. That money will save lives, improve conditions, and provide continuing education and health care.

Sure, the JPs would have been within their rights to like Halle Berry, give the tabloid media a FREE gift at the public zoo and park. My guess is, the magazines that had nalah on their cover that week and touted ‘FIRST PICS!!’ probably raked in a good 2-4 mill in extra circ numbers and the papz that got his pic to press first may have made enough to retire.

That was really kind of Halle. Allowing the industry that lies regularly (on her sometimes) steals stars medical records, bribes hospital workers, and endangers citizens regularly on the roads in LA to have a FREE shot to race the first pics to print and score millions…they can use that money to tell more lies, harrass more people, and endanger more people for even bigger pay days for bigger stars than Halle.

Billy Bob Is Talking Again

You know what I want to see? I want to see a skit on SNL where Angelina Jolie and Billy Bob Thornton are talking on the phone. Apparently the way to get Billy Bob to talk during an interview is to ask him about his music or about Angelina. Ask him about one of those subjects and you can’t get the guy to shut up.

Well, in an interview he gave yesterday he said that he and Angelina are still best friends. This doesn’t appear to be one of those generic statements guys say about their exes where they claim they are best friends and she really can’t stand the guy.

I got the feeling from the interview that Billy Bob talks to Angelina almost every day. Now, if they were just friends I guess that would be ok. But, he has made it very clear that he thinks that he and Angelina will get back together someday and they plan on making another film together. So, what does Brad think about this? What would any guy think about it. You either have to be one hell of a secure person or just don’t give a cr*p one way or the other.

I can just hear Billy Bob calling and Brad picking up.
